So bring in a plethora of low wage workers in a short span, who will be dependent on welfare more so. The artificial increase in labor will drive down wages so the locals are earning less. The Haitian kids won't do as well in school because of language barriers and uneducated parents, so the other students will suffer. It will also be more costly as an increase in bilingual and special needs teachers is needed.
