Critical Education is Brainwashing https://odysee.com/@newdiscourses:9/critical-education-is-brainwashing:5 {New Discourses | 06 December 2023} New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 73 Critical Pedagogy is brainwashing. This isn’t rhetorical flourish or poetic license. The entire school of thought called Critical Pedagogy, which is wholly dominant in all our schools of education and educational institutions now, is brainwashing. It’s easy to see this by considering the words of people who use and promote Critical Pedagogy itself. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay takes you through three such people to make an irrefutable case that Critical Pedagogy really is nothing other than Woke brainwashing. @newdiscourses:9/critical-education-is-brainwashing:5

Comer, R-Ky., subpoenaed Hunter Biden to appear for a deposition on Dec. 13 behind closed doors. Biden's attorney, Abbe Lowell, last week, notified the committee that the president’s son wanted to testify in a public hearing instead.

With rare exceptions (such as Coolidge and ... ummmm ... well, such as Coolidge), every president since at least (and, of course, including) Lincoln has exhibited such a "tendency" to some degree or another. Two of the most notable were the Roosevelts, Theodore and Franklin (one being a Republican and the other a Democrat, should anyone still be laboring labor under the illusion that this is a partisan phenomenon). Treating Trump as if he is somehow special or different in this regard (either for better or worse) ultimately just boils down to personality-cult bullshit. The source of the "tendency" is the system itself. The system evolves the personages, not the other way around. Like the modern U.S., the late Roman Republic was a basket case of dysfunctions. Several men, each in his own way, tried to "fix" it. Sulla became dictator in the name of preserving the Roman Republic in defiance of its circumstances. He failed. Julius Caesar became dictator in the name of adjusting the Republic to its circumstances. He failed, too (and got merked, to boot). Octavian became imperator (turbo-dictator) and delivered the Republic its coup de grâce - because he understood that the Republic's gig was finally up. Republics (at least the overweeningly expansive ones) become empires - and it takes an emperor to rule an empire. Whether someone - Trump, or anyone else - becomes "dictator" of America (formally, or de facto) has relatively little to do with the "tendencies" of the person himself, and far more to do with the nature and "logic" of culturally-multifarious, continent(s)-spanning republics-cum-empires.

I am not certain of any such thing - but it doesn't matter. He doesn't need to be "that bright" in order to understand full well that the consequences of what he wants to do will give him, his cronies, and their "friends", associates, & supporters far more power (i.e., far more wealth and far more control) than they already have. Whether he is capable of "grasp" anything beyond that is irrelevant, as there is no reason to think he would care (let alone do anything differently) in either case. An adequate supply of energy (from whatever source) to his "mansions" (or jet planes, limousines, etc.) will not be in jeopardy. An adequate supply of energy to our homes and businesses (or those of others who are not among Kerry's cronies and their "friends", associates, & supporters), on the other hand ...

Not a "shocker" at all. FTA: Not long after McCarthy was removed as speaker, I remember seeing things (maybe some of them posted here, in one of the relevant threads) to the effect that he was indicating he wouldn't be sticking around. He used to be a conductor, but now he's just one of the fiddles. It's embarrassing. So why should he want to stick around after "losing face" like that? Looks like up to 154 days (140 days + 2 weeks) for the election, then however long after that until the winner is officially seated. FTA:

As it turns out, he should never been in attendance at a public school. And they knew it - but they forced him to attend anyway. The 'gubmint skool is at least as much to blame as Depa himself. More so, even, as this could not have happened without their gross negligence. Sean Fitzgerald (the guy in the video below) is right: Joan Naydich (the victim) should sue the ever-loving hell out the school - and I would add that if anyone should be sent to jail, it should be the people responsible for making her beaing possible probable in the first place.

Just out of curioisity, what exactly about "anarchism" do you disagree with? Mind you, I'm talking about philosophical anarcho-capitalism, not "anarchism" in the sense of no law and order of any kind. Were you using the term in the latter sense when you said you disagreed with it?

What distinction do you see between voluntarism and anarcho-capitalism, if any?

Yes, it does. And it will for a short spell, and then they'll go right back to it. Correct; Attack; Claim Victimhood - that is the M.O. They've admitted that Christianity is a warzone, and they believe that they aren't doing God's work unless they are sowing discord and reviled.

Get ready for phase three: victimhood, they are going to claim it.

Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

We are working on a community network that enhances the services, duties, and abilities of a State Legislator to affect the will of his district into law.

By developing a community caucus and integrating it with physical town halls and events, a new level of transparency will be achieved that will hopefully lead America back into the 21st century of Freedom.

Your help is vital to this project. We will need volunteers and funding. This is technically a "campaign activity"

S.510 Food Safety LIVES!

by GunnyFreedom on 12-19-2010 at 09:19 PM
Beware! Using a procedural trick, the US Senate late Sunday night unanimously added the Food Safety Bill back into the new Continuing budget resolution. It returns to the House in the exact text they sent it for consideration and a vote.

So says Jamie Dupree.

A major food safety bill that had almost been given up for dead was suddenly revived in the Senate late on Sunday evening, and may be ready for House approval as early as Tuesday.
