Yup, his hands are tied but he is the one who bought the rope and chose the knot. This is why I can't get onboard with Trump. He is the cook in the boiling frog experiment and we will all die a slow painful death if we let continue down this road. The economy was destroyed under his watch and the only response he has is to pay big pharma to create billions of vaccines that they plan on giving us.

True, but when you surround yourself with your enemies, it only makes em easier for them to stab you in the back. Ceaser with Brutus, Trump with 3 dozens of the people in his admin. Like I said, one, two or even 3 would be OK but when they run the majority of the depts, then you have no chance.

This is the problem with Trump surrounding himself with deep state agents and Bill Gates acolytes. You end up having half of your fights with people you put in power. It is a very inefficient way of doing business. One or two of em in place maybe OK but when they are in every dept, advisory roles etc etc, it becomes a problem. I blame Trump for this regulation and I don't care if some people think I am reflectively against Trump.

His FDA did not have to ban anything. He could have allowed medical hospitals to experiment with the medication as long as they followed the already enacted regulations. What they are doing right now will kill people.

So are you saying he did ENOUGH to prevent the banning of the medication? Yea, he talked the good talk but did little in terms of action. His FDA and the people he surrounds himself out maneuvered him on this issue. Sorry Dannno, but he did not do enough

I have taken chloroquine and hydrochloroquine my whole life, I knew what it is before Trump talked about it. And no, he did not push hard for the medication, if he can ban tiktok, he can remove the restrictions on the medication. And how many people would have been placed on vents and died because Trump was trying to play politics with healthcare?

I was a fascist when Bush was president, when he left and Obama took over, I became a communist. Also when the neocons were at the height of their power, I was fanatically pro war but now their power seems to be waning, I became anti war. The way forward is in being an opportunist because its always better to live on your feet than die on your knees. Stop resisting RonZeplin and vote for the Trumpster or the demented Biden, join the zombie horde. You are only making it very hard on yourself

Is it really a weak sauce argument? We know that Trump has a tendency speak his mind when it comes to people he doesnt like. Think of the way he talks about Rosie O'Donnell, John McCain, Mitt Romney or even Ron Paul. If he doesn't like you, he will let you know. So the fact that he said something nice about Epstein and her secretary should tell you something about him. Maybe he is afraid of them or he just OK with their sexual perversion. Either way, it doesn't look good.

I will caution you not to talk about banned members, although its not in the TOS agreement, talking/asking questions about the banning of members CAN lead to your expulsion. Welcome to the new and sanitized RPF

I didn't think he donated to barely any republicans but he got Gingrich, McCain, Guilliani and Bush covered, btw all of em are real RINOs and at some point were never Trumpers. You cannot make this thing up

Not saying republicans are any better but how many republicans did Trump donate to? Bush? Ron Paul? or even McCain. It seems like you see a lot of Harry Reids, Nancy Pelosi, Schummers, Clinton (political and non political contributions) et al in his open secret file. Yea, he was a big liberal donor back in the days

On one end, he complains that Bernie is a sell out and then comes the next day to complain how the democrats are anti Bernie. Sorry m8, but the man is a lost cause, just because he is right on the war doesn't mean he is worth paying any attention to. The man also support the life killing lockdown that has killed 40 million US jobs. Fu*k him, he is no ally

I think the mistake you make here is to conflate under served with poor people without money. Jmdrake is referring to under served groups with money, if there is money to be made, there is usually someone willing to take a chance. So no need for charity/non profits to enter the market. I will continue to agree with you that a free market system will not be perfect, it will have gaps, businesses that discriminate, business failures, scammers and frauds etc but the idea is that it would have less of those negative components than the govt regulated markets.

