People on Twitter were posting photos trying to prove Trump is lying about his height too. Apparently it's racist to claim to be taller than Obama if you're not, or something.

I see it both ways. Quite weary of art as a whole primarily because of the artists who won't shut up about politics. OTOH, so many great songs come from anti-war sentiment.

To any/all who are completely 'confused' by the complexities and 'allegiances' (we've talked about this before) understand that there is and was FIERCE competition for 'who' surrounds the President. The primary players are a competing 'mafia' of influence between the 'DoS/CIA', the Pentagon and Israel. They must 'share' the 'pie' of course (they cooperate/quid pro quo) but... the bigger the 'piece' the more they control. They are ALL about protecting their 'turf'... and THAT ultimately translates to money to the downstream lines (legal or illegal). The State Dept/CIA have been in control for 8 years during Obama and had become entrenched. Hillary was their continuing ticket and hence their effort at 'insurance' in the 2016 election. Now Trump is suddenly surrounded by Generals/Pentagon. Kushner represents the Zionist wing.

I believe this to be completely wrong. Bannon is covering his OWN ass... not Donald's. I believe he is avoiding 'lines of inquiry' into his 'intelligence background'...

Pentagon Proposes Nuclear First-Strikes to Counter Cyberattacks on the Pentagon’s new Nuclear Posture Review ... the details continue to slowly emerge, and show a scramble to establish more pretexts for nuclear first strikes. This includes cyberattacks.... Pentagon’s document proposes the use of nuclear first strikes against cyber foes, presenting that as the only “realistic” option to such threats. ... Which is another problem. US assignments of blame in cyberattacks are rarely grounded in evidence or reality, but rather they blame whoever is politically expedient at the time, whether it’s Russia, China, or North Korea. Such reckless blame is relatively consequence-free when the US just responds with angry threats, but nuclear strikes could quickly start massive, civilization ending nuclear warfare. Making nuclear war more likely is the general theme of the Nuclear Posture Review ... The Trump Administration has spent its entire time in power easing restrictions on the military, and giving commanders more and more leeway on their operations. It might not be such a surprise for that to spill over into nuclear weapon policy.

Apple Music edited Mensa's music video to delete scenes or blur any background images identifiable as Palestine out of the original video. Further Apple actually deleted words from the song cutting out any mention of Palestine. Apple still left in scenes and reference to Ferguson, native Americans, Charlottesville, and US police, but Apple Music completely erased from the artist's video and song of any traces of reference to Palestine. More on the Apple suppression of the artist's nessage The original full video:

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Tuesday called on NATO to take a stance against the United States ... over its plans to form a 30,000-strong Kurdish-led border security force in Syria. Erdogan Monday accused the United States of creating an “army of terror” in Syria along the border with Turkey, and vowed to crush the U.S.-backed border force. ... Erdogan questioned NATO’s stance on the issue, saying, “Hey NATO! You are obliged to take a stance against those who harass and violate the borders of your members.” The coalition has said the new force, expected to reach 30,000 in the next several years, is a key element of its strategy in Syria to prevent the resurgence of Daesh in Syria. ... Turkey has sent reinforcements to its border in recent weeks and Erdogan said this week that Turkish troops were already firing artillery at Afrin from the border.

These are 'color of law' operations. The 'local' enforcement use them to simply obtain 'convictions'. The Feds via JTTF/Fusion Centers use these operations for entrapment, reprisals and intimidation. If you're 'important'... they 'own' you forever. If you're not 'important'.. they seize your assets. You're 'guilty' so you never say a word.

The government class is a protected privileged class. Can you imagine if a private citizen accidentally sent a message to say a hospital or school that there was a bomb there about to go off, and they freaked and evacuated the building, and then the citizen waited nearly 40 minutes to tell them it was a mistake. What would happen to that citizen? Would the government say, oh just a mistake, and protect their identity? They'd be seeking long time prison terms. Yet, when a member of the elite government class commits the largest bomb scare ever, not only no charges, but no punishment and protects that person, and the complicit superiors that authorized and approved the system that made such a mistake so easy and thus likely.

Dillon mentioned that this army will be provided with both theoretical and technical information as well as military training and high-tech equipment. ... “Washington holds that Turkey's interests should be confined to Turkish borders, and the U.S. interests extend to the whole world. ... first and foremost, such a policy is directed against Iran. “But it's also against Turkey. This nuclear first strike policy is insanely dangerous. Even if you trusted Trump and his advisers to exercise extreme wisdom, insight and judgment in the use of nuclear first strike (which no one should), this policy still opens the door for the next Trump or Hillary and every future president, administration or neocon infiltrated cabinet to initiate nuclear using nuclear weapons as a response to It is a propaganda campaign to make use of nuclear weapons acceptable to the public. As McAdams points out they call them "low yield" or tactical nukes to make it sound more acceptable for destroying other nations. Keep in mind the nightmare infernos dropped are Hiroshima and Nagasaki are super low yield nukes compared to today's technology. It sends a message to every other nation on the planet that they can be targeted with nuclear weapons by the US. It tells them they must get their own weapons. After witnessing Washington destruction of Libya, Syria, Yugoslavia, and regime changes in Ukraine and others, any nation that has ever disagreed with Washington policy on anything or ever may must get their own nuclear weapons as defense to Washington's nuclear first strike policy. This is worse than bad policy. It is obscenely insane.

Its true. Considering USA is an English speaking nation, it is completely absurd to show a preference for immigrants that have made the effort to become proficient in English. Its so much more advantageous to not know English in an English speaking country. For immigrants coming to the USA preference should be given to those that took the time to become proficient in Russian and Chinese. That makes so much more sense.
