ROFLMAO :D https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/25/asia/us-china-covid-swab-tests-intl/index.html Shanghai, China (CNN)US officials in China have asked local authorities to refrain from subjecting US staff in the country to Covid-19 anal swabs, according to a US diplomat based in China. On Thursday, China responded to a Vice News report which claimed that US diplomats in the country were complaining after having been administered the swab tests. "The State Department never agreed to this kind of testing and protested directly to when we learned that some staff were subject to it," a state department spokesperson told CNN in a statement on Thursday.

While the strike could be the first retaliatory moves by the United States following last week's attacks, the move appeared to be limited in scope, potentially lowering the risk of escalation. Also a decision to strike only in Syria and not in Iraq would give the Iraqi government some breathing room as it carries out its own investigation of a Feb. 15 attack that wounded Americans. The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the strike was approved by President Joe Biden. The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/mister-no-more-mr-potato-163741315.html Hasbro, the company that makes the potato-shaped plastic toy, is giving the spud a gender neutral new name: Potato Head. The change will appear on boxes this year. Toy makers have been updating their classic brands to appeal to kids today. Barbie has shed its blonde image and now comes in multiple skin tones and body shapes. Thomas the Tank Engine added more girl characters. And American Girl is now selling a boy doll. Hasbro said Mr. Potato Head, which has been around for about 70 years, needed a modern makeover. :bigpoo:

Several of the justices were skeptical of the argument that the high court could draw a clear line between felonies – in which such warrantless searches are often permitted – and misdemeanors, given the difference between the two classes of crime are usually difficult for a police officer to determine in the heat of a chase. The suit emerged from the case of a California man who pulled into his garage and closed the door rather than stopping when an officer activated his police lights about 100 feet from the man's driveway. As the garage door closed, the police officer tripped a sensor, causing it to reopen, and ultimately charged the man with DUI.

Imagine when we move to a digital dollar/currency where every transaction will be recorded on the database of the central bank through your FED account. Regarding the the A.I. Bot to call and screen I imagine at some level your social media algorithm and profile will decide that. FB/Twitter et. al. already get triggered for keywords that might indicate if you might be a domestic violent extremist or not.

I agree. Only, now the FED has learned from 2008 which is why housing prices are up during a pandemic where people lose jobs? I think to gobble up extra dollars the FED raises treasury yields which sucks dollars back into the system.

JERUSALEM -- Israel unveiled a plan on Saturday to allow people who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus to attend cultural events, fly abroad and go to health clubs and restaurants. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the plan at a news conference on Saturday night, saying those who have been vaccinated will be able to download the "green badge" in the coming days. "The green badge is gradually opening up the country," Netanyahu said. Israel has conducted the world's speediest vaccine campaign over the past month and a half, inoculating nearly half of its 9.3 million people. But with the coronavirus still spreading rapidly among the unvaccinated, the country only recently began emerging from a two-month lockdown. On Sunday, retail stores, shopping malls, gyms, some middle school grades and other public services for limited crowd sizes are set to start back up.

You are now entering the county of "Facebook". :nauseated: https://www.mic.com/p/nevada-wants-to-let-tech-companies-start-their-own-governments-61017409 t's become something of a cliché to say that mega-corporations are as powerful as entire countries, if not more so. And while that sort of grandiose assertion about the overall power and influence held by companies is certainly up for debate, there's no question that there are companies whose pervasive reach into our daily lives is indeed alarming. But what would happen if that (admittedly porous) membrane between government and corporation were to be erased altogether? Residents of Nevada might soon find out. Draft legislation backed by Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak, and obtained this week by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, suggests Nevada's effort to entice tech companies to set up shop within the state could go so far as to allow qualifying businesses to establish "Innovation Zones" — autonomous corporate territories that would essentially operate as their own counties. Per the Review-Journal, that would include the ability to impose taxes, establish school districts, operate courts, and "provide government services."

I'm not terribly surprised but let's hope there are reductions of arms sales. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/blueprint-for-a-raid-documents-shed-light-on-plan-to-buy-u-s-helicopter-gunships-for-assault-on-tripoli/ar-BB1dQfdD?ocid=msedgntp Scores of documents obtained by U.N. experts in an 18-month investigation have shed new light on the unusual 2019 attempt by private security companies to insert Western military experts and weapons into Libya on behalf of Khalifa Hifter, the commander of a rebel army in eastern Libya who is seeking to take control of the country with the backing of Egypt, Russia and the United Arab Emirates. The plan, the subject of a U.N. report, underscores a weapons-proliferation challenge that Biden administration officials have vowed to confront: the flow of U.S. arms and equipment into Middle Eastern war zones, aided at times by U.S. allies as well as soldiers of fortune. Among other lines of inquiry, U.N. officials have investigated the role of Erik Prince, the Blackwater founder and private military contractor who officials allege tried to use his personal influence to help secure the release of military equipment bound for Libya. Any transfer of U.S.-made military aircraft and heavy weapons to a third party is a potential violation of U.N. arms embargoes as well as U.S. laws governing foreign military sales. But U.S. and U.N. investigators are examining multiple incidents involving different types of American-made military hardware, including C-17 transport planes and Javelin antitank missiles, that ended up in Libya or Yemen, according to current and former U.S. and U.N. officials familiar with the investigations who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence.

Not one to simply draw criticisms, the pro-active Sunstein laid out five possible strategies which the social engineers managing the population could deploy to defuse this growing threat saying: “(1) Government might ban conspiracy theorizing. (2) Government might impose some kind of tax, financial or otherwise, on those who disseminate such theories. (3) Government might itself engage in counter speech, marshaling arguments to discredit conspiracy theories. (4) Government might formally hire credible private parties to engage in counter speech. (5) Government might engage in informal communication with such parties, encouraging them to help”. Guess they're not out to get you, until they're out to get you.

You are correct, red states will help them pack their bags and should hand them the congressional and senate votes to make this dream come true. Newman then seeks to convey the gravity of the matter. “We face a mounting constitutional crisis—one that, in turn, amplifies the crises of voter suppression, racial and economic inequality, and climate change—with a majority will that is repeatedly thwarted by minority rule in every aspect of policy. “Ultimately, building a serious blue-state threat to secede is the only way to end this crisis and create a nation based on equal representation for all,” he concludes.

More control over the economy and those that use it. Imagine receiving digital currency through your FED account that is linked to the chip in your hand. They can monitor where you spend and on what. Additionally, they can decide to code a digital currency with a kill switch only good for two weeks so you better spend it or lose it. thus increasing the velocity of money and the rate at which we consume. Not only that, they can designate where you can use those stimulus coins at certain business types and within a certain time frame. They can decide who is most deserving of these coins and distribute accordingly under the radar. You would not know which citizens recieve federal aide. Tax collection would be a bonus for them as they could tax each paycheck in real time and with each sale tranaction you perform. No need to wait til April to collect money and pay your tribute. Thus they can increase the velocity at which product is produced and your consumption. Remember, they can guide where these coins can be used as well. DECENTRALIZE NOW.
