As would we all. The military option is the option of last resort. Unfortunately, we are nearing that point very quickly where it becomes the only resort. That is, if we want to keep the Republic like Franklin once said.

Are you not a Christian? Do you not believe Christ has sent the Holy Spirit into the world? Do you not believe that the Holy Spirit works within men? If you doubt the men, fine. But do not doubt the Holy Spirit working within them. God wins. And often times, through men.

Since Q is being mentioned... Here is one of Q’s earliest posts (Nov 2017), before the posts were even signed with “Q”: For those who have been following, this is going according to the plan. It had to be this way because unless the corruption is fully exposed, it cannot be fixed. Not when you are going against an entire corrupt system with such massive power and influence. The election was the greatest sting operation in our lifetime. DS actors, across many agencies and in both parties, in collusion with foreign enemies, caught in the act of destroying our nation not from invasion but from within.

This will not be settled in the federal courts. This will be settled by the military. It is the only way. The planning has been for a very long time. Everyone’s true colors are now showing and the battle lines are being drawn. God stands for those who stand for truth and justice, and God wins. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot comprehend it. Stand fast Patriots and pray.

Dear Mr. White: Thank you for contacting me regarding the 2020 General Election. I appreciate hearing from you, and I welcome the opportunity to respond. Let me first say that I could not be happier with the election of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris. Their election is the first step on the long path toward bridging the partisan divide that has grown over the past four years. I look forward to working with President Biden and Vice President Harris on an agenda that will benefit all Americans and reunify our country. I strongly condemn President Trump’s efforts to push states to stop counting legally cast ballots, his orders to senior government officials to block cooperation with the Biden transition team, and his attempts to use the courts to illegitimately overturn the results of the election. These actions are anti-democratic and dangerously irresponsible. The American people have spoken, and they expect President Trump to ensure a smooth transition to the Biden administration. Furthermore, I want to note that in the midst of a pandemic that continues to shake our nation, more than 150 million Americans cast ballots in the 2020 election. Many ballots were cast via early voting and absentee vote-by-mail. To date, there has been no verified evidence of widespread voter fraud associated with these ballots, only a partisan attempt to discount election results or disenfranchise thousands of voters, including military personnel and other Americans currently overseas. Instead, this election proved that measures like vote-by-mail are safe, secure, and critical to protecting everyone’s health.

None of that will matter. If they go to paper ballots and a party forges and injects enough votes to steal an election, the criminal will be declared victor, the loser shamed and it will be the losers burden to prove it while they are blacked out by the media and slandered. What difference would paper ballots make? Elections are engineered as well as the response to them.

China not mentioning the Virus before they did was not the issue. The mentioning of the virus and the pandemic that followed is. The problem is not the virus but rather the pandemic.

pronouns.... go ahead and report me again, OB, I'm going for the high score. I like to follow the Ron Paul example of not speaking in absolutes. So, if I ever have to work with Elliot or some person who has pronoun preferences, I will do my best to try to remember that. Not sure if I'll use the preferred pronouns or the accurate ones. We'll all find out when it happens. But I'm not ever going to use a plural pronoun as a substitute for a singular pronoun. I'm incapable of that. I have a liberal/Dem/progressive buddy who's on the same page with me there. it/ze?

You probably did jump in at the wrong time. :) I was initially arguing against the idea that a regressive income tax is somehow better than a tariff for...reasons. That said, there is a hidden cost to your ability to trade with someone across the ocean. That's the cost of the U.S. Navy. If the U.S. Navy quit protecting shipping lanes, either other countries would step up (and charge THEIR citizens the cost which would raise the cost of whatever it is you want to import), or merchant ships would have to arm themselves which would also raise the cost. would probably become cheaper. Remember that Tom Hanks movie about the captain that hijacked by Somali pirates because all he had was a flare gun? I wonder how much his rescue by Navy SEALS cost? One merchant machine armed with a 50 cal and with the proper training could have avoided the whole thing.

I wish things were a lot more local too. I'm really not looking for a country of 300 million at all. I think that's too big. Those who didn't want to live by Christian law could live somewhere else and choose God's judgment over his blessings.

And while I do believe the BIble requires civil authorities to punish homosexuality, and with death as the maximum penalty, I don't think it would be legitimate even for the government to just round up people in a gay bar.

My reasons on the bearing arms bit are much closer to yours (resistance against tyranny.)

  8. Sorry, but you have failed. That verse does not contain the words "Grace is irresistible." You can interpret it that way, but that's not what the verse says. You had to admit there was "relational language" in the Bible. Yet you have stuck to your guns that there isn't a verse that says "Have a relationship with Jesus." Likewise there is no verse that says "Grace is irresistible." If you were honest you would simply admit that. But you aren't honest.

    Acts 13:48

In the twilight of the Cold War, the United States spent millions of dollars to supply Afghan schoolchildren with textbooks filled with violent images and militant Islamic teachings, part of covert attempts to spur resistance to the Soviet occupation.
