Yeah. I mentioned no fault divorce....given to us by "conservative" Ronald Reagan who basically wanted one for himself. Oh and he was an early proponent of gun control too. Reminds me of another more recent "conservative" president...but I digress.

 I'm talking about specifically regarding the break up of the family. You're welcome to jump into the stream of a conversation but not welcome to change the subject. Please address what's actually being discussed at the moment thank you very much. Edit: And please understand that the words immigration and integration are not the same thing. Consult a dictionary if necessary. For a further reference see: https://www.vox.com/2015/3/18/8237299/irish-crime-1850s Americans can look back to the Irish immigrants of the 1850s to see that criminal justice disparities are very often a symptom of vast socioeconomic disparities, not traits inherent to a certain group of people.

Well I have a son who's become acclimatized to Chicago. Okay. But I thought the point of the 3 hour Tucker interview that I haven't watched yet is that the problem with the Civil Rights Movement is that it got people thinking collectively? I'm seriously confused as to what your position is. Did you watch the Joe Rogan interview I posted about Sparta? Just curious.

No offense, but your winter doesn't look that appealing to me. :) I'll listen to it sometime when I have a 3 hour drive by myself. But this begs the question. Isn't this entire thread collectively viewing people? I'm seriously stunned by the genetic trauma argument coming from you as that is the kind of argument I would be expecting from a critical race theorist. If Pat Buchannan endorsed that view that's even more shocking. This reminds me of a song.

It's only racist if "doing for your people" requires you to mistreat someone else. I would have no problem with Larry Bird going to his old neighborhood and starting a "White people can play basketball too" camp. Institutions that blacks have set up to help ourselves have almost universally been open for everyone else. Whites were always allowed to attend HBCUs if they wanted to and if local segregation laws didn't prevent it. Black churches have always been open to white people. And while Vanilla Ice got booed when he was nominated for best R&B single, he still got nominated and the did a biopic of him on BET. https://www.bet.com/article/rg5mhf/vanilla-ice-is-getting-a-biopic Meanwhile Eminem has been fully embraced by black people. (I still don't get that but okay).

Christianity went from the Middle East to Africa in the first century AD and Christianity was established as the official religion of Ethiopia about the same time that Constantine converted. Constantine was pagan, but Ethiopia was Jewish prior to Christianity. And Ethiopian Judaism had not been polluted by the Babylonian Talmud. (Probably why it was so much easier for Ethiopian Jews to convert). Meanwhile, you got your "rainbow tribe" from the Greek Spartans who, despite their bravery for standing up against the Persians, had a thing for little boys. Is that what you call "enlightenment?" How many Americans own oil wells? Does that change the fact that since WW2 America has dominated through the petrodollar? No. No it does not. The slave economy benefited more people than just the slave owners. There were the overseers. There were the people who owned the cotton gin. There were the slavecatchers. When the transatlantic slave trade was going on there were the people who owned the slave ships (a significant portion of them in the "small hat club" as Anti Federalist points out). There were the sailors on the slave ships. There were the textile manufacturers who bought and processed the cotton (some in the North and some in Europe). It was an entire economy that benefited from the same system. We go to war over oil (and don't pretend we don't) because our entire economy is dependent upon it. Gaddafi had made peace with the U.S. under George W. Bush and our first black president, Barack Obama, facilitated his overthrow and murder because Gaddafi wanted to get Libya off of the petrodollar. The only reason we aren't bombing Saudi Arabia right now is because the United States is weak and BRICS is strong. See above. You still don't realize you're destroying your own argument. Interesting.

