Now that Macron brought this main stage, here is my rebuttal. Patriotism is about fighting to defend your country, usually militarily. Nationalism is about not sacrificing your citizens, not being run by lunatics from across the globe, and reinvokes federalism and subsidiarity. The only problem with nationalism is how much further we need to decentralize. I pray one day we can get past the nationalism vs globalism debate and focus on localism vs nationalism. Any ad hominem attacks (which is all they are) on nationalism are meant to shut up and smear people in order to prevent them from having the real conversations the globalists don't want you to have.

The best shot the left has to take out Trump is Bernie Sanders. Everyone else who dare does head-to-head against Trump ends up looking like a fool. Bernie is a fool, but not in the embarrassing sense.

I don't care if Pruitt buys the fanciest private jet on earth with taxpayer money...this dude is a true conservative! Are we really supposed to believe he is gone forever? Bring him back!

This was a fantastic interview even with the horrible audio. If you just want to hear a clip, skip to about 14:28. Talks about the three planks of Trump's agenda: economic nationalism, America first national security, deconstructing the administrative state...which Bannon explains: "And what that means, is taking this government, massive government bureaucracy, the leviathan apart brick by brick, and that's what he's doing, it's much deeper than deregulation, it's actually taking apart these agencies and getting them out of this kind of nanny state involvement in people's lives." How many advisors to Presidents have ever publicly talked about getting rid swaths of agencies? Seems like Bannon is convinced that if Trump can hold the fort, that we haven't seen anything yet.

I didn't learn anything new here, except that the establishment was shocked Bannon won, and post-debate said that their voting operator made an "error" and in actuality, nobody changed their minds, and the "real" final tally was a 74% rejection of Bannon. That Bannon won was not shocking...if you follow him it's easy to notice he wins minds over whenever he speaks. He is certainly not a libertarian, but light years better than 99% of politicians today. The economist interview was much better, he got attacked way worse and when he gets a chance to defend himself, it is a beautiful thing to watch.

It is good, Tucker is a good dude. Also check him out on Rubin Report just last week. He's not a libertarian, but he is far and away the most antiwar person in MSM. He occasionally says some stupid things, but they are trivial compared to the important issues. He is an ally, no doubt.

I also like the other interpretation of Cultural Marxism...brainwashed idiots too dumb to realize they're secretly advocating for communism.

I forget which Liberty Report it was, sometime in the last year, where Ron and Dan had a discussion on open borders. If I recall correctly, this was an issue that didn't exist at all in Ron's career, and what Ron said now is that however you feel, this is still a symptom of the welfare state. He is for open borders only if there is no welfare state, because then nobody would come in the first place.

Trump may be God's gift to Rand, and by extension, libertarians. Rand can run as Trump's protege, promising to restore liberty even further. An endorsement from Trump would be monumental! I'm sick of the nitpicking regarding what Rand may or may not do. I would rather live in a country where I complain about Rand as prez, than complain about anyone else.

Here is the beauty of Trump cutting spending. He called for 5% but implied he would like to see more from some agencies. Underpromising, overdelivering. A successful cut this year (which will be a record) will have Trump wanting to beat that record next year. And for five successive years after that. If Trump couples this with bringing a significant part of the military home and more tax cuts, it will be very significant.

From a libertarian perspective, what is the right solution? Legalize via amendment or revoke Schedule I and leave it up to the states? Why did Trump have to wait two years? Does he think he needs more Republicans to pull it off? Could this be part of a broader FU to the UN, given Schedule I is their baby? My personal view...give states the choice, but natural law comes before state interference, and smoking weed is your natural right, so legalize the hell out of it. My only problem with this is another amendment, another law, to clarify what is already ours. Perhaps in the long run it might be better to let states deal with it so we won't have to add to the Constitution. I'm also worried about the "trap door," as Kanye would say, that a new law would bring. Though it's hard to imagine it being worse than what we have now.

This was the dumbest political move I have ever seen. It is so pathetic and absurd, I have to question who told her to do this. This is something you'd expect from a republican double agent.
