I'm skeptical of the "this is just routine" explanation. They came down on the "insurrectionists" with both feet, as hard as they could - and the "QAnon Shaman" in particular was by far the most prominent of such cases. The notion that they have no concern at all for the optics of the matter seems absurd. They may have been worried that Chansley's lawyer's claim that relevant footage from the J6 tapes this thread] had been withheld from Chansley's defense might gain some traction, and that it might result in some kind of remedy (despite Chansley's "guilty" plea). By letting him out now, they "save face" (despite their disclaimers that that's not what they are trying to do), and significantly reduce Chansley's motivation to pursue any further remedies (which would bring even more attention and publicity to the matter, and could easily end up making them look even worse - even if Chansley lost any such bid).

It's a start, but not nearly good enough. Total expungement of all records of his arrest, trial and imprisonment, damages paid for time and suffering, and immediate release and dropping of charges of everybody else.

As the system unravels, incompetent diversity hires start to fill critical roles that the qualified and competent have abandoned or "Gone Galt" over, the center does not hold and the whole thing falls apart. 50 or 60 million third world invaders, where this sort of daily incompetence and lackadaisical work ethic are regarded as normal, adds to the decline. And then you have a whole army of Marxist wreckers who are deliberately trying to tear the system down. I'm surprised things are not much worse, to be honest.

If it can be confirmed that shoes are, in fact, different, that proves nothing really. There were times she was out of camera view, maybe she changed or adjusted them for whatever reason. Why in the world would the system set up such an elaborate hoax, only to damage their own narrative and goals?

I was afraid of that, when we had heard no updates or news. I regret, to this day, not taking the time to meet up with Pete when we were both up on northern lake Michigan. Word to the wise, people...do not pass those chances up. Friends, family, loved ones...see them when you have the opportunity. Tomorrow may be too late. Travel easy my brother, and we'll meet on God's golden shore directly...

Oh right... kind of like how the PATRIOT ACT only allowed spying on Americans communicating with foreigners...

I carried a team of geologists offshore in the GoM from Texas A and M and WHOI and Exxon to study some offshore wells back in the 90s. They found the same thing. Maybe it's abiotic, maybe it is biological, but just continuously ongoing, which makes sense, plants and animals continue to live and die both in the oceans and on land.

This is terrible news. Pete will certainly be - and has been - missed around here. :sorrow: I've started a memorial thread in the Remembrance forum: Pete Osmar memorial thread I copied over your previous post (and ClaytonB's reply). Condolences and updates for donations/offerings/etc. can be posted there.

So people have passed here before... I know there have been efforts to help out but I'm not sure what the mechanics are. Anyone with experience setting something up? I don't want to just ask her for her address. ;)

Hello all. Not sure if there's another thread on this. Pete's wife let me know on Facebook that he passed on March 9. They lived with her daughter and her husband so she's being looked after. But she has a broken heart. I'm going to ask if there's any way we can help.
