The South seceded and attacked Union Forts to protect slavery but you are correct that the North didn't fight back to end slavery. As for the president that destroyed the idea of peaceful secession, why that would be Lincoln's fellow Southerner and slave holder Andrew Jackson. He threatened to hang secessionists as traitors including his own vice president John C. Calhoun. Of course the only state serious about secession then was South Carolina. And the "nullification crisis" ended without bloodshed. Nullification >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> secession. State don't like a federal mandate? Don't enforce it. People are angry at the liberal cities and states creating "sanctuary cities." Well conservative cities and states could do the same thing for other issues like protecting the 2nd amendment. What would happen in state governments quit enforcing all federal gun laws at any level? Say if the feds weren't allowed to temporarily house federal criminal defendants and/or convicts in state facilities? States should stop cooperating with federal drug enforcement as well.

Well I agree with you about Alex Jones but for the opposite reason I'm afraid. If you're going to gin people up about children locked in a basement you better be damn sure there is actually a basement. And sorry but an insurrection on behalf of a swamp creature like Trump isn't a valid insurrection. I was with, in spirit, the Michigan folks who confronted their governor and state legislature over the lockdowns. But I'm more bothered by Trump and Jones giving people false hope about January 6th thinking Pence somehow could/would make Trump re-elected president than I am them not actually insurrection on January 6th. Peaceful separation through secession? When has that happened? Peaceful separation is done on an individual level and individuals can come together and support each other. Should violence come to a community that has peacefully separated itself then that bridge has to be crossed when you get there. The Bundy folks got the feds to back down without first having their state legislature vote for secession or without some violent takeover of the U.S. capitol or any state capital. Local folks in local counties should strive to elect sheriffs that won't enforce unconstitutional and/or unreasonable state and federal mandates. There are real solutions that don't revolve dying or going to prison for someone that doesn't even have the guts to pardon Assange and Snowden.

No. Trump is gutless and dishonest. He should have pardoned Assange and Snowden right after the electoral college voted and then conceded the election. His concession speech could have talked about the election fraud and the need to work hard to prevent further fraud and asking all of his supporters to go to Georgia to make sure the GOP kept the senate. Had he done that it's unlikely that what happened on January 6th would have happened. Instead narcissist-in-chief let everything continue to be all about him. He gassed his supporters up into thinking they could somehow pressure Mike Pence and the rest of the GOP to somehow give him the election. And so freaking what if the senate "convicts" him? He's already out of office. All that will mean is that they can also vote to bar him from running again. So what? The off chance that you could run again at age 78 is too much of a "sacrifice" for you to do the right thing? Forget him.

I hear ya. I was wondering where you were going with that at first. :p There is some "pretense" though the pretense makes no sense. I listened the other day to CBS news "debunking" Q-Anon by saying there is no pedophile conspiracy in high levels of government. Hello? Dear memory hole? Jeffery Epstein was a real pedophile with a real island with real underage sex slaves on it visited by real powerful people. All of that is just reported in the open. But then Q-Anon went crazy train with trying to convince everyone that Jeffery Epstein's pal, Donald Trump, who bought the Miss Teen USA pageant and then bragged about being able to walk in on the minor girls getting dressed, was somehow the "savior" of sex slaves. Ummmm...that made no freaking sense! I still listen to conspiracy theorists like James Corbett who don't carry Trump water. I did hold out faint hope that Trump would pardon Assange and Snowden. But.....nope. Kwame Kilpatrick, corrupt liberal disgraced former mayor of Detroit, got a pardon though. So....nobody is going to save us. Got it. Agorism for the win! We all need to as individuals learn to live as best we can outside of the system and coordinate with others who share that belief system.

