Ho mo Superior****-superior/ by Steve Sailer November 07, 2018 Bohemian Rhapsody is a crowd-pleasing biopic about the life and sadly early death of Queen’s singer Freddie Mercury (1946–1991) that subversively depicts the roots of the AIDS epidemic. Rather than portray Mercury in the now-traditional manner—as a martyr to Ronald and Nancy Reagan’s homophobia—the film instead reflects his straight bandmates’ view of him as a vast talent who was allowed to ruin his health by the debauchery of the Gay Liberation era that never denied him whatever self-indulgence he craved.

Shooters know that law enforcement will soon be there with weapons- even if it is a "gun free zone". Does the threat of guns prevent them? Again, has a shooter ever claimed to use "gun free" as a major factor in their choice of targets? In most cases they chose targets because of some disagreement with somebody there- not because they felt there was no risk of getting shot back at. Many seemed to want to be killed. The Vegas shooter didn't seem to have any dispute with the concert goers but was concerned about somebody having another gun so he barricaded his room to prevent them from getting in. Do "gun free zones" attract shooters? What percent of "gun free zones" have experienced a mass shooting? It is thankfully a rare event.

The Saddest Election Ever by David Cole November 20, 2018 Never in my life have I seen such a parade of gloomy faces following a midterm. In the aftermath of most elections, you’ll have the elated victors and the despondent losers. But what makes the 2018 midterms so unique is that everyone, left and right, is moping around with faces so long, Rondo Hatton’s estate is suing for trademark violation.

What is shows, amigo, is that mass shootings overwhelmingly happen in places where people cannot defend themselves. It shows, that if there were less places like that, then the likelihood of mass shootings would decrease: either because of the deterrent factor, or simply by virtue of a good guy with a gun stopping the bad guy with a gun before they have a chance to rack up a large body count.

Is that why they chose those targets? Or did they choose targets where there were the largest number of people (or somebody at that location they had a beef with)? Is there any example of a shooter who said he chose location because it was a gun free zone? If we use their figures and leave off the 70% in private homes, 43% of cases they looked at were in "gun free zones".

Today, 03:05 PM If both kickers had not missed one extra point in the first half, it could have been the second highest scoring game ever. Over 1000 combined yards for both teams.

As much as it pains me to admit it, Rev3 is right. He's also right here. I probably would shoot him. :)

Fried cornbread and pecan pie I'm cooking for Thanksgivings (I have one tomorrow and one Thursday) and day drinking so I figured the men would be cool with fried cornbread and pecan pie for dinner. I also have a bimbo from work texting me that she really really really really really needs to be off tonight and it would be super cool if I covered her shift. I responded with, "Can't, I'm drunk." The best part was, she texted me at 10 am.:tears: I wasn't really drunk at 10am but I was pretty sure I was gonna be by 5pm.

Ya, a direct democracy would be boring. It's much better to vote for the people who vote for the people who vote for President. Way more voting that way

The simplest way for China to out tariff the US is to stop loaning the US the money we use to purchase their goods, they have enormous power to dump USD fiat, dump US bonds, and cease financing the US deficit. It would cripple their exports, yes... however it would also effectively bankrupt the US and end the dollar hegemony as reserve currency. Every year they buy our bonds and trillions are added to our deficit it is like a bow being further pulled back with a financial dooms day tipped arrow upon us. IMO tariffs are an act of war. I feel the same way about sales tax and speeding tickets tho... so take it as you will.

I know you mean well, but I'd appreciate it if you would avoid engaging people like Sola in this thread who are clearly only there to be rude and derail. Perhaps take it to PMs or another thread. Thanks! ~hugs~
