He's saying the electoral college endows 102 Senate votes in addition to the 435 we would have strictly based on population; and if you remove those Senate votes (of which Trump won +18) , then Trump still would have won by +56, without any need for the Senate votes. So the electoral college "advantage" didn't even kick in here.

So if you get rid of the rid of the Senate EC votes, and the remaining electors (House) vote exactly in accordance with their party, then the left would get exactly what they want...a pure popular vote election...and victory for Trump!! So going into 2016: 435 house members Rs +59 (246 republican/187 democrat) Trump wins by 74 (306-232) 74 - 18 EC vote advantage = 56 So absent the EC, Trump wins by 56, but also, the country won, based on who they elected to the House, because the House aka the population, would have voted Republican by a 59 vote advantage, like the country did.

I don't understand...if Trump wins NJ, which has 14 votes, but two dem senators, it's not like Trump gets 12 votes and Hillary gets 2, right? Or is Massie referring to what it should be if state legislature elected senators?

1109145324290035712 Can someone explain this to me? Trump won 306-232. He won 30 states and Killary won 21 (DC inclusive). So a net of +18 votes for Trump without regard to population. But this ignores the other votes states get (winning Florida gave him all 29 of their votes, not just 2).

I'm against ED, but everyone has a price, and if the government wants the land, they must offer that price. Anything less is basically civil asset forfeiture.

He talks about how it's not 1875 and ending the fed and going back on the gold standard cannot be achieved politically...he mentioned eliminating legal tender laws and taxation on gold and silver So if he took over today, is that all he would do? It's a lot better than what we have now, but not exactly ending the fed or returning to gold. My guess is that he feels it is hopeless and the best we can do now is make it easy for people to prepare for the worst.

this exoneration mumbo jumbo works both ways...usually they find the criminal guilty, then exonerate him...see hillary clinton nevertheless, the idea that you need to qualify an innocent person as not exonerated is nothing short of a pure smear, and in this case, a cover-up to explain their failure to indict someone on a charge that never existed, nor is a crime by law. the mental illness of people who don't understand not charging Trump IS the exoneration...this is why "words matter" to them, to spin reality as their corporatist overlords see fit.

Alex has a massive interview with Joe in studio on Monday. I'd be lying if I knew what angle Joe was playing here. He knows a ton about MMA and DMT, relatively little about most else. Yet he acts like the arbiter of information, knowledge, etc. When he had Eric Weinstein on he was flabbergasted when he learned that exponential functions beat squares. Something you learn in 10th grade. He's a moron who thinks he knows science. From the episodes I've seen, he is scientifically illiterate. I'm not saying he's dumb; he's actually very talented. Very talented at BSing, for sure. When you watch what he said about Alex before Alex returned to his podcast; when you watch the original interview with Jack Dorsey; when you see him recite MSM globalist talking points...you think to yourself, how could he be so stupid and ill-informed. And then I realized he is not stupid. He's playing along somehow, whether he's totally in on it or merely complying to prevent a bad turn of events for his career. But then he had Alex on, and it was "Oh my God, I'm so sorry Alex, you were right, I'm an a**hole" spiel. And he hosted an amazing interview which I'm sure outraged leftists, let alone censors. Now he is the self-titled free speech crusader visiting Alex in Texas and whatever they talk about on Monday, I'm sure it will cause trouble.

It seems like every week a vegan influencer is coming out as not vegan... This chick came out, her vegan lifestyle was a horror show, everything was bad for her/dangerous, she even talks about how environmentally toxic Hawaii was for her health! Hawaii..what a toxic sh*thole...she would have had better health in Fukushima!! For 35 mins she puts her mental illness on display as she needs to justify her reasons to eat meat, then at the end she says "remember, you are more than what you eat!" Also says her "Raw Alignment" movement was never about veganism, so the movement can carry on without it!! Honestly...these people are describing death...health problems galore like you've never seen...if I felt even the slightest bit off from any diet I would ditch it immediately...yet vegans embrace the suffering as a badge of honor...until they have 100 badges and are mentally ill.

How did Seattle get so bad? No state tax, big economy, legal cannabis. Not exactly an enemy of liberty. Yet socialist culture and homeless all over. So what happened. Is it more than just importing Californians? Seattle was not like this in the 90s.

There absolutely exists a tyranny of the minority. It's called the minority rule. “The Most Intolerant Wins: The Dictatorship of the Small Minority” by Nassim Nicholas Taleb https://link.medium.com/Z2EZRAlbfV I highly recommend people read all of Taleb's works.

This was awesome. Ron was amazing, he is in superb physical shape. At 8:00 he gets into the wall, I think he is a lot more into the wall than some here would like to admit, believes protecting borders is the one of the few things government should be doing. Ron looked tremendous.

Say the budget is 5 trillion (rounded for simplicity) and the deficit is estimated at 1 trillion. So taxes reportedly will cover 80% of spending. I have a hard time believing 5T is all we're spending. Yes, it's monstrous, but I would not expect the off-budget spending to be anywhere near immaterial. No amount of hidden spending/printing would surprise me. So if $5 trillion is the public budget, how high do you think the total budget is?

If I believed she was sincere about anti-war, she would get serious consideration from me. I would think long and hard about accepting her socialist lunacy in exchange for bringing the troops home. I think many libertarians would. But the probability of her sincerity, by my calculation, is lower than 1996 Carmen Elektra blowing off Dennis Rodman for yours truly.

Trump seems fine with letting Manafort hang AND his lifelong friend Roger. I'm not sure if he could do anything, but the silence is disappointing. Trump doesn't defend many civilians, certainly not from censorship. And if he doesn't defend Roger, who besides his kin does he care to defend?
