No. But it would have been helpful as part of his impeachment trial. Why did he make that public statement now? Could it be that he's trying to rehabilitate his image? Yeah. That was aimed at BLM unrest. But here's the other thing. If he was so certain that there was going to be trouble in D.C. he could have cancelled his rally or moved it to a different city.

Shrug all you want. Do you have any evidence that Trump made any public statement prior to March 1 about calling for the National Guard? Surely that would have been helpful for his impeachment trial. Your reason why it didn't come up then is what exactly?

You must have missed this as I edited. Edit: And in the Nationl Review article, Shapiro, while claiming to want to see somebody "do something", has nothing to say about what should be done about police brutality. It's all "Black people should commit less crimes." Okay. That's why when I talk about police brutality I also talk about when it hapens to white people! Kelly Thomas. The white kid (I can't remember his name) who flashed his high beams at a cop and ended up dead. The white guy who was playing video games and the police shot him because they thought his Wii controller was a gun. The white guy who's neighbor SWATTED because he didn't like how loud his video game was and he answered the door holding a gun, then immediately put it down when he saw it was the police and was shot in the back by another officer. It's a long list. There's a whole thread on this. As for your two points, the "it's an isolated incident" is the reason he was bothered by Obama's outrage. Obama shouldn't have been making such a fuss over an "isolated incident" that's a "rounding error." Yeah...Ben Shapiro would have been against the American Revolution too. Boston Massacre? Nothing to see here. Isolated incident.

That quote must be from the Tweet you posted that didn't come through as it's not in the National Review article that talks about the "isolated incident." Most of Shapiro's outrage seems aimed at Obama for daring to be outraged about what happened to Castile. And what are your stats, since you supposedly keep up with this, on how many are killed by other methods? Hint, Google "spit sock" deaths. Not according to the autopsy report which showed a partial crushed larnyx. The cops that beat Kelly Thomas to death said, right before they started beating him "We're going to fvck you up." What would you call that exactly? Oh yeah...and they got off.

Okay. But I can't control who other people call or don't call phony. Again my point is about the false narrative that has people thinking they shouldn't worry about police brutality because it can't happen to them or their loved ones. There should be blowback in the black and the white community directed at the people responsible! Again, Kelly Thomas was white.

But this article shows he ultimately didn't support Castille. https://www.nationalreview.com/2016/07/black-lives-matter-obama-statement-police-shootings-not-helpful/ I can't read this article by Shapiro because it's behind a paywall, but the part I can read doesn't seem supportive either. https://www.dailywire.com/news/alton-sterling-and-philando-castile-cases-why-cant-ben-shapiro The Blaze made a big deal that "even the black jurors" were in favor of acquital of Castile's killer.

With all due respect, I called out phony conservatives and phony liberals. If you aren't phony the shoe doesn't fit so why wear it? I don't put Ron or Rand Paul in the "phony" conservative bunch. I put Biden in the "phony liberal" category. But Trump shot himself in the foot when he told Bob Woodward that he downplayed COVID-19 because he didn't want to "cause a panic." There is no way to dress that up. And I'm not telling you to do that. I'm talking about how everyone is getting manipulated by the phonies. Tell me this. Does it bother you that Kelly Thomas getting beat to death got no national coverage? It bothers me.

For the record George Floyd wasn't shot so he wouldn't have even shown up in the database you're citing and yet he is the most famous police death ever. Eric Garner also wasn't shot. Kelly Thomas (white) wasn't shot. And who said anything about marching? I haven't. Straw man argument on your part. The black kid who had his hands up shouldn't have been shot. Kelly Thomas shouldn't have been beat to death. The white kid who flashed his high beams at a police officer shouldn't have been pulled over, there shouldn't have been an arrest attempt, he shouldn' t have been tased and he shouldn't have been shot. I suppose in 1775 you'd have called the Boston Massacre a "rounding error" and insisted that there be no American revolution too.

LOL. First I doubt it actually happened. Trump had plenty of time between Jan 1 and March 1 to make a public statement in support of the National Guard. Second, it undercuts the "They were just going into the capital to peacefully register their complaint about the election and there were a few bad apples" narrative being put forward in support of the Trump supporters, many of whom were shown the way in by police. But go ahead and try to spin it.

And ^that's the way it should be handled. Needless deaths by police, even if the victims aren't "neurosurgeons", should result in changes in policy. The cop that choked Eric Garner to death in Democrat run New York when a black democrat was POTUS didn't get fired until last year. And yes, Mayor Lightford should be driven from office on a rail.

How many times is a gay nightclub shot up? How many times did we hear about it? How many times is there a school shooting? How many times do we hear about it? Your "logic" is ass-backwards. Rare events are much more newsworthy. And you have no idea what the rate actually is because you aren't keeping up with it precisely because those events aren't talked about.

