    The chief points out that the firearm is purposefully put on the dominant side and the taser is put on the opposite side specifically to prevent this kind of accident from happening. And yet....it happened. Reckless homicide in my book. Even if she gets off, she should be forever barred from being a police officer. And maybe Tasers should be painted a different color?

    You're talking about Tamir Rice? The "Karen" who called in (she sounded white by her voice...I know that might make be racist), said he had a real gun or a BB-gun. The 911 dispatcher (a black woman) called it in as an active shooter. Why the police killed Tamir Rice, I pin the murder on the 911 operator. But....that's just me.

    I asked a cop I know how that could possibly be an accident. He said it was virtually impossible. Then we have Amber Guyger who "mistook" someone else's apartment as her own and shot the the actual resident as an intruder. The only person I know to that kind of mistake (going to the wrong hotel room) was later arrested for public drunkenness.

    Simple solution to the immigration "problem." Robust guest worker program with no path to citizenship. You have to periodically return to your home country to keep participating. If you have a kid in the U.S., you're kicked out of the program and you are deported. Drive intoxicated, without a license or without insurance, you get kicked out of the program. Commit a crime? You get kicked out of the program. Come in without following the proper channels? You get fingerprinted so ICE can make sure you're blocked from the program. China has all sorts of immigrants working in their country but they aren't on a pathway to citizenship.

    You know what's really funny about ^this? Players taking a knee wasn't widespread until Trump said the NFL should fire players for taking a knee. Either Trump is really stupid...or he's working against the interests of many of his own supporters. Edit: Also the NFL was already losing viewership prior to the widespread "taking of the knee." And at the time blacks were threatening a boycott for the perceived blackballing of Kaepernick.

    LOL. At the very least I think he's paid for sex. When he was on Tucker Carlson trying to get Tucker to remember the woman he was dating then going on to day "There's nothing wrong with paying for flights and hotel rooms for someone you're dating" when Tucker hadn't even brought that up (and Tucker made it clear he didn't remember the woman), that was questionable. That said, I don't think the voluntary exchange of money for services (no pun intended) should be illegal. It's the black market aspect of prostitution that makes it dangerous.

    Except Rand didn't keep his mouth shut. He said there were election irregularities that needed to be fixed. Swordy just wanted Rand to commit political suicide for a lost cause that Trump didn't even devote all of his post election fundraising for fighting. Oh I'm happy with the First Step Act, increased funding for HBCUs, and his reparations proposal (the Platinum Plan) had promise. I'm happy he didn't start a new war. Not happy with his proposing red flags laws or doing gun control by executive order. Not happy about grabbing the Syrian oil. Not happy with siding with Israel's interests by scuttling the Iran nuke deal.

    The white man who killed 2 blacks and 2 Hispanics at the Waffle House in Nashville never even went to trial because he was deemed mentally unfit. The law did what it was supposed to do in that case which is to protect the mentally unfit. In this case the law is meant to protect minors from the full effect of their stupid actions. I doubt if these had been white kids and the victim black (as opposed to brown as was in this case) that the results would have been any different. Contrary to the false narrative being put out by some "conservatives", these teens are most likely going to be incarcerated for years. They just won't be incarcerated in an adult facility. And that's what typically happens to white kids, even those who plead guilty to mass shootings.

Here's Fox News: https://video.foxnews.com/v/6247078598001#sp=show-clips Interestingly enough, Benard Kerick points out on Fox that the 13 y/o couldn't be charged as an adult but the 15 y/o could have been. The Fox News commentator makes a big deal out of the "no prison time" aspect. I'm not sure how many of these media talking heads have actually visited a juvenile detention facility. And I don't know what the DC juvenile detention facilities are like. But in Tennessee a juvenile offender could end up somewhere like....

    Edit: This whole thread is based on a false narrative. The OP article got the plea deal wrong. The girls, since they are charged as juveniles, face involuntary commitment at a juvenile facility up to the age of 21.

    I was pointing out that 18 is the magic number. The white street racer who got hard time at 18 is in the same category as the black woman street racer who is facing hard time as both are over 18. If Matt Gaetz did get with a 17 year old he as under the magic number. That said, apparently his buddy, that took $900 from Matt and distributed to 3 different women under dubious circumstances, has pleaded to trafficking of a woman under 18. Same woman? Seems quite possible at this point.

    LOL. I will say this and leave it. I typically see food trucks parked outside the "no campaign materials past this point" limit at voting time and they give away free fish plates and BBQ. I've picked up a plate from time to time. It had no effect on my vote. I'm sorry, but I just don't see the case that somehow my vote could be swayed it I got a bottle of water closer to the voting booth. As long as nobody is in the booth with me they don't know what my vote is. But maybe I'm just special.

    Sorry, but you have failed. That verse does not contain the words "Grace is irresistible." You can interpret it that way, but that's not what the verse says. You had to admit there was "relational language" in the Bible. Yet you have stuck to your guns that there isn't a verse that says "Have a relationship with Jesus." Likewise there is no verse that says "Grace is irresistible." If you were honest you would simply admit that. But you aren't honest.
