Frankly, Im all for uncensored open discussions between everyone with everyone else. Thats really how we solve problems. What worries me is that Trump will somehow offend Putin, but not the other way around.

Written by Daniel McAdams - Monday July 16, 2018 Presidents Trump and Putin have just concluded a press conference where although there remained some serious points of contention -- specifically, Iran -- both leaders agreed that their summit was a great start to restoring good relations between the US and Russia. The neocons -- on both the Left and Right -- are furious. Former CIA chief John Brennan called the meeting "treason." What are we to make of the meeting? The crime you are being charged with is being Innocent of the charge of being Guilty of the crime of which you are accused. --- John Adams once said: “It is more important that innocence be protected than it is that guilt be punished, for guilt and crimes are so frequent in this world that they cannot all be punished. But if innocence itself is brought to the bar and condemned, perhaps to die, then the citizen will say, ‘whether I do good or whether I do evil is immaterial, for innocence itself is no protection,’ and if such an idea as that were to take hold in the mind of the citizen that would be the end of security whatsoever.”

I see a pattern here similar to most of American culture. Leaders of Groups have authority to tell the masses what to do. Starts in school, ends with your job. Cradle to Grave.

Just an excuse for govt to validate its existence. "You need us to protect you from yourselves." But taken a step further, how about "Homeowners"? If you actually own your own home, should you "be allowed" to smoke in your own home? Remember, the goal is to convert Rights into Permissions, then DENY those Permissions. Now, before you answer, define "Homeowner". Is it a person that took out a loan from a bank to buy their house? If that is the case, then those people are NOT technically the "Homeowner", the Bank is. Would the Bank have the Right to decree you "may not smoke" in the home they own? Should only people who have paid off their houses be allowed to smoke? Taken a step further, if the Bank owns your home, what other Behaviors will they have authority to regulate? If there are children in the home of a person who owes money to the bank for the purchase of their house, will the Bank have Authority to decide whether or not you may or may not Homeschool? At what point is the line drawn? Not only do we apparently need Big Govt to "protect us from ourselves", do we also need Banks and Corporations to regulate peoples behavior? Would they validate that by "just protecting their investment"? Why not add in to Employers? Since Employers pay the Owners / Renters, would that not be misconstrued to be the same as Public Housing since essentially the Employer is paying the Rent / Mortgage? Should an Employer also have Authority to tell ALL employees how they may or may not behave? By the exact same token, why not Insurance Companies? Why not EVERYONE except the individual to have any self authority what so ever? Socialism is the Great Lie by which everyone lives at the expense of everyone else. By extension, it gives everyone authority over everyone else, until everything is illegal.

Get em while they're young... There are big problems with Education in general. The specifics of the problems are mentioned constantly in the Family, Parenting, and Education thread. If they get "control" of Homeschooling, all they end up doing is continuing the same set of problems that plague Education and making sure those problems continue into Homeschooling. Its a double edged sword they plan to use to discredit Homeschoolers by eventually claiming that Homeschooling is no better than Public Education, so why waste your time, then saying they have zero involvement in how children are schooled when not in Public Education. Things like Standardized Tests. Trouble with Standardized Tests is it only shows a form of Inauthentic Learning. The real lesson is the test itself. What Standardized Testing itself teaches as a lesson is fixed habits of reaction to authority. In homeschooling, it teaches children that parents are NOT figures of authority as they have to answer to the State. The subject matter when taught with the context of standardized tests is completely irrelevant because the real lessons that are taught thru interference is that no one is safe from that interference. Next major problem is that it will teach children that parents are incompetent and should not be looked to as sources of valid information. This further destroys the Nuclear Family, or what is left of it. Govt regulation causes intentional interference between the natural relationship between parents and children, and the problems that are created will cause blame to be thrown about within the family itself, but Govt will absolve itself of any wrongdoing. Statistically, the consequences will be held in the light, despite the cause of the negative results being govt interference, failures will always be placed squarely on parent educators and used to discourage other parents from homeschooling. Then, if you had someone like Zippy who was an advocate of Compulsory State Education, they would shove those statistics down the throats of everyone while defending the system itself. The Prussian Education Model trained children to become Obedient Workers. In the near future, that may very well change dramatically. The system will be retooled so Workers is replaced by Voters. Children will be taught from birth too look to non family figures of Authority as their only salvation. Education when not homeschooled will teach children that their own parents are incompetent because they do not have answers to everything. When at home, the parents will be set up to fail because they will be required to teach New Math and place importance on adherence to stupid rules. This will cause the credibility of the parents to be severely undermined in the eyes of the children.

DamianTV replied to a thread End of BANANAS? in Open Discussion
I thought Bananas as we knew them (I never experienced) were killed off in the 60's or 70's? Banana trees dont pollinate the same way as other plants. New banana trees were simply branches that were planted in the ground and took root. This came with a drawback of every banana tree being genetically identical, thus, they were highly susceptible to certain diseases, and all the banana trees back in the day of the same genes were wiped out. Todays yellow bananas are also mutations. Two species of bananas are used to create a Hybrid. I dont remember which one is which, but there are Red and Green Bananas. I think Green Bananas have a thin skin but the pulp is bitter and nasty tasting. Red Bananas had skins that were way too thick and very little pulp, but taste sweet. The Hybrid produces Yellow Bananas (genetically different than those mentioned in the first paragraph, which is why "classic" banana flavors taste nothing like banana we have today). Yellow hybrids have thin skin and taste sweet. Because we have no Bananas today!

