You don't think you do. So here we have this batch of right wing "alternative" websites. And they're surprisingly well funded and slick for "alternative" sites. And they come up surprisingly high on google searches for "alternative" sites. And they agree on practically everything and march in lockstep to a surprising degree for "alternative" sites. And the leftist MSM doesn't mention Kennedy at all, while this cabal, this well funded echo chamber, fills Trump worshippers with a story so stupid that only the most gullible will buy it -- the man whose uncle was killed by the CIA, and whose father was killed by the CIA, and whose first cousin was killed by the CIA, and who fought the CUA (among others) tooth and nail over the jab, is doing it all for the CIA. And in your book, this is all supposed to be a recipe to get him elected. Even though it obviously couldn't work. Even though they're obviously satisfied with the two proven puppets they have or they wouldn't have forced everyone else out of both primary contests. Quiet primary season, isn't it? Quietest I've seen. Ever.

Oh, the alt-right branch of the MSM got to you. Never mind. Have fun swinging in the treehouse. You're obviously no less susceptible to a Narrative than you were when you were a Democrat swallowing the non-alt-right MSM.

Here, let me try to figure out his defense of this... "You see, Trump is a 4d chess player. He knows that if he didn't consult with Mike Johnson, then praise him afterward, that he may be subject to a future impeachment. See? Has was forced to do that, otherwise really bad things would happen to him! And we can't have bad things happening to him - he's our God!"

Mises Wire James Bovard 04/19/2024 Joe Biden is seeking to boost his reelection campaign by torpedoing Chinese imports. In an April 17 speech in Pittsburgh, the symbolic heart of the steel industry, Biden announced that he asked his US trade representative to triple tariffs on Chinese steel and aluminum imports. The tariffs are currently roughly 7.5 percent. A White House press release proclaimed, “President Biden knows that steel is the backbone of the American economy, and a bedrock of our national security.” Biden’s edict is fresh proof that on trade policy, American politicians have learned nothing and forgotten nothing. Did Biden vow to leave no boneheaded policy behind? Remember Donald Trump’s knuckleheaded 2018 assertion that “trade wars are good, and easy to win”? When Trump imposed a 25 percent tariff on steel imports in 2018, he was widely criticized for subverting the health of American manufacturing to cater to a single lagging industry. But Biden perpetuated that Trump boondoggle. The Washington Post noted in 2021, “One of Trump’s most controversial trade initiatives, which angered U.S. allies and drew scorn from many economists, has become a plank in Biden’s ‘worker-centered’ trade policy.” There are 135,000 steel workers in the United States compared to more than six million workers in steel-using industries. Politicians and bureaucrats pretend that the latter number doesn’t exist. The Post observed that “the Biden administration is determined to retain support from the United Steelworkers, a force in key states in the industrial Midwest.” The tariffs became increasingly destructive. The price of hot-rolled steel rose more than 300 percent, and manufacturers complained of material shortages, rising prices, and delivery delays.

But Trump-flavored totalitarianism will clearly be less unpleasant than Biden-flavored totalitarianism is.

I never thought that. Policy-wise, he's totally untenable. We weren't talking about business as usual listen to the platforms and try to guess which will do fewer dumb things election year thinking. We were talking monkey wrenches. If he's half what he appears to be he will be too busy trying to oust the swamp gators before they kill him. Literally. Monkey wrench, dude. Does that D.C. Machine need a monkey wrench in it or not? I'm sick of business as usual thinking. Business as usual is very obviously a thing of the past. If we need a revolution, we had better have it now. And we won't without a spark. They have a plan for us. A dastardly plan, a conspiracy. You can't be naive enough to think otherwise. He Who Must Not Be Named II obviously isn't that plan. So, us rallying around him isn't their plan. That means he just might be the spark we need to blow up their 3D chess endgame. Policy. He won't enact any policy. They will fight his every attempt to enact any policy, tooth and nail. The only two questions I have at this point are, does he have enough name recognition to overcome the fact that his political party (if any) has no name recognition at all? And can we count on him to be a solid monkey wrench in their machine?

With the amount that was spent by the drunken NY Lib Trump (D), and now Biden (D), what difference does it make? Neither one of them are talking about the corruption that RFK is. Hopefully awareness will continue to spread. I'm not voting, but how much worse can RFK really be than the two prior democrats Trump and Biden?

It's implausible at 50/50. Get real. After what we've seen we tend to overestimate the amount of pure bull the American public will swallow. We had to watch the American public lap up one hell of a lot of pure mendacity to believe it. And they have certainly seen the same thing. I can't imagine how often the powers that be and their minions have said, "They bought that!?!" They're trying to get The Right -- you know, the people with the guns -- to beg for totalitarianism. They stole the election from him and they jailed and are jailing people who complained about it. If The Right is going to be stirred off their asses at all, much less demand that they be allowed to burn the Constitution they think they revere, the Second Steal must be beyond obvious. They have to rub our noses in the doggie doo to prevent people from being able to go into denial about it. So, the Clown Biden Administration must do literally everything wrong, very wrong, and in a big way. He must alienate all the independent voters and many Democrats. And they're doing it. They're working at it and they're doing it. Hell, I've met certifiably insane people who can't stand no more. Biden's not really even in the ballpark.

Plausibility is all that matters. If they can find ways to make their polls seem close enough, there is zero chance Trump has to win. They picked the "winner" last time when Trump had control of the Executive branch - there's no way they'll select him when he doesn't. The only chance Trump has is to overwhelm the perception so that the American public will find his loss implausible. Doesn't look like we're seeing much "winning" from his side.

It isn't confusion. It's projection. He's projecting Kennedy's actions on Trump and Trump's record on Kennedy. It's also called "gaslighting", at least when someone good at it does it. This doesn't rise to that level, though.

I would add race to the list of correlations. It's the attitudes and behaviors that matter. And you generally learn those from a father (or in some cases, a strong mother who can act as a father figure). If you have neither, your odds of adopting harmful attitudes and behaviors go WAY up. And the correlations persist.

I know you mean well, but I'd appreciate it if you would avoid engaging people like Sola in this thread who are clearly only there to be rude and derail. Perhaps take it to PMs or another thread. Thanks! ~hugs~
