    Just to clarify, I not referring to the platform that's approved at the County Convention and gets sent up to the State Convention. I'm talking about a stand-alone county platform that only addresses local issues to provide guidance for city- & county-level Republicans.

    By "next meeting", are your referring to Executive Committee meetings? We now have a majority of liberty-minded precinct chairs on our EC, so we'd like to establish some black-n-white, fiscally-conservative planks under which to operate in order to standardize our criteria for recruiting and supporting candidates. To date, our local party has installed tax-n-spenders throughout the county and has contributed to what can only be described as a local oligarchy. If having a stand-alone county platform has been allowed all along, it doesn't surprise me that they've avoided it.
