It's stupid to assert that only the large institutional firms can pay the gigantic bills. If it costs more to mine than the value received by mining, nobody would mine regardless. For months we've been talking about how the "free" electricity in Venezuela made it one of the few places left to mine cost-effectively. Who was this article written for?

Modern American PC culture cries out for tales of victimization. You aren't somebody unless you're a victim. You’re an outsider if you aren’t a member of the #metoo club. There is a lot of peer pressure to join. Being a victim is now a social status symbol. How can you get those pats on the back, and the mass outpouring a fake empathy (“so sorry” “I feel for you”) from totals strangers unless you are admitted into their victim club. Everyone is a victim. If you don’t have a good victim story one you make it up or create a hoax.

So she sent threats to herself. She created a hoax. She lied. But all that's not important. Its the message that's important. Feelings are what matters. She may be the victim of her own threats, her own lies, her own hoax, and her own delusion. But she is still the victim. Therefore you have to believe her.

From Pepe Escobar:"MBS IS ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE TO BUY ERDOGANAccording to the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Hakan Cakil, MBS “has offered to pay $5 billion in bribes to President Erdogan to drop the investigation into Khashoggi’s fate.” So now you all know how that "joint Turkish-Saudi" team will "investigate" what really happened. Or not. As I wrote before, this is an offer Erdogan CAN refuse. He will ask for a MUCH bigger pound of flesh." And also this: "One of my top House of Saud-related sources confirmed it - once again: Khashoggi was CIA - and no wonder the CIA WaPo is up in arms.Quite a few CIA senior ops are also after MBS prime WhatsApp pal Jared. The narrative is that Jared alerted MBS that Khashoggi was a danger. Other CIA ops were already in uproar when MBS pulled his Ritz-Carlton jail stunt - accusing Jared of TREASON: giving away CIA files on dissidents in the royal family which were CIA agents. That led to their deaths or arrests or at least forking out billions. This is the real game: civil war at the top. The Trump clan vs. the CIA. Everything else is smoke and mirrors."

Saudis confirm Khashoggi was CIA asset. Now we know why CIA WaPo got all bent out of shape over this murder, while giving complete silence as the Saud’s commit mass murder in Yemen, and the Israeli IDF makes a hobby out of shooting journalist in Gaza.

The title of WaPo article is the incredulous, "Thanks for not raping us, all you ‘good men.’ But it’s not enough." And no, its not the Onion. So here are some upcoming Victoria Bissell Brown article titles: Thanks for not making false rape claims, all you ‘good women.’ But it’s not enough. Thanks for not raping us, all you ‘good immigrants.’ But it’s not enough. Thanks for not blowing us up, all you ‘good Muslims.’ But it’s not enough. Thanks for not robbing us, all you ‘good black men.’ But it’s not enough. Thanks for not graffiti-ing my house us, all you ‘good Latinos.’ But it’s not enough. Sorry, I don't believe in magic. Nothing has changed. As Ron Paul says, to get rid of the debt we have to either raise taxes, cut spending, or inflate away the debt. Looks like the plan is #3

Yup. Killing H1Bs would kill competitiveness for many US companies. They'd be forced to relocate or outsource overseas. It would be damaging to U.S. Even with the H1B, U.S. tech still suffers from a dearth of available tech competent American workers - Chemistry, physics, engineering. H1Bs are not undercutting U.S. workers. In fact the skills and work ethics of H1B workers are so desirable that they are earning more than equivalent U.S. workers , not even counting the additional costs for relocation and legal work for the visa processing. Walk into any post graduate tech and science programs in the U.S. Universities or even many just bachelor engineering programs. You'll witness them dominated by foreign students. They can't even recruit enough Americans into the programs. U.S. students are far more interested in majoring in political science, communication, marketing, humanities, business, management, sociology, psychology, history, English, general studies, liberal arts, criminal justice, etc. U.S. students en masse are not interested in pursuing demanding tech degrees. Overwhelmingly U.S. high school students lack the necessary science and mathematics to succeed in such programs. Very few high school graduates have even been exposed to any proficient level of calculus. Most lack any math proficiency beyond rudimentary algebra skills. U.S. culture programs its youth that other endeavors are far more important and desirable like sports, music, entertainment, virtue signalling, social statusing, protesting, getting triggered, We are not talking about unskilled, uneducated, unvetted illegal immigrants here. We are talking about the ability to be able to recruit from the best talent from what the entire world can produce. That is an amazing competitive advantage. If anything, to make America greater, Trump should raise the cap on H1B visa. Fortunately , Trump won't scrap the H1B. He can't, as Congress write the laws. Even if he had the power he wouldn't, despite all the bluster.

