human trafficking is illegal. Don't sue them.... ARREST THEM. There are also laws against facilitating illegal entry to our country and laws against helping illegal aliens evade law enforcement.

I recently purchased a home and negotiated a mortgage from a large bank. Did the bank just accept what the seller said the value of the home was? No of course not, the bank ordered their own appraisal and made me pay for it. If the appraisal came in significantly less than what the seller valued the home at, can I sue the seller for fraud??? No, I can't. This is done every day in the real estate business, and there are always different opinions on a property's value. Any bank that just accepts a stated value, failed to do their due diligence. Trump was negotiating loans from the largest banks in the world, these banks testified they simply accepted the stated values provided by Trump, they didn't order their own appraisals, that is their fault, not his. And apparently, they didn't even ask for copies of appraisals done by the Trump Org. They testified they were not harmed and simply gave high net worth individuals a 50% haircut before evaluating risk and loan terms. They didn't care about the "appraised value" of the properties. Alternatively, if the appraisal came in at $150k, but the seller lists the property for sale at $200k, is that fraud?? NO! I recently sold an old car as a trade in to a dealership, the dealer initially offered me $500, i thought that was too low so I declined. They came back and offered me $1000. I liked that better and was inclined to accepted but wanted to browse around different dealerships. Then they offered me $1500, which I thought was much higher than it was actually worth since I knew it had engine problems, so I accepted their offer. Since they paid me more than it was worth is that fraud??? NO!

Valued by who??? The prosecution just made up those numbers what the "actual" valuations should be and the Judge accepted them and barred the defense from presenting evidence disputing the valuations the prosecution used.

Again, net worth is a highly subjective estimation. The bank representatives testified that they routinely gave high net worth individuals a 50% haircut to their stated net worth before evaluating loan terms and conditions. The suggestion that this was unfair and impacted others in the market for loans is really ridiculous, when you can't name a single victim. Trump received favorable loan terms not because of his highly subjective stated net worth, but because he was an incredibly sought after individual that all the biggest banks in the world competed to earn his business because it was known to be low risk and lucratively profitable at the same time. How you can endorse the state seizing such a fine, and openly support it on this liberty forum, is shameful, just because you hate trump.

Here's what the house should do, call up the Bill and amend it with provisions from the house HR2 border Bill, then send it back to the Senate and shit on them when they don't pass it.

The trial will be something, gets the Senate Dems on record as supporting the invasion. All the evidence will be laid out to the American people and the Dems lose control of the Senate next election.

So sickening. Every time Trump said, "they spied on my campaign", the "press" went apocalyptic and "fact checked" him and said it wasn't true. It was true and Trump ordered it declassified but the deep state continued to obstruct. They are guilty of treason and must be held accountable. It's this kind of shit that makes me and millions of Americans want scorched earth retribution.

Has to have a trial in the senate, which won't pass so he keeps his job. But at least the GOP did something more than a strongly worded letter for once. He must be held accountable, he's in violation of the law and lied to congress, Senate should convict but they won't. Next step is to take away his salary and strip his department of funding for non-essential operations.

The questions could have been better. I'm still left wondering what the hell Putin wants with Ukraine in order to end the war? Can Ukraine join Nato in exchange for peace or is that out of the question. Can the western regions annexed by Russia rejoin Ukraine in exchange for peace? We really didn't get a glimpse into any of that unfortunately.

An intriguing fact of the matter is that after the fall of the USSR, why is Russia our enemy or a threat???? His answer was multiple presidents wanted closer relations, but the CIA didn't and continued escalating, preventing normal relations. I didn't like his history lesson, made it sound like he himself was like Hitler i.e. "these lands were never a country and were always part of Russia", similar reasoning to Hitler's aggressive territory expansions. I mean the history is important, but I think that shouldn't be a primary reason for the conflict. He should have focused more on the 2014 coup in Ukraine and attacks on Russian people.

Just look at the photo of the 3 judges, and you understand what happened with their ruling. And 2 were appointed by Biden. Either way doesn't matter to me, if no immunity, where is the prosecution for Obama's extrajudicial killings of American citizens. Oh, he probably left no family members alive to complain and lodge a case against him. Every former president is a war criminal, where is their prosecution? The argument for immunity would be government stability over selective prosecution depending on which party remains in power.

imagine if Kevin McCarty was still House speaker... he would be championing this bill just like McConnell and strong arming Republicans to fall in line and it would get passed. Mike Johnson is an upgrade, that is for sure. Mike Lee has called for new leadership in the senate and to overthrow McConnell. Where's Rand??

I watched the clip. He said if the EU is in for $20B, then the US should only be in for $20, but instead we are in for $200B+ and that is "stupid". If he were to force the EU to contribute more, they would be more inclined to a peace deal. As long as the USA is paying the vast majority of the cost, they have no incentive to resolve the dispute. He is saying that changes with his administration and we will not be taken advantage of. That will immediately change the calculation and bring Ukraine to peace talks.

A fascinating point made by Brett is that the Chinese did not give their population MRNA shots and also lied about everything about COVID from the Jump. Well neither did Russia. And the current phase is they are sending thousands of their military age males into the West, while Russia distracts in Ukraine and Iran in the middle east. Question, if there was a written plan to destroy the west, what would it look like? Seems like the plan is being followed, and the next phase is really terrifying.

He gave a taped deposition so he did testify. Any law that allows such a conviction with no witnesses and no evidence is anti-liberty and a threat to all.
