Due to the conflicting accounts I'll have to wait for the dust to settle to form an opinion. If the reports of both firing shots are correct, then at first glance it looks like a horrible case of mistaken identity on both the restaurant owner and the cop's part...friendly fire during the chaos.

Heh. I'm all in favor of defunding bureaucratically managed police in favor of elected sheriffs, but their proposed solutions are so ineffectual that it has to be on purpose. I'm guessing this is a setup for some kind of bizarre anarcho-tyranny mashup that they can manipulate further: Let serious criminals run amok, but give peaceful citizens the knee-on-neck for petty statutory infractions or defending themselves, while robbing them to fund the crime in city hellholes and convincing the city dwellers their problems are someone else's fault.

If anything, there should be no "Police Department." It's unconstitutional. If they need more law enforcement, they need to deputize more people to be part of the sheriffs department. At least there would be somebody responsible for the actions of the deputies who could be voted out of office.

This is a good thing on multiple levels: Trump made a mistake here by trying to do exactly what the enemy wants him to do, and it could have been a disaster both immediately, and on the Constitutional precedent level. It's possible that Esper, Thune, etc. opposed Trump because Orange Man Bad, but it's also entirely possible that they're simply taking their oaths seriously. The two cases are indistinguishable at the moment, except perhaps in the language they use. This now set a precedent that will make it harder for government to justify abusing the Insurrection Act for any circumstances less severe than this. IF some of the brass said "no" because they're part of the cabal, that also says something: It says that they felt making Trump look bad immediately was better for them than giving Trump the rope to hang himself with the very action this mess was created to provoke. Why? This would have been the cabal's perfect opportunity, because it was effectively the first trap they ever laid for him that he actually walked into. The only possibility I can think of is if they realized too many troops under them are actually loyal to America. Once the military starts being used for domestic issues, we enter banana republic territory where we start counting Generals' heads, and lower officers start relieving higher officers of their command, etc., and it becomes a matter of raw force. It is very likely that the cabal is afraid they don't have the numbers.

I have a visual impairment and I can't tell what the person looks like in the video or magnify it enough on my screen to see, I don't know where he lives and I don-t want to know but I think the anti fa people do travel. WTF is going on? Why do people who say they love freedom keep banning me and attacking me? I am old and tired but I still want freedom and liberty for my grandchildren and their children. Even if Larkin is from anti-fa which I am leaning towards not I still love his message.

IDK the answer to that. I have been enjoying Larken's videos for as long as they were posted here.. I agree with most of what he says. I don't personally know him or know anyone who does. To me he seems like a good guy. The voice I hear @ 1:35 in the video sounds like him or they have the same accent at least. It doesn't seem to me that Larkin would be a part of destroying property. I have been cut off from several sites after I posted a link to his last video "Not Alone" so I am just trying to understand why am I getting banned and attacked over it. To me Larkin seems like one of the 1/3 of Americans who could save our country. I am all for anarchy I hate that so many people think they need the police to solve their problems and secure their property. I expect me to secure my own property and for you to do the same and I would never harm a hair on anyone's head unless they attack me. first. Anti fa says they want to defund the police I am not against it. On the other hand it creeps me out to see police and NG on their knees to them. WTF!!!!

Mini-Me replied to a thread Boogaloo in U.S. Political News
The "boogaloo" concept exists, but it's a meme, not a militia. The meme was a way for frustrated Second Amendment activists on ar15.com to crack jokes at the absurdity of the civil war they fear is inevitable, and try to drum up a little bit of courage for not complying with gun bans or registration. The meme is organic, and sometimes they'll refer to each other as fellow "boog bois" and make fun of their own silliness (generally bearded, overweight, and over-tacticool'ed). They call one of the forum moderators DK-Prof (a tenured professor originally from Denmark) "Father Boog" due to his decked out appearance at the January 20th protests in Richmond, VA, where the protestors literally cleaned their litter and stickers from the street to show some dignity. Their favorite book of the Bible is the Book of Boogalations. That said, they are serious about their line in the sand, and their presence at these riots has been entirely relegated to helping businesses and people defend themselves by deterring violent rioters. Far from instigating, they debate whether it'd be better not to even show up, due to the smears. Unlike Antifa, they have never coordinated through front groups who fund them (e.g. Friends of Democracy BWI0418'15 documents), and have never "struck first," or even at all as far as I'm aware. The whole idea is that an armed society is a polite society, to begin with. As a side note, all of you already know this, but they have nothing to do with white supremacy, except in-so-far as social justice ideology refers to everything American or individualist as "white supremacy." It's all about the Second Amendment, all the time, for them. There are indeed a rare few who consider themselves "accelerationists," but those guys actually advocate voting straight ticket Democrat to make the collapse happen faster and rip off the band-aid. They're usually not well-received. Before this week, for every one person who glorifies the idea of a civil war, there are a lot more who argued, basically, "Don't be an idiot. If we get to that point, life is going to be a living hell for everyone." As of this week I'd say most of them are Anti Federalist-level frustrated, but they're still generally defense-minded and hyper-aware that anything they ever do will be misrepresented. There are also, in Virginia specifically, particular groups who effectively could be called a budding militia, like the guys calling themselves "VA Battle Buddies" who spearheaded the move to bring their long guns to the Richmond protests to make a point (instead of begging, "please stop subjugating and humiliating us" in dress shirts and slacks for the umpteenth time).

Just out of curioisity, what exactly about "anarchism" do you disagree with? Mind you, I'm talking about philosophical anarcho-capitalism, not "anarchism" in the sense of no law and order of any kind. Were you using the term in the latter sense when you said you disagreed with it?

What distinction do you see between voluntarism and anarcho-capitalism, if any?

Yes, it does. And it will for a short spell, and then they'll go right back to it. Correct; Attack; Claim Victimhood - that is the M.O. They've admitted that Christianity is a warzone, and they believe that they aren't doing God's work unless they are sowing discord and reviled.

Get ready for phase three: victimhood, they are going to claim it.

Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

By developing a community caucus and integrating it with physical town halls and events, a new level of transparency will be achieved that will hopefully lead America back into the 21st century of Freedom.

Your help is vital to this project. We will need volunteers and funding. This is technically a "campaign activity"

S.510 Food Safety LIVES!

by GunnyFreedom on 12-19-2010 at 09:19 PM
Beware! Using a procedural trick, the US Senate late Sunday night unanimously added the Food Safety Bill back into the new Continuing budget resolution. It returns to the House in the exact text they sent it for consideration and a vote.

So says Jamie Dupree.

A major food safety bill that had almost been given up for dead was suddenly revived in the Senate late on Sunday evening, and may be ready for House approval as early as Tuesday.
