If you think that the Jews who came post WW II were not helped by the Jews that were already here than you really aren't very bright. And it's not "secret" money. It's a part of the Jewish religion that one must lend to a fellow Jew in need without interest. Now some Jews are atheists (Ayn Rand was) but she was still considered Jewish and still had access to connections to money. Edit: And to crush your "Ayn Rand came here with nothing and pulled herself up by her bootstraps" false narrative... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayn_Rand#Arrival_in_the_United_States Arrival in the United States In late 1925, Rand was granted a visa to visit relatives in Chicago. She departed on January 17, 1926. When she arrived in New York City on February 19, 1926, she was so impressed with the skyline of Manhattan that she cried what she later called "tears of splendor". Intent on staying in the United States to become a screenwriter, she lived for a few months with her relatives, one of whom owned a movie theater and allowed her to watch dozens of films free of charge. She then left for Hollywood, California. In Hollywood, a chance meeting with famed director Cecil B. DeMille led to work as an extra in his film The King of Kings and a subsequent job as a junior screenwriter. While working on The King of Kings, she met an aspiring young actor, Frank O'Connor; the two were married on April 15, 1929. She became a permanent American resident in July 1929 and an American citizen on March 3, 1931. Taking various jobs during the 1930s to support her writing, she worked for a time as the head of the costume department at RKO Studios. She made several attempts to bring her parents and sisters to the United States, but they were unable to acquire permission to emigrate.

Okay. UWDude is talking about the individual mandate that you have to buy health insurance whether you want it or not (something that was unprecedented) and familydog is talking about the mandate that insurance companies cover pre-existing conditions. (Mandates for what insurance companies have to do have been around a long time). The insurance companies wanted the individual mandate and as a tradeoff they were willing to take the pre-existing condition mandate. Of course everybody likes the idea that they can get coverage no matter what, and far fewer people want to be told what they have to buy. So....

The money you will be taking from younger workers when you draw social security? Oh I'm sorry. You don't care when you pick pockets. As for where Trump will get the 50 billion ask him. He's YOUR president. YOU voted for him, not me. I suspect it will come from the same place the 3 trillion he and his republican and democratic allies pulled out their ass to give to their friends. Don't project your anger that you should have at Trump at me. Admit you fvcked up. It's okay.

We've never had "capitalism" then because free money and free land have been given to European immigrants repeatedly. Actually blacks are statistically more likely to start businesses than whites. But have been historically and systematically denied access to credit. So now you've shifted from Jews to Vietnamese? I tell you what. Tell me how many Vietnamese-American communities have been ethnically cleansed by white mobs and get back with me.

Oh STFU already! I am not Donald Trump moron! This is no my plan! And furthermore extending credit to people who have been systematically denied it unjustly for generations is not "picking someone's pockets." When you turn 65 (if you aren't already) you'll be "picking pockets" through social security. That's why I said in this thread it should be privatized. But again, this is the asshat that YOU voted for that has made the 500 billion proposal (really only 50 billion in federal money...the rest is to come from private institutions), so be mad at him instead of attacking me. Oh, but you can't do that because you were so stupid that you thought he was "King David" when he was falsely accusing Ted Cruse of adultery even after he had admitted to being a repeated adulterer himself. Yeah, I didn't forget your stupidity. If you're mad, go burn your Trump posters and quit kissing his ass.

Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong! Her whole point is that you can't have capitalism without capital. America has never been a free market. She is advocating using the banking system that already exists for inner city investment. Black capitalism hasn't worked because the capitalist system in the United States has been skewed and corrupted. Now, care to explain why you think the middle ages happened 2000 years ago? Edit: Also did you catch what she said about how Durham NC turned out differently than Tulsa Oklahoma? If you didn't, then you didn't watch the video. If you did then you know that she felt black capitalism work in one of the town because they were smart enough not to inflame white jealousy which lead to a white mob ethnically cleansing the black area in the other town.

Not "free ownership" but an actual shot at ownership. How about a return of the land stolen from blacks after slavery ended? Oh yeah, you won't talk about that. Also the plan didn't say "School vouchers just for blacks." Trump talked about vouchers at the 2020 SOTU address. They would be available to children in failing schools. Most of those schools happen to be zoned for black neighborhoods. And no, the schools aren't failing because of the black students. They are failing because of the teacher's unions. Where I live the inner city public schools suck. But those same children going to charter schools and magnet schools excel. My cousin, who is a retired middle school principle from another city, had the only school in her district that wasn't a magnet school that was performing up to standards. That means it can be done if the teachers and the administration actually care. But I agree with your point that Trump is basically a liberal. I've been saying that since he got elected (maybe even before) but most folks didn't want to believe me. Oh well. The joke's on y'all. His bumpfire stock ban by executive order and his floating of red flag laws and flirting with Diane Feinstein about an assault weapons ban should have told you everything you needed to know. I didn't know about the attempt on Assad. I'll have to look that one up. I agree with what you said about the Solemani assassination being bad and that Putin helped defeat ISIS. I'm going to sound like a Trump apologist for saying this, but things on that front would have certainly been worse under Hillary. But I agree that bringing us close to war with Iran was unacceptable.

You know what would be nice? An actual free market. But we don't have that. I don't know if America has ever had a free market, but it certainly has not had one since the New Deal. The 14th Amendment has been violated every day since it's been written. Hey, how about privatizing Social Security so that black men, who on average die at age 66 as opposed to age 73 like white men, can pass the money they aren't going to get because their dead on to their children? Oh....but you can't do that cause of the AARP. Or how about just going back to Tulsa Oklahoma, Forsythe County Georgia and countless other places where blacks who had built their own towns independently, the "separation" Anti Federalist seems to want so much, and give their descendants their land back? Hell, apparently half of Oklahoma is really an Indian reservation. Anyway, thanks for the link. Trump threw something in the plan for you too. IMMIGRATION POLICY THAT PROTECTS AMERICAN JOBS LOL @ the whole clusterfvck. Don't blame me. I'm voting for Jo Jorgenson!

SMH Can you not read? I'm not the one here complaining! Opportunity zones are one of the few things I LIKE about Trump. But thanks for letting me know it was Rand's idea. Actually though, I'm pretty sure the late Jack Kemp came up with the idea long before Rand even thought about getting into politics.

You've got it kind of backwards my friend. Blacks once had high marriage rates just like whites. As Tony Brown of "Tony Brown's Journal" fame used to say, blacks are the canary in the coalmine. What happens to us ultimately happens to the larger community. For example blacks were suffering from the drug war before whites got caught up in the crystal meth and opioid crises.

So you believe that the banking system set up in the middle ages just disappeared? Have you never heard of the Rothchilds? And just because Ludwig Von Mises and Ayn Rand may have arrived with nothing doesn't mean they didn't have access to others who did have means. Edit: And the middle ages weren't "2000 years ago." But you seem to be fact challenged in general.

I wish things were a lot more local too. I'm really not looking for a country of 300 million at all. I think that's too big. Those who didn't want to live by Christian law could live somewhere else and choose God's judgment over his blessings.

And while I do believe the BIble requires civil authorities to punish homosexuality, and with death as the maximum penalty, I don't think it would be legitimate even for the government to just round up people in a gay bar.

  8. Sorry, but you have failed. That verse does not contain the words "Grace is irresistible." You can interpret it that way, but that's not what the verse says. You had to admit there was "relational language" in the Bible. Yet you have stuck to your guns that there isn't a verse that says "Have a relationship with Jesus." Likewise there is no verse that says "Grace is irresistible." If you were honest you would simply admit that. But you aren't honest.