We live in a system where the govt can shutdown private enterprise because of an overreaction to a virus and you think any of this is pure libertarianism? sorry but very little of what is going on around us is pure libertarianism. But yes, in a pure libertarian society, there will be communities and systems that will shun/ban you for your speech but those places are going to be the least profitable businesses. Yes, there will be bad actors in it and just as long as there are enough people to turn a blind eye to their immoral actions, those places will continue to operate. Take RPF for example, I used to think there will be a backlash when all the banning of long time beloved members started and nothing happened. Members were surprising OK with the the management's actions. If RPF can get away with it, I wouldn't be shocked if xxxx woke corporation would be able to do the same. We all have to speak up when we see unfair actions like the firing of people with incorrect political speech. We need to boycott, write letter and make as much noise as we can. The free market works best when people push back against injustice. You start in small places like online forum where you post and move up to businesses you patronize.

You don't need to explain why but if you insist on getting an answer, it is because of ownership. I really hate censors but your property, your right to shyte inside it.

Slow down, by "their space" I am talking about inside their property, physical or virtual property. We get complains all the time about facebook censorship and bans but they do have the right to do so inside their virtual property, the same way RPF can ban member for absolutely no reason. Heck facebook at least tries to give you a reason for the ban and a chance to appeal the ban unlike this place. Can you give examples of pure libertarianism leading to chicom style social scoring? I am not saying that it cannot lead to it but do you have examples of this happening?

I agree that people shouldn't be afraid of opposing ideas or bad ideas especially with libertarians but part of liberty is the right of people and individuals to censors and control what is said in their space. I hate it when facebook does it, hate it even more when a liberty forum does it but individuals/corporations have the right to censor.

To a healthy human, this bacteria flora wouldn't really hurt them. It would be a mere after thought. If anything, it might give your immune system a boost by introducing it to pathogens for it to built its strengths. And for thrush, the only people developing it are usually immuno compromised people and patients on antibiotic.

Also this number only works when you call refer to the virus by the broadest of names. Its a corona virus just like dozens of other viruses but to be specific, it is called covid19 which means co(corona)vid(virus)19(of 2019). With the way its presented, we should all be afraid of the corona drink which is more known by the word corona than the virus.

Well, the only social media I follow is youtube, so I wouldn't really know what she is doing on other platforms This cannot be said loud enough, my mouth dropped when I heard Ron say famines wouldn't exist in the free market. I think its time that we become honest with ourselves and stop saying that govt is virtually all bad. As someone who has worked in transplant unit, I can tell you that govt and govt programs have forced many medical research that would have never been funded in a free market system. You see the thousand of people on dialysis, heart transplant, lung transplant etc and you are looking at people who most likely would have been dead today without those R&D money. I am talking about billion of dollars in research and then billions more for treatment and care for the people who gone through the program. But then again, I think people should understand there there will be a little bit of embellishment when it comes to campaigning. Regardless, the libertarians would be much closer to what they promised than what the R and D candidates promise the masses every year.

The headlines have already been written, its only a matter of time before it is printed.

There is something rotten in system that prevents markets rules to work. I am not sure what it is but you can feel it with the examples you mentioned. Its like they have an external way of bolstering their market share. Fed reserve, big banks support, politicians, I really don't know. But this system is not a free market and that is why the whole debate is complicated

You are right that human nature trends towards self segregation but at the same time, but the libertarian ideology is that the profit motive will push against that desire. Hence the idea that free markets will counter racial discrimination. Will that be true for 100% of the communities in the US? absolutely not, every general rule has pockets of exceptions. But nobody expects anyone to go about spouting the exceptions to the rules that are trying to promote. And there is maybe a tiny percent chance of that approach winning her your vote and a huge percent chance of that strategy losing her the votes of millions of people living in the areas where the free market will in fact lead to lesser discrimination. This strategy is a no brainer, Ron Paul, Rand Paul and just about every liberty minded politician used a version of this strategy during their campaign. And I assure you, if you go back and nitpick their campaign, you will find so many instances which you can question. So essentially she can attempt to win (not even a guarantee if you did what you want) the votes of the few people who live in 90% plus homogeneous communities or try for the votes of the vast majority of the rest of the country. Politics sucks but if you refuse to play even a little bit of it, you will lose 100% of the time, guaranteed.
