Well, it IS just as important as Math or English... For politicians like him! What he was really saying is, "We need to program young minds so they can form the kind of society that will continually give people like me power."

CRT in schools is among the least of our problems. That guy will mandate the clot-shot for K-12 and parents will give it to their six year olds. I'll be sad for their kids and they'll be angry at me for not getting jabbed. Virginia is a slow-motion train wreck.

In a word, propaganda. I've got jabbed friends who are not afraid of me and jabbed friends that are. The biggest factor separating the two groups appears to simply be susceptibility to propaganda. The ones that fear me are also the ones that fear private gun ownership which is constantly smeared by the propagandists. These are also the same people that always seem eager to repeat the talking points they heard on the idiot box the night before... which is why I'm convinced it's the susceptibility to propaganda instead of "naturally" held beliefs. I could be at the local tavern after playing basketball with some friends and the conversation is mostly debrief -- what's your shot of the day? how's your ankle doing? -- but then someone has to say, "that new stimulus bill is going to be great" (or similar). It's always the same guys that bring up the talking points (propaganda) and those are the same guys that are afraid of guns and afraid of unjabbed me. That's my take.

Here's the logic: "I was scared. So I got the vaccine. And now I have a strong confirmation bias. I'm still scared that I may have been misled. If you are right, that means I was wrong and did a stupid thing. Therefore, if you get the vax, too, we'll be in the same boat and I'll be comforted - even if we're both wrong." "Oh, and you're an uncaring racist, misogynist, homophobe that wants poor people to die."

Yeah, we're seeing a shift in party alignment, too. The GOP messaging is more open to tariffs, more hostile to immigration, becoming more non-interventionist, and is more Main Street vs. Wall Street. It's just the messaging, of course, but we may see unions start to change their alliances, too. If I were a GOP strategist, I'd be going after the union vote hard. The democrats are creating an opening with all the government mandates that are resulting in a HUGE transfer of wealth to corporations.

Headlights should be cross polarized to the windshields. That would eliminate all of the problems with glare.

I probably have 20 recessed lights in my lower level. I switched them all to Sylvania no dim LED's less than 2 years ago. The lights are not on very often. At least 3 probably more have failed.

LED light bulbs do not live up to their hype. I have purchased Sylvania bulbs and there is no way they last 10 years or 10,000 hours or whatever they say. I have had many bulbs fail after low usage. Granted they probably use less energy and are more pleasing than the squirrelly fluorescents and they do not get very hot but they do not last very long. Maybe Mike Lindell can make some "My Lightbulbs."

Pro-jab arguments are like flat earth arguments or "we need government for roads" arguments. They only appear to take the form of science or fact based arguments. At their core, those arguments are professions of faith and no amount of "refuting claims" can change what someone believes. I don't waste my time (any more).

Good question! In Revelation you have the mark of the beast and the seal of God. Both have to do with worship. The mark is described in Revelation 13. 15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666. Verse 15 makes it clear that the beast wants to force everyone to worship it. The mark, therefore, is a sign of who is and is not worshipping the beast. Revelation 7:3 mentions that the last plagues are supposed to be held back until God's sevants are sealed in their foreheads.

They are NOT safe. And there are multiple vaccines with various levels of safety. One study showed that boys are 6 more times as likely to develop myocarditis from the Pfizer vaccine then they are to be hospitalized by COVID. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/sep/10/boys-more-at-risk-from-pfizer-jab-side-effect-than-covid-suggests-study And some European countries have suspended the Moderna vaccine in people under 30 over myocarditis concerns. https://www.malaysiasun.com/news/271448172/finland-suspends-moderna-covid-19-vaccines-for-men https://www.rfi.fr/en/france/20211018-moderna-s-covid-vaccine-is-no-longer-authorised-for-booster-doses-in-france https://abcnews.go.com/Business/wireStory/sweden-suspends-moderna-vaccine-young-people-80432245

    1) Vaccines are safe and effective and help reduce chances of being hospitalized and dying. Maybe. Maybe not. The evidence is still inconclusive to me, but if you want to take your chances, go ahead. 2) Vaccine adverse events are very small in number, so the claim is they are safe. To be fair, over a billion doses have been given and a very small percentage have had adverse events. Just look at all the athletes in our country, I only know of one athlete who had an adverse event out of 100s if not 1000s (Brandon Goodwin of the NBA). The same could be said for Covid. How many athletes have been hospitalized or died from Covid? So, if my risk is already VERY small, why would I take a "vaccine" that only adds a new risk just to potentially get a VERY small marginal benefit? 3) Over 700k have died from COVID so they push the vaccine to help resolve mortality issues. Yeah, they really care about you - that's what this is all about. They could have gotten a bigger marginal benefit gain by telling everyone to get sunshine, exercise, reduce stress and eat healthy - but how would Big Pharma rake in billions from those policies? 4) Viral load stays in the unvaccinated longer than the vaccinated so it's implied that the unvaccinated spread the virus more than the vaccinated.

I wish things were a lot more local too. I'm really not looking for a country of 300 million at all. I think that's too big. Those who didn't want to live by Christian law could live somewhere else and choose God's judgment over his blessings.

And while I do believe the BIble requires civil authorities to punish homosexuality, and with death as the maximum penalty, I don't think it would be legitimate even for the government to just round up people in a gay bar.

  8. Sorry, but you have failed. That verse does not contain the words "Grace is irresistible." You can interpret it that way, but that's not what the verse says. You had to admit there was "relational language" in the Bible. Yet you have stuck to your guns that there isn't a verse that says "Have a relationship with Jesus." Likewise there is no verse that says "Grace is irresistible." If you were honest you would simply admit that. But you aren't honest.

In the twilight of the Cold War, the United States spent millions of dollars to supply Afghan schoolchildren with textbooks filled with violent images and militant Islamic teachings, part of covert attempts to spur resistance to the Soviet occupation.