"On foreign aid, that should be the easiest thing to cut. It's not authorized in the Constitution that we can take money from you and give it to particular countries around the world. To me, foreign aid is taking money from poor people in this country and giving it to rich people in poor countries." - Dr. Ron Paul

Yes it is. Foreign welfare is wrong in principal. Taxation is theft. Using theft for wealth redistribution, bribery, cronyism, market distortion, whatever - its still theft. Wrong. Taxation is theft. Entertaining the very concept that its Ok to steal to "spend on things we overlords deem good for you" is a net loss for liberty. Entertaining the notion that government knows best how to spend your earnings is a net loss for liberty. Taxation is always theft.

More American lunatic than foreign. The former U.S. National Security Advisor and Harvard professor came to North America at the age of 10 , getting all his secondary and higher education in Canada and U.S. Its just too bad our lunatic president and his lunatic neocon cabinet and all the rest of the Washington lunatic neocons keep following the lunatic Brzezinski playbook like its some holy religious dogma. but its rather telling that what Brzezinski warned would end U.S. hegemony is exactly what the neocons have brought about following his playbook.

More on Facebook actin as Censor Arm of Deep State: Internet Censorship Just Took An Unprecedented Leap Forward, And Hardly Anyone Noticed While most indie media was focused on debating the way people talk about Kanye West and the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, an unprecedented escalation in internet censorship took place which threatens everything we all care about. It received frighteningly little attention. After a massive purge of hundreds of politically oriented pages and personal accounts for “inauthentic behavior”, Facebook rightly received a fair amount of criticism … What received relatively little attention was the far more ominous step which was taken next: within hours of being purged from Facebook, multiple anti-establishment alternative media sites had their accounts completely removed from Twitter as well. … large alternative media outlets which were expelled from both platforms at almost the same time: Anti-Media, the Free Thought Project, and Police the Police, all of whom had millions of followers on Facebook. Both the Editor-in-Chief of Anti-Media and its Chief Creative Officer were also banned by Twitter … It is now clear that there is either (A) some degree of communication/coordination between Twitter and Facebook about their respective censorship practices, or (B) information being given to both Twitter and Facebook by another party regarding targets for censorship. … there is now some some mechanism in place linking the censorship of dissident voices across multiple platforms. We are beginning to see smaller anti-establishment alternative media outlets cut off from their audiences … first witnessed with Alex Jones in August. …

Global Boycott of Saudi Investment Summit Accelerates After Journalist's Disappearance What the mass slaughter of civilians and even bombing a school bus full of children in Yemen couldn't do, the murder of one of their own did: a growing list of major media companies have declared they are pulling out of a high profile investment summit in Riyadh … over the alleged Saudi state murder of Washington Post columnist and Saudi "insider" critic Jamal Khashoggi. So far the list of media sponsors declaring their withdrawal … include the Financial Times, Bloomberg, CNN and CNBC, … president of the World Bank, Jim Yong Kim, … Some companies that were slated to attend have indicated they are withdrawing … Sir Richard Branson has halted discussions with Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund about a planned $1bn investment … He has also suspended his participation in two advisory boards. Though we should note that the continued US-Saudi coalition carpet bombing of civilian areas in Yemen is still hardly receiving mention at all.
