I've seen some Robert Barnes videos before and I think he's legit (though I can't say for sure). As for why a legit guy would spend an hour promoting AJ, I didn't watch the video but I'm guessing he might see this as an important case for freedom of speech in this country. Personally, that's how I see it. The idea of being sued for having a differing opinion seems crazy to me. And a $50M penalty (assuming that's the total number) is far crazier. Though I admit I haven't followed this case closely at all.

Wolfgang Halbig has a pretty impressive resume for people to just write the guy off as a loon. Plus how in the world can it be illegal to express a differing opinion? I don't know if I think Alex Jones is controlled opposition or not (though he seems too wacky to be legit) but I'm always wary of that possibility. If he's legit, though, I really don't understand what this Sandy Hook lawsuit is about. He's not allowed to have a different opinion about an event if people say that opinion hurts them? By the same argument, wouldn't Jews be allowed to sue Holocaust deniers? I don't think that would make sense either.