Major parts of what youre saying is the ability to recognize the bullshit for what it is. I feel like a lot of the people that have fallen to the Radicalization of so many actual Militant Groups is that they have not been able to recognize that bullshit, and fell for it. They are victims only until they start causing harm to others with physical violence. But, is the ability to recognize bullshit something that is taught in Public Schools? Hell no. How many PARENTS do you know that teach their kids? Quite a few. And of those that have the skill, do they have the ability? Depends. I think a lot of the Recognize Bullshit ability comes from Males. We have been sexually divided for a while. The number of married people has dropped dramatically. And the Father has been REMOVED from the house, and one of the many consequences is that they are not able to teach their Sons and Daughters their skill of Recognizing Bullshit. Now not being racist, but look at how many Black Men / African American Men / <Insert racially appropriate word here> have been raised with out Father Figures, because their "Daddys" are in jail for drugs or gang membership or some other thing they were pretty much pushed into? Since they were not taught the ability to Recognize Bullshit, they fell for the empty promises of the Leftist, and were more easily Radicalized than those who had Families. Explains a LOT of the attack on Family. This is something we CAN overcome. It is a fairly simple skill that we can teach each other. I believe this addresses #3 and #2 because youre right. We do fall for bullshit too easily. So how do YOU recognize Bullshit? Once you recognize it, what else can you do about it?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/centrist-janet-yellen-supports-a-dollar2-trillion-carbon-tax/ar-BB1bzpFk Janet Yellen, former chairwoman of the Federal Reserve and President-elect Joe Biden's pick for Treasury secretary, has repeatedly pushed for a national carbon tax that would force drivers to pay more at the pump. Joe Biden sitting at a table© Provided by Washington Examiner Glowing reactions from the media to Yellen’s selection paint her as a centrist figure and a compromise choice while ignoring her more extreme positions and taking shots at Republicans. USA Today referred to Yellen as “a centrist and consensus builder” who will work at “persuading recalcitrant Republicans in the Senate.” The Washington Post’s profile of Yellen insisted she is a “pragmatic, mainstream economist” and a policymaking version of “Mary Poppins.” Reading such rave reviews, taxpayers may be surprised to learn of the alleged centrist’s support for a $2 trillion tax on American energy that would raise federal taxes on gasoline by more than 200%. You know what? I hope they do. I hope my liberal friends who drive gas guzzling SUVs are shell shocked by the price at the pump this time next year. Right now gas is at $2.00 a gallon where I live. I hope it goes up to 3 or even 4 dollars a gallon. I'll go back to riding my bike. I'll ask Biden voters "Are you happy now?" As a side note I wonder how antifa will get gas for petrol bombs? Siphon it out of other people's tanks I bet.

He wants to throw away his "Right" to express disagreements because he thinks those in power WILL NOT STAB HIM IN THE BACK. They will let him continue to express his divisive views until he is no longer useful. Sadly I think this statement may only further ENCOURAGE him instead of creating an incentive to find a way to co-exist.

I found the mandate. It does not change "policy" into "law." It requires agency heads to follow existing law and enforce CDC guidelines. Most agencies were already following the CDC guidelines anyway. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/2021/01/20/executive-order-protecting-the-federal-workforce-and-requiring-mask-wearing/ And yes federal lands are covered so that would include federal parks and national forests. But the current CDC guidelines are vague at best on this. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/cloth-face-cover-guidance.html Prioritize wearing masks indoors and when in close contact with other people, like during group travel or shift meetings. Some localities may require wearing masks in public while outdoors, and these requirements should be followed.

Nothing you said in anyway contradicted what belian78 said. What is 5% of the overall population of Portland? Over 650,000. Take 5% of that and you have 32,500. A mob a quarter of that size, left unchecked, can do a lot of damage. But here's the rub. There are idiots on BOTH sides! And each side uses the other sides idiots to justify further escalation. Both sides need to chill. But neither side will. This is the way things were in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s. The national socialists were battling the international socialists and authoritarianism won.

End result is 95% of the Human Population DEAD. How can you pull that off? Trick people into killing each other. Keep them divided. Artificial Scarcity. Destroy the Economy by not allowing people to go to work. Keep them dependent, then cutting off ALL life requiring resources, IE food water shelter money healthcare etc. Destroy normalcy, and replace it with Insanity. Oh and Internment Camps. Brainwashing. Fear. Basically flat out destroy what makes ANY society function. I dont even think this is Communism or Fascism or Technocracy any more. This is gonna end with GENOCIDE OF THE HUMAN RACE. The whole "Pro-Trump Libertarians" is a SINGLE STEP for them. First they go after a disparaged group. Then they go after another. Then another. And another. They most likely wont come after you first. If they wanted you dead immediately then you would already be dead. They ARE going after smaller groups of the Moral Majority. Such as Libertarians is not that big of a group, but are typically members of larger collective labels that oppose their agendas. So go after those sub groups as a step, then other sub groups. When they come for you, there will be no one left to defend you because they have already killed everyone else.

The national socialists who invaded the capital on January 6th and killed a police officer with a fire extinguisher have a lot more in common with the international socialists who attacked the DNC headquarters in Portland on January 20th than they do with libertarians of any stripe.

Letter to representatives concerning Biden/Harris

Good day:

Due to information that has now come to light I am writing to inform your office that I voted in person at my assigned polling station on 11/3/20, which is located at 7170 N. I wish to inform you that I witnessed the following at my assigned polling station: (1) each voting station there provided only black sharpie markers, (2) a new ballot was printed out from a printer and handed to me to complete and submit (and informed me I could not

Tasking singly endured, for if a gloam more
