I'd say they were in favor of self driving vehicles as well, but they were bleating about safety as well. Once the bugs are ironed out, I'm sure they will be falling all over themselves to promote these: Safe, sane, monitored, tracked, regulated, "green" and always under the watchful eyes of the surveillance grid. And they even come with adorable side panel murals of "diversity", birdies and fluffy bunnys.

And here come the nanny-staters.... Automotive News says the Dodge Demon should be banned http://www.foxnews.com/auto/2017/04/26/automotive-news-says-dodge-demon-should-be-banned.html Trade publication Automotive News has called for the new Dodge Challenger SRT Demon to be banned in a scathing editorial regarding the muscle car titled “Keep the Dodge Demon off our roads.” The outlet called the 808 hp Demon “inherently dangerous to the common safety of motorists,” even while admitting there are other “more powerful, and even faster vehicles available from other automakers that are rightly street legal.”

^This! As Ron Paul has said too many times to count, "Spending is the real tax!" SPENDING is what takes resources from the market and misallocates them through the State. "Taxes" are just one method of paying for the spending. Inflation and debt steal your wealth just as fast! If you don't cut spending, the State still needs to get the money from someplace. and you don't get "real" growth through borrowing (which is what the administration seems to be suggesting.) How about we grow a pair?!

People like Zip and TheCount are from the states, but I don't really get the British connection. Anyway, a joke to liven up the thread. Q: What do you call a Brit with a 68 IQ? A: Colonel, sir! Ba dum tsss!

Does your baloney never cease? You've spent the last few months talking about how Donny's policies of more government are never a way to liberty. You've shilled people here on the immigration issues by accusing them of wanting more government for eventual liberty, and now you suggest the same thing with the different issue of taxes. Do progressive wonders never cease? Here's the deal, Count. People on this forum promote reduced spending regardless of the president in office. People don't follow the DU way or DU sentiment. Maybe try to be a little more consistent with your posting. Liberty does not follow your form of blue progressive ways by only attacking the red guy. Consider less baloney on your BS sandwich threads.

Well, I do check facts. Your article is written by some guy from The Atlantic Magazine. He expresses his evidence and doubt of numbers with words like "Bullshit." He makes up some chart with slavery numbers and then cites population density maps that have nothing to do with charts. His original source even says to click "gently" on those maps to find the information. Guess my mouse is not gentle enough. I know the numbers. I don't need a lesson from some fluffy magazine writer who makes up things and cites pretty colored pictures that have nothing to do with what he claims. What is in contention is revisionists who downplay anything and everything other than slavery.

The revisionism is happening today. One simple example is the subject of this article. Another is revisionists that downplay economic issues. The United States had grown into three distinctly recognized regions after the War of 1812. Subjects such as the tariff were ongoing and deep. Denying that in favor of one aspect is the epitome of revision.

Four states. You say the north had a stronger economy than the south and then tell me what I am saying does not make sense? If the north's economy was so strong, then why did they continue protections decades after these nascent northern industries should have been established? Furthermore, if they north's economy was so strong, then why did they endeavor to keep the south? Moreover, if the southern economy was so weak, then why did they break away from the north? No, you need to provide sources. I have never seen anybody on this forum throw out so much unsupported opinion, including in this thread.

I forget where I heard this, but someone said that Trump has terrible instincts and communication skills, and his -actual- strength is the ability to deflect blame and consequences from his poor decisions onto others. Does a pretty good job of explaining his business career, campaign, and first 100 days in the white house.

I WOULDN'T MIND SEEING YOU DOING THEM IF YOU HAVE SOME TIGHTS BUT IF YOU DON'T, I'M GOOD WITH SEEING A DANKE SPLIT TIGHTLESS, TOO.

Mainstream Media Finally Exposes CIA Drug Trafficking Conspiracy in Explosive History Channel Series http://thefreethoughtproject.com/paradigm-shift-history-channel-air-documentary-exposing-cia-drug-trafficking/ By Matt Agorist April 26, 2017 Richard Nixon, in his effort to silence black people and antiwar activists, brought the War on Drugs into full force in 1973. He then signed Reorganization Plan No. 2, which established the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Over the course of five decades, this senseless war has waged on. At a cost of over $1 trillion — ruining and ending countless lives in the process — America’s drug war has created a drug problem that is worse now than ever before. This is no coincidence.

I know you mean well, but I'd appreciate it if you would avoid engaging people like Sola in this thread who are clearly only there to be rude and derail. Perhaps take it to PMs or another thread. Thanks! ~hugs~
