Dang, looks like Alberto is gonna hit The Redneck Riviera. I hope it doesn't come up through Georgia. We had several trees come down during the last hurricane and some of my shrubs were blown sideways. They're still like that. I suppose I should have the boys try to straighten them up. 1000706326794768384

I'm not a big fan of brats. I'll eat a brown one occasionally but Mr Animal normally gets white ones and they kind of turn me off. He keeps trying to make me like them but they taste weird to me. Have you ever grilled zucchini? It's so good. I cut the tips off and slice it in half long ways and then I make some Good Seasons Italian (you can really use any Italian dressing, that's just what I have) and a little salt and pepper and let them marinate in that overnight and then I grill them.

Nah, he doesn't know how much anything costs. If he does, he doesn't ask because he doesn't want to hear the story of how I had to wait on an obese woman in a zippy cart to get her hair styled to get my trim. I was thinking, it's Friday night at the Walmart don't pretend like you have somewhere to be - now get the fuck up cuz i wanna get outta here. When she finally decided her hair was done, she had the poor stylist running around showing her shampoos and didn't buy anything. And I saw her shitty tip. And her husband came in and he was driving around a zippy cart too. WTF? I was in a sour mood and that woman was getting on my nerves. I was hoping the battery on her cart died just outside the salon entrance. I wouldn't want her to hold me up anymore but I wanted to be able to see it happen. Then, I couldn't even find the noodles and had given up when I spotted them right by the UScan. Why on earth would they put noodles there? And why do they put bananas there? I'm not kidding. Our Walmart keeps a rack of bananas right by the Uscan. Bizarre.

I picked up Mr A's wallet and found 100.00 bill. I took it up to the Walmart and bought him a float so he stays off mine, two giant pool noodles, and I got my hair trimmed. I plan on keeping the change.

Nope. I'm cheap. I fold up some paper, tape 1.08 (price of a card at the Dollar Tree)to the paper, and write a note about how I thought they'd rather have the extra 1.08 than a card. The daughter of a friend of mine wrote Thanks on the same piece of paper and sent it back to me instead of a Thank You card one year. That was funny.

I dislike Bill Nye, and I don't buy into the global warming hysteria, but I do want to reply to one thing right now, because whoever wrote this article is showing some ignorance. We are artificially breeding them into existence, for the sole purpose of using/eating them. When the demand for animal products decreases, the number of animals brought into existence will decrease too. This won't happen overnight, but it will happen (gradually), it's just basic supply and demand.

Plus, Mr A doesn't let me talk when he has the tv on and we never sit in there unless we're watching something.

I don't think so. It's off the wall stuff that coming up on my feed. For example, I was talking to Mr A about stupid baby names (my step brother and his wife just had a baby and gave her a stripper name) and within a few days a bunch of baby name links were coming up on my feed. I wasn't googling anything about babies or baby names or shopping for baby stuff. I gave my step brother a card with some cash at the shower and I didn't even bother looking at their registry.

^ I think there has been a lot of subtle indoctrination in kids movies and TV shows, for a number of years now. A couple years ago, I was doing some nanny work after school for a friend… and I absolutely could not believe the stuff that was aimed at kids. I think that many parents are simply too busy to even notice that, so kids often end up watching movies or TV shows that are designed to indoctrinate, and some of it is really bad. I also believe that there's a spiritual aspect to this. The enemy targets children, I guess the strategy is getting people when they're young. Maybe it's just getting more blatant and obvious now? When I had that part-time nanny job, I always tried to change the channel or get them to watch something else. That ended up causing problems with the older kid (a girl) who probably thought I was crazy for thinking that the shows she wanted to watch were bad news. It even caused problems with my friend (her mom) who said she trusts my judgment, but since she has different spiritual and political views, she didn't fully agree with my take on it, and probably thought I was overreacting. Maybe if she hears about this movie, I'll be vindicated about what I was telling her a few years ago. I should tell my sister about this too, because evidently it is getting more blatant, and busy parents often are oblivious to this sort of thing.

There was an 'agreement' reached btw Russia/Jordan/US to establish road 'checkpoints' and monitor transports internally & at border crossings. (like that would stop arms smuggling. It didn't.) SYRIA was not a party to that agreement and remained legally silent. The GOVERNMENT of Syria has sworn to take back every INCH of their land. They are determined to take their oil back too. Like Daraa, the Euphrates river valley and Al-Tanf areas have no legal basis for belligerent occupation.

Just out of curioisity, what exactly about "anarchism" do you disagree with? Mind you, I'm talking about philosophical anarcho-capitalism, not "anarchism" in the sense of no law and order of any kind. Were you using the term in the latter sense when you said you disagreed with it?

What distinction do you see between voluntarism and anarcho-capitalism, if any?

Yes, it does. And it will for a short spell, and then they'll go right back to it. Correct; Attack; Claim Victimhood - that is the M.O. They've admitted that Christianity is a warzone, and they believe that they aren't doing God's work unless they are sowing discord and reviled.

Get ready for phase three: victimhood, they are going to claim it.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

by GunnyFreedom on 12-23-2010 at 07:00 PM
We are working on a community network that enhances the services, duties, and abilities of a State Legislator to affect the will of his district into law.

By developing a community caucus and integrating it with physical town halls and events, a new level of transparency will be achieved that will hopefully lead America back into the 21st century of Freedom.

Your help is vital to this project. We will need volunteers and funding. This is technically a "campaign activity"

S.510 Food Safety LIVES!

by GunnyFreedom on 12-19-2010 at 09:19 PM
Beware! Using a procedural trick, the US Senate late Sunday night unanimously added the Food Safety Bill back into the new Continuing budget resolution. It returns to the House in the exact text they sent it for consideration and a vote.

So says Jamie Dupree.

A major food safety bill that had almost been given up for dead was suddenly revived in the Senate late on Sunday evening, and may be ready for House approval as early as Tuesday.

The basic idea is to specify via the 10th Amendment that all foodstuffs produced in and remaining within the borders of the State of North Carolina are not subject to Federal law or Federal regulation.
