https://www.chron.com/news/article/Germany-seizes-server-hosting-pilfered-U-S-15396234.php The documents came to light via a breach of Houston web-design company Netsential, which hosts portals for law enforcement agencies and “fusion centers,” state-run operations created after the 9/11 attacks to share threat intelligence with local and state police and private-sector partners. Best said they assume the seizure was related to the posting of the BlueLeaks documents. They said the files show “a lot of things that are entirely legal and normal and horrifying,” including police surveillance and police intelligence of dubious origin. Best said none were classified. The document dump helps expose “the United States’ overdeveloped police intelligence apparatus,” said Brendan McQuade, a criminology professor at the University of Southern Maine who has viewed the documents. The files do not include high-level intelligence but provide a window into the relationship between law enforcement at all levels, he said — one that he believes the FBI doesn’t want the public to see lest it ”add more fuel to the protests” against police brutality and racism in policing. Best said the files remain publicly accessible through more complicated means such as BitTorrent and the Tor network, both of which complicate censorship efforts. Best said the organization is now rebuilding its infrastructure for public access. “All they cost us is time,” they said.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-53341768 César Duarte, a former Mexican state governor who became a fugitive, has been arrested in Miami after more than three years on the run. Mr Duarte, governor of Chihuahua until 2016, fled after he was accused of embezzling public funds. He now faces extradition to Mexico, where he faces corruption charges. The arrest came as Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador paid an official visit to the US for talks with President Trump.

She has until next Tuesday to try. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/what-now-prince-andrew-royal-faces-scrutiny-after-ghislaine-maxwell-n1232905 LONDON — As the lurid headlines swirl in the wake of the arrest of Jeffrey Epstein's longtime confidant Ghislaine Maxwell, questions again are surging over what comes next for Britain's Prince Andrew, who is caught up in the high-profile affair. Maxwell, a British socialite, is behind bars at a detention center in Brooklyn, New York, and is expected to appear in court in New York next Tuesday, having been arrested in New Hampshire last week. She will face charges on four counts in connection with the trafficking of a minor for criminal sexual activity and two counts of perjury. Maxwell, 58, has not entered a plea, but has long denied any wrongdoing. Her attorney declined to comment after her arrest.

The decision, authored by Justice Mark Warby of the High Court of England and Wales, was Steele's first major court loss. "This allegation clearly called for closer attention, a more enquiring approach and more energetic checking," Warby wrote. "Orbis failed to take reasonable steps in this regard, and to that extent, a breach of the Fourth Principle is established." The "Fourth Principle" refers to a portion of the law penalizing the dissemination of inaccurate information. The dossier made additional inaccurate claims, including that the pair provided foreign policy advice to Putin, the judge found.

Nunes listed on his 2018 public financial disclosure forms roles as a limited partner with investments in Phase 2 Cellars in San Luis Obispo, California, and Alpha Omega Winery in Saint Helena, California. The PPP data shows the wineries received loans of $1 million to $2 million. Planned Parenthood chapters across the country received loans, drawing the ire of conservatives. Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York received $2 million to $5 million. A Scranton, Pennsylvania, law firm employing the wife of Rep. Matt Cartwright, D-Pa., as a partner. The Munley law firm, where Marion Munley is a partner, received $350,000 to $1 million.

The system falls back to defend itself. Screw the citizenry. https://www.yahoo.com/news/least-2-shooters-wanted-death-070008629.html ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia's governor on Monday declared a state of emergency and authorized the activation of up to 1,000 National Guard troops after a weekend of violence in Atlanta left five people dead, including an 8-year-old girl. A statement from Gov. Brian Kemp’s office says troops will provide support at certain locations including the Capitol and governor’s mansion, freeing up state law enforcement resources to patrol other areas. “Peaceful protests were hijacked by criminals with a dangerous, destructive agenda. Now, innocent Georgians are being targeted, shot, and left for dead,” the Republican governor said. “This lawlessness must be stopped and order restored in our capital city.”

Pro Democracy Books are Banned. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/05/democracy-activists-books-unavailable-in-hong-kong-libraries.html Books by prominent Hong Kong pro-democracy figures have become unavailable in the Chinese-ruled city’s public libraries as they are being reviewed to see whether they violate a new national security law, a government department said on Sunday. The sweeping legislation, which came into force on Tuesday night at the same time its contents were published, punishes crimes related to secession, subversion, terrorism and collusion with foreign forces, with punishments of up to life in prison. Hong Kong public libraries “will review whether certain books violate the stipulations of the National Security Law,” the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, which runs the libraries, said in a statement.

O'l Joe is quiet but the Left isn't. Calls for cuts or strict conditions to Israeli aid. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/democrats-demonstrable-leftist-turn-hurts-israel-and-us-security/ar-BB16miIW?ocid=msedgntp This week, a letter signed by several left-leaning lawmakers - initiated by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and signed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) as well as members of "the Squad" of freshman representatives, including Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) -called for U.S. military aid to Israel to be conditioned and cut in response to Israel's plan to annex parts of the West Bank. The letter - which has been met with criticism by pro-Israel groups and lawmakers - called to "condition the $3.8 billion in U.S. military funding to Israel to ensure that U.S. taxpayers are not supporting annexation in any way" and said that annexation "would lay the groundwork for Israel becoming an apartheid state."

I'm waiting to see if these two die. I can't wait to see the SJW's scream for justice of two white women run over by a black man. Will they burn cities down? will they defund automobiles? Will they demand compensation from BLM? thus defunding BLM?