How do you know they are "rare exceptions" when nobody talks about those cases? Nobody talked about Breonna Taylor either....until the police got their story straight about the alledged drug connection. Only when there is controversy is the case talked about. I bet you never heard about the case of the black man in Lebanon Tennessee that was gunned down by police who did a no knock raid on the wrong house. And no, he was never accused of drugs...which is why you never heard of the case. Then there was the Atlanta grandmother that the police planted drugs on after they killed her to try to cover it up. You don't hear about more cases of blacks with absolutely no criminality being killed by police because neither the phony conservative nor the phony liberal media wants you to hear about them. It's the same reason why there is this false perception that white people aren't getting killed by the police. Anti Federalist has a whole thread devoted to talking about whites killed by police under suspicious circumstances that doesn't get talked about. That includes the white kid who was coming home from a church basketball game, made the "mistake" of flashing his high beams at a cop because the cop had his high beams on, got pulled over, the cop tried to arrest him, then tazed him, then shot him. https://reason.com/2015/10/19/cop-pulls-teen-over-for-flashing-high-be/ The bottom line is this. Crap like this shouldn't happen. And you shouldn't have to be a brain surgeon or an aspiring brain surgeon for it to happen. With the cop who killed the white kid who flashed his high beams, his excuse is that the kid punched him after he tased the kid! Why are you tasing someone for flashing his high beams at you? Why are you even pulling someone over for flashing his high beams at you?

Kyle Rittenhouse, still holding his gun, was not shot by police even after shooting 3 people. And yes I think what Kyle did was self defense. And then there are the active shooters that have been taken alive by police. The boy was unarmed and had his hands up when he was shot. https://www.cnn.com/2021/04/15/us/adam-toledo-police-shooting-body-camera/index.html The 7 year old black girl who was shot and killed by police while she was sleeping might have grown up to be a neurosurgeon. But phony conservatives never talk about that case. Also Philando Castile didn't have a felony criminal record. If he did he wouldn't have had a gun permit. But phony conservatives are all "Well he had weed in the car so his killing was justified too."

^That is pretty retarded. All I've been hearing from CNN and the New York Times is how "diverse" the Derek Chauvin jury is. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/23/us/derek-chauvin-jury-seated.html The 12-member jury includes two white men, four white women, three Black men, one Black women and two women who identify as mixed race, according to information provided by the court. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/george-floyd-trial-jury-diverse-1.5962500 The jury that will decide the fate of Derek Chauvin, a white former Minneapolis police officer charged in George Floyd's death, is unusually diverse by local standards, and that's boosting activists' hopes for a rare conviction. The panel of 15 includes nine people who are white and six who are Black or multiracial, according to the court. If the court follows standard practice and the alternates are the last three chosen, the 12 who deliberate would be evenly split between white people and people of colour. Opening statements are to begin Monday.

Well here's another one for you. https://www.foxnews.com/us/maryland-trooper-shoots-kills-teen-who-had-airsoft-gun-and-knife-investigators-say LEONARDTOWN, Md. — A Maryland State Police trooper responding to a pair of 911 calls shot and killed a teenager who was pointing what investigators determined was an airsoft gun at him, authorities said Tuesday. The shooting occurred after state police received two 911 calls about someone acting suspicious, Superintendent Woodrow Jones II told a news conference. The first caller said he thought the person had a gun, left a telephone number but didn’t give an address before hanging up, Jones said. A second caller gave a street address for the suspicious person that was a short distance from the Leonardtown barracks, but the caller hung up before identifying themselves, Jones said.

Probably a combination of that plus the fact that they haven't fully milked the outrage from the latest taser "mistake" shooting. And I also have a theory. The more debateable a shooting is the more likely groups like BLM are to push it to the forefront. The victim must be black, and it's better for BLM if he or she has a criminal record and is resisting. Why? Because they are controlled opposition. Anti Federalist does a better job of remembering the names of some of the truly innocent black victims of police brutality than I do. I always have to look up this little girl. But note that the phony conservatives like Ben Shapiro and the Fox New "police defense squad" never talk about white victims of police brutality or the black victims who can't be character assasinated either. That's because they too are controlled opposition. They will push the narrative of "Why aren't people more outraged by the two black girls who carjacked the Pakastani man who ended up killed in the car crash after hanging on to the door as they drove down the street?" (Actually they never give that much detail because it's so much more effective to their angle to say "They car jacked and killed him.") The whole game, of the left and the right, is to get people mad at each other based on some type of identity politics. And that doesn't happen if a tradgedy brings us together. A Afghan Muslim guy shoots up a gay nightclub and tells the people (some gay) that he didn't shoot that the only reason he did the shooting was because he was angry about the war in Afghanistan? That part of the story gets left out. Instead the right focused on "Muslims hate gays worse than we do" and the left was like "Anti-gay Christian preachers made the Muslim do it." I put mistake in quotes because it was either gross negligence or intentional. Calling it a "mistake" minimizes the serious level of incompetence it took for that to happen.

  8. Sorry, but you have failed. That verse does not contain the words "Grace is irresistible." You can interpret it that way, but that's not what the verse says. You had to admit there was "relational language" in the Bible. Yet you have stuck to your guns that there isn't a verse that says "Have a relationship with Jesus." Likewise there is no verse that says "Grace is irresistible." If you were honest you would simply admit that. But you aren't honest.