Actually you've just made the case for reparations. If someone is damaged the damage should be repaired. Integration and diversity have already worked so that's a non argument. Besides, if you did your own genetic history you're probably not pure blood anything. German, Italian, Dutch, etc are all "diverse." But there are communities that need to be repaired. America gave reparations to Nazi traitors (Ford and GM) who turned around and gave reparations to their Jewish WW 2 slaves. America also paid reparations to Japanese Americans for a few short years of interment and loss of property. But the other week an Oklahoma court denied reparations to two survivors of the Tulsa ethnic cleansing (yes, well over 100 years old), for reasons I don't know as I haven't read the case. Reparations are typically a legislative remedy anyway so that's probably why they lost. The other thing that you've proven is the Brandon Johnson speeches you highlighted may have a basis in reality. If there is "genetic trauma" then it's okay to blame black people's problems on white racism. Note I didn't make these arguments. They just naturally flow from your genetic trauma argument. I think life is much more complex than pure genetics and even epigenetics (Fancy word for genetic memory). The problems are communal rather than individual. That's why I'm excited about what happened in Tangelo Park Florida. It was a community wide fix that happened without government intervention! I get it. You're probably worried when you look at the unqualified successful outcome of what happened in Tangelo Park that someone might think "Hey! Maybe the government could do that?" Well...the government could if it wasn't so inept and corrupt. But sometimes even inept and corrupt government get it right. I have been very pessimistic about the black democratically run government in Birmingham Alabama. Schools were failing. Crime was (and still is unfortunately) rampant. But, and I have to do more investigation to find out how this happened, in 2024, 91% of Birmingham public school third tested reading at grade level! Now, I have no idea how this happened. At the beginning of the 2023/2024 school year the mayor made news by complaining that 50% of third graders were truant and asked the DA to prosecute the parents, which the DA declined to do. I'm not sure how you go from 50% truancy the year before to 91% reading at grade level. But they did do some innovative ways to fight truancy. They entered low income parents who's kids had perfect attendance into a raffle for $300 towards rent or utilities. The result was a huge increase in students with perfect attendance! One could say "The parents should be making their kids go to school anyway" and they should, but that one $300 raffle was much cheaper than trying to prosecute the truant parents. Anyhoo, there are real problems in the black community, but regardless of how we got here (genetic trauma from slavery, ethnic cleansing events after slavery, Jim Crow, red lining, the CIA bring drugs in, the war on drugs disproportionately being waged against black people, drop in church attendance, God being taken out of schools, no fault divorce, perverse welfare incentives for single motherhood, "urban renewal" purposefully destroying black communities, corrupt tax officials stealing property, corrupt banks stealing property, lead poisoning in water in places like Flint Michigan, gansta rap music being elevated of music with a conscious, fill-in-the-blank), the only real concern I have is where do we (my community) go from here? Anyway, that's all I have to say. Happy Juneteenth!

The error is due to a vaccine temperature “excursion” meaning vaccines reached temperatures outside of the recommended range during shipment. Temperature excursions can affect the potency and effectiveness of vaccines. Out of abundance of caution, the vaccine manufacturer, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and U.S. Food & Drug Administration is recommending revaccination for individuals who received vaccinations from the affected inventory.

    A) It's sad these so called "scientists" have reduced themselves to blatant and obvious lies. Pressure from Fauci who held the grant money purse strings is not the scientific method. B) Oversee gain of function research? Why not just ban it? What possible benefit is there to creating a pathogen that's more deadly or more contagious than what's found in nature just for the unlikely event that it will pop up in nature? This all sounds like the plot of Mission Impossible 2. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120755/plotsummary/

They did the same thing with application and definition for Democracy also. People are TRICKED into thinking that Democracy is Freedom, Voting, and partaking in the processes of government. The REAL effect of Democracy is nothing short of DEATH OF NATIONS. Next time you hear them say "we must support Democracy" recall what the founding fathers said: Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security, or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives, as they have been violent in their deaths.

He first talked about wanting an assault weapons ban in his 2000 book "The America You Deserve" and 8 years later he was campaigning for Hillary Clinton! You all forget that Bill and Hillary asked Trump to run as a Republican. The man is an empty suit that can be filled with whatever someone else needs at the moment as long as the sufficiently stroke his ego. Don't get me wrong. That can be advantageous at times. I think that's what Anti Federalist sees in Trump. Trump's no patriot, but at times he can do some good because, unlike the Biden's and Clinton's of the world, he's not actively trying to undermine America as much as he possibly can. In a world as screwed up as this sometimes that works out for good. 4D chess my ass. More like Mr. Magoo.

A couple of things to note. 247 in 6 months sounds like a lot until you realize that England's murder rate is about 10 per million. The other odd thing is at if you free the frame at 1:35 it looks like they're counting a small multitool as a "zombie knife." I own a khukri which I use for camping and clearing brush. But you can just as easily kill someone with a kitchen knife.

I'm doing well. It seems that right about the time I was weary of the silliness of a certain RPF poster, I had a lot of positive (hopefully) stuff happen in my life. I'm in the middle of a MAJOR web project and I'm still handling several law cases. (I'm about to take on a pro-bono rape case on appeal where the defendant got railroaded). Glad to know I was missed. I'll clean out my inbox and I'll check out your study.
