Written by Ron Paul - Monday December 11, 2017 Last week the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case of Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission. The case stems from the refusal of Masterpiece Cakeshop, a bakery, to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex couple. The bakery was found guilty of a civil rights violation and ordered to stop refusing to bake and design cakes because they are for same-sex weddings. The bakery was also required to file reports on the steps it takes to comply and whether it turns down any prospective customers. The decision to force the bakery to change its business practices reflects a mistaken concept of rights. Those who support government intervention in this case view rights as a gift from government. Therefore, they think politicians and bureaucrats can and should distribute and redistribute rights. This view holds it is completely legitimate to use government force to make bakeries bake cakes for same-sex weddings since the government-created right to a cake outweighs the rights of property and contract. This view turns the proper concept of rights on its head. Rights are not gifts from government, so the government cannot restrict them unless we engage in force or fraud. The bakery did not use force to stop any same-sex couple from getting a wedding cake. It simply exercised its right to decide who it would accept as a customer. No one would support private individuals forcing bakery employees to bake a cake at gunpoint, so why is it right for the government to do it? Some people claim that forcing the bakery to bake the cake is consistent with libertarianism. The reason they make this claim is they view the bakery’s actions as rooted in bigotry toward homosexuals. But even if this were true, it would not justify government intervention. Bigots and others with distasteful views have the right to use their property as they choose. The way to combat bigotry is through boycotts and other means of peaceful persuasion.

Ugg, I was hungry. Really hungry. So hungry my stomach was hurting. Anyway, I wanted something warm so I decided to fry up two eggs and have some eggs and ketchup. Boy, that didn't sit well. Now I have terrible heart burn. Mr A and the boys are having chicken wings and I was thinking about boiling some shrimp but now I don't know. I'm not sure what's worse, being hungry or heart burn. I just looked it up to see what causes it... Apparently, my esophageal sphincter relaxed abnormally. It could be caused by the fried eggs, the ketchup, and/or the coffee. I'm not discounting the alcohol I consumed last night is playing a part in this episode.

No. He had shoes and Buffalo is fairly flat. But he did have to walk to school in snow. He went to a private school and there were no buses. I got chased by a mean dog uphill both ways on my school route.

LIFESKILL - WALMART I HAVE TO GO TO WALMART TO PICK UP AN ORDER TODAY. I LIKE THESE CAMISOLES (FLEXEES, THEY'RE AWESOME. I WEAR THEM I LIEU OF A BRA) THEY SELL THERE BUT THEY NEVER HAVE MY SIZE ON THE RACK. WHEN I CHECK THE WEBSITE, IT SAYS THEY HAVE THEM IN STOCK. I HAVE TO ORDER THEM ONLINE AND THEN GO TO THE STORE AND PICK THEM UP. I SUPPOSE I COULD ASK SOMEONE TO FETCH ONE FOR ME FROM THE BACK BUT I FIGURE IT'S EASIER TO JUST ORDER IT AND PICK IT UP. I WOULD JUST BUY THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE BUT THEY'RE 10.00 CHEAPER AT WALLY WORLD. THEY'RE SUCKERING ME IN WITH THEIR LOW LOW PRICES. I GUESS YOU PAY THE EXTRA 10.00 IF YOU JUST WANT TO WALK INTO A STORE, BUY THE DAMN THING AND BE DONE WITH IT. I HAVE TO ADMIT, IT'S KINDA FUNNY WHEN I GO PICK UP MY ORDER AND THE MAN BEHIND THE COUNTER OPENS UP A BAG FULL OF LINGERIE TO CHECK TO SEE IF EVERYTHING'S THERE. IT'S A LITTLE AWKWARD. I'M ALSO GOING TO RUN UP TO THE BARBER SHOP AND MAKE SURE THE BOYS GET NICE HAIRCUTS. NUMBER TWO I MOSTLY TRUST, NUMBER ONE, NOT SO MUCH. HE CALLS HIS STYLE THE REVERSE MULLET (HE HAS CURLY HAIR AND ASKS FOR PARTY IN THE FRONT BUSINESS IN THE BACK) AND HE'S BAD ABOUT NOT KEEPING HIS FRONT PARTY UNDER CONTROL AND HE LOOKS LIKE HE HAS A WEIRD FRO. ALSO, NUMBER TWO KEEPS ASKING FOR A SHAVE. HE HAS LIKE THREE BLOND SHORT AND CURLIES ON HIS CHIN (I COULD PLUCK THE DAMN THINGS) AND I DON'T WANT HIM PAYING 18.00 TO HAVE THEM SHAVED OFF.

Hey, check out Men Without Hats S.O.S (ABBA) cover. I love it. I know you appreciate disco so I thought I would call your attention to it. I went to Retro Futura last night and saw them. Really fun show. If they come to your area, go. You will have a blast. Mr A doesn't care for that kind of music and he even had fun. I think he was mostly just enjoying making fun of me for liking gay music but still...he had fun.

“Herd Immunity.” The flawed science and failures of mass vaccination

The oft-parroted sound bite – “we need herd immunity”- implies that if ninety five percent of the population can become “immune” to a disease via vaccination, target immunity levels will be met and diseases will either be eradicated or controlled. This sound bite is the most commonly pulled weapon used by the vaccinators, only second to “smallpox and polio were eradicated by vaccination.” “Herd

Americans' right to access fresh, healthy foods of their choice is under attack. Amino acids are the components of proteins. These amino acids are strung together like the links on a chain, where they form the proteins that make our bodies work properly. There are a few exceptions to this rule, amino acids that perform their function individually, not as components of proteins.