And with that exactly, it should be obvious there is ZERO intent on winning the War on Drugs, only sustaining it. Just like Cops whose sole purpose is to hand out speeding tickets as a source of revenue, the intent is to give more speeding tickets so they can hire even more cops to give more speeding tickets. The industry supports itself by validating its purpose. In the War on Drugs, the intent is to maintain the production of drugs. They validate their existence by going after a few of the middle men and really go after the low level dealers. They never go after the sources. They know if they win the War on Drugs, they are out of a job. How many other industries are just as predatory as Drugs? Healthcare keeps people sick so they use more healthcare. Welfare keeps people poor so they use more welfare. Debt keeps people broke so they use even more debt. Belief, Money, Violence. First, we have to Believe that drugs are bad, m'kay? Once we believe that, that belief is used to validate their sustained purpose by supposedly going after "bad drugs". I'd like to say they are funded by tax money, but too often that isnt the case, especially at higher levels. They print their own money by borrowing from the Fed, and the value comes from stealing the value of your money without touching the quantity. And if YOU dont "pay your taxes", then they come after you and take your property. Thats a form of Violence. If you resist or are found guilty, they throw you in jail. Another form of Violence. And those prisons are far too often backed up by the circle of demanding more money by making everyone Believe you are bad and they need to spend money on applying various forms of Violence to you. The good news is if you break one block in that vicious circle, the whole thing comes falling down. They want violence because that is what they are geared toward. So you cant take them out using Violence alone. Now, if you are faced with an army about to kick in your front door, and they know if they do, they bite the hand that feeds them, and will no longer receive a Paycheck because they kick in your front door, that entire army is defeated. That army also may Believe they are doing the "right thing". Destroy that belief and free them of obedience to Money, and they may stand there ready to attack, order to attack is given, and they say "meh" and walk away and leave you alone. If they did not Believe that being an enforcer of Violence was the right thing to do, they may not become cops or soldiers at all. Many do it because of the Power of Money. But, if they also Believe that the Money had its value based on how much Violence they do not conduct, they may choose to not attack in order to keep their own Money. Take away their weapons, the army runs away. Cut off their Paychecks, they walk away. Alter their Beliefs, and they choose to ignore their bosses and walk away. Thus, you always have someone in govt telling you to "Take our Money and conduct Violence on our behalf, or we will pay someone else to be Violent toward you also". Successful Revolutions do not rely on Violence alone. The other methods are far more effective.

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-07-04/rediscovering-america-quiz-fourth-july http://www.insidesources.com/rediscovering-america-quiz-fourth-july/ Quiz Answers and all questions at links at top. --- I will admit I did not do so hot by their scale, but I think the trouble here is the Quiz has the same problem as Public Schools have. There is a greater importance placed on specifics without addressing why those specifics are important. So here is a question. Who was the President of the United States (POTUS) in 1776? Next oddity that may commonly come up is that George Washington had TWO Birthdays. This is because there were two calendar systems in place at that time. Wait, why is that important, and is George Washington the ONLY PERSON with TWO birthdays? Would not the same problem affected everyone else? Its the deeper meaning of what Tests like these fail to address as being truly important. Facts ARE important, very important, but should never be used to undermine anyones sense of self determination or purpose. So if you scored like shit like I did, it does not mean you are a terrible Libertarian or even American. If you only judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, the fish may believe it is dumb for its entire life. Thats a metaphor for people who score poorly on this test. It is only done in the Spirit of American History, and how little our own history is held on to by our culture.

What happens if their own tech is used against them? If there is a Civil War, one needs to look no further than to those who stand to benefit the most to know who the real enemy is here. They are the ones behind the puppet politicians who would benefit by suspending the Constitution in order to establish a system that benefits them at the expense of everyone else. The politicians and MSM? They are just cheerleaders.

Exactly. The people that benefit, and referring to Public Schools, not Charter Schools, are the people at the top who get paid when your kid goes to their school. They dont get paid of your kid doesnt attend their class. It also exactly follows what John Taylor Gatto (vid at link) said about Public Schools, where the Function of Schools is to first teach Fixed Habits of Reaction to authority, where, the kid learns they are always being watched, and the actual lesson is Obedience. What child will ever choose to disobey Stupid Orders if they have a sense that they are always being watched? Second is the Diagnostic Function, which is where constant surveillance comes into play, where every action and behavior of the child is logged and recorded, and used to mathematically determine their likely destination of life, to push them toward that destination, and no further. As Gatto said, what is achieved in schools is to create a mental framework that is carried within the mind of the child through out their entire life by retarding their maturity which causes them to become dependent on authority. It is much easier to manage a large group of childlike adults than it is to demand adherence to stupid orders from a small group of independent self reliant thinkers, thus solving the great problem of constant supervision. Schools and Total Surveillance indoctrinate the minds of the young to prevent them from becoming the types of people who produce for themselves, but not the real owners of this country.

In general... They genuinely think that the Cloward Piven Strategy will actually work. Trouble is that guaranteed annual income will most likely be completely unlivable and will trap most in a state of permanent economic futility. Socialism is the Great Lie by which everyone lives at the expense of everyone else. ---

Is a Future Revolution Possible Without Privacy?

by DamianTV on 03-11-2013 at 02:16 PM
(This was a post that I slightly edited to make sense by itself. The original post is here.)

Very few people are looking toward the Future when Privacy is Impossible. But if Privacy is completely gone, will a Revolution even be possible?

Google GlASS might be able to record what you do right now as a video, but this will only be the first in a long series of progressively privacy invading advancements. One of them inevitably will be Google Contact Lenses. However,
