Are you sure this wasn't covered in the 100 billion allocated for healthcare in the 2 trillion dollar boondoggle? https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2020/03/27/822666582/whats-in-the-2-trillion-bill-for-health-care I'm asking....because I honestly don't know. Actually....seems it wasn't included. Jen Kates of the Kaiser Family Foundation says one thing that's missing is consideration of all the treatment costs that patients might face as more and more Americans get the coronavirus. Patients could still be stuck with paying their full high deductibles or even face surprise bills after being hospitalized.

Reported for asking you to actually answer a question that you are hiding from? LOL. Answer the question. What does anything you wrote have to do with Trump almost scuttling the GM ventilator deal? If you're scared to answer that question, just say so.

That would be a good thing. I wish you would ignore the entire forum. All you add is noise. Trump's FDA appointee called for the public wearing masks when the CDC said no. Then the CDC reversed itself. So, by your "logic", Trump wants to arrest and beat people for not wearing masks. WTF?

Universal testing exists just not in America and Trump didn't even make it a priority in his 2 trillion dollar bill that Massie bravely stood up against. Where universal testing has been use along with widespread use of masks is has been shown to stop the virus. People might get their $1,200 check (which by the way hasn't come yet) but they are not staying at home. That goes against human nature. And again WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT TRUMP ALMOST SCUTTLED THE VENTILATOR DEAL? Quit dodging the question coward.

So don't tell everyone to wear masks EVEN THOUGH THE CDC NOW IS TELLING EVERYONE TO WEAR MASKS because Taiwan may have done something objectionable ALL THE WHILE THE U.S. IS DOING A LOT OF OBJECTIONABLE SHYT LIKE ARRESTING PASTORS FOR HAVING CHURCH? Really? That....that's your argument? I didn't even MENTION China. China is already a police state. We are becoming China while not taking sensible measures that don't restrict civil liberties Unproven conspiracy theory. Even if that were true, ultraviolet light kills the virus. But hey, your Trump Delusion Syndrome forced you to come up with an excuse for idiocy even after Trump has moved on from it. Also when the CDC, a private organization, was saying don't wear masks, Trump's FDA appointee was saying wear masks. So I guess that means Trump is deep state trying to infect all of America with Chinese contaminated masks.

You are really not bright. I made a post about ventilators and Trump almost scuttling a deal and then you talked about testing. That said the universal testing on the new virus is happening in other countries, just not hear. How much of the 2 trillion bill Trump signed was for testing? Answer...only a small percentage. Trump hasn't even made a statement that he WANTS universal testing. But again, that had NOTHING to do with the post you were responding to. Sometimes I wonder if you are a bot. Or maybe you are the chicken in your AV and you are just pecking on a keyboard.

Ventilators are NOT "new technology." Like I said, private industry was already stepping up to the plate before the bill was even announced and Trump almost scuttled the ventilator deal with GM over costs. Sometimes you just say random shyt that doesn't even address the post to which you are responding. It's just irritating.

I watched it. I'm not a Trump fan, but I don't see this in the same light you are. The care was described as "disease specific." If we are really trying to stop this thing from spreading then everyone needs to be tested and those who have the virus need to be quarantined. That quarantine needs to include treatment. If some homeless person has the virus and is never tested or he is tested and tests positive but is just released to go roam the streets then other people risk getting infected. Unless I'm missing something, it doesn't sound like this will be an ongoing program.

I get it. Bribe people with a $1,200 check, pass a 2 trillion dollar pork filled "stimulus" package, attack the only member of congress willing to stand up against the financial rape of our future generations because you want to win "hearts and minds" all the while NOT doing universal testing. Got it.

I've been watching Jimmy Dore for over a year now, not because I agree with his politics, but because I enjoy his exposure of establishment and "progressive" Democrats. The same tactics used by Republicans to keep third-party ideas out of the mainstream are the same ones used by Democrats. Jimmy Dore exposes those on his side in some funny but shocking ways, and I'm there for those liberal tears. :hotdrink:

Let's be real, this latest implied move of aggression by the Trump administration, towards a sovereign nation, is all about the oil. Russia after all, effectively nullified Trump's Venezuela sanctions against oil company Rosnet, by transferring the Rosnet oil company assets in Venezuela to a company fully owned by the Russian government (Ron points this out). Looks like Putin plays 3d chess also.

According to Page 781 of the CARES Act, $25,000,000 is reserved to the House for "Salaries and Expenses," which equates to a pay increase of over $57K to each member. Some apologists for the act have tried to explain away the pay increase by saying that the $25M is towards efforts for dealing with COVID-19; however, in the clause where it says that, it also mentions that $5,000,000 will be used towards that end. To me, the language says that the House gets $25M for pay increases and an additional $5M to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic.

I wish things were a lot more local too. I'm really not looking for a country of 300 million at all. I think that's too big. Those who didn't want to live by Christian law could live somewhere else and choose God's judgment over his blessings.

And while I do believe the BIble requires civil authorities to punish homosexuality, and with death as the maximum penalty, I don't think it would be legitimate even for the government to just round up people in a gay bar.

  8. Sorry, but you have failed. That verse does not contain the words "Grace is irresistible." You can interpret it that way, but that's not what the verse says. You had to admit there was "relational language" in the Bible. Yet you have stuck to your guns that there isn't a verse that says "Have a relationship with Jesus." Likewise there is no verse that says "Grace is irresistible." If you were honest you would simply admit that. But you aren't honest.
