The FBI building is old and needs replacing. Plans were being developed to build a new bigger building at a new location and turn the old site over to a developer. Trump was interested. The idea was to build the new building in the suburbs where they could get enough land to make it big enough and when that was done, the old one could be torn down and replaced. This site happens to be near Trump's Post Office International Hotel. Once he became President, he was no longer allowed to be part of any such project. Suddenly the decision to move was changed and a new proposal to build a new building on the current site is in place. That would prevent anybody else from building a hotel or other development right across from Trump's. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/10/18/us/politics/fbi-headquarters-building-trump.html More at link.

You are right. Trump only talks about love and forgiveness. Turn the other cheek and all that. Be kind to people. Let me grab another glass of Kool-Aid and celebrate.

So if you toss a tomato at somebody it will be OK for me to knock the hell out of you. That would be a reasonable response on my part. "Knock the crap" is one strike? In another event, a peaceful protester is escorted out. Trump says he should be taken out on a stretcher. "I'd like to punch him in the face!" Again, a very disproportionate response encouraging excessive violence. But Trump can do no wrong. He doesn't encourage any violence. That is those other guys!

Out of context? Here is the context. The "beat the crap" comment concerned if somebody threw a tomato. That is not a "reasonable" response. Nobody was throwing any tomatoes. Nobody was being violent. https://newrepublic.com/minutes/128896/beat-protester-trumps-rally-hell-cover-legal-fees

Legally, "self defense" requires a proportional response minimal to get yourself out of the situation. Saying somebody should "beat the crap" out of somebody who did not hit you is not self defense. It must be "reasonable". https://www.foxnews.com/politics/greg-gianforte-fox-news-team-witnesses-gop-house-candidate-body-slam-reporter Fox News report of the incident (they witnessed it): Audio of the attack:

Italy: Steve Bannon opens first 'academy for populists' in Collepardo a remote religious retreat in Collepardo, Italy, which is to become the headquarters of Steve Bannon’s latest project in Europe, the ‘Academy for the Judeo-Christian West.’ The Trisulti Monastery, which will host about 250-300 students, is the "University" where the next generation of right-wing populist leaders will be shaped.

Headline in the OP is misleading. It is true that a minority would vote to remain in the EU but about half as many as that said they would vote to leave the EU. A majority did NOT vote in favor of leaving the EU- less than a quarter of those polled did. Actual numbers: Would Vote To Remain in the EU: 44% Would Vote To Leave The EU: 24% Not Sure: 32% So among those expressing an opinion, 35% said they would vote to leave the EU and 65% said they would vote to remain. https://www.thelocal.it/20181017/italy-eu-eurosceptic-italexit-brexit

Farage pushes for Brexit and then quits as soon as it is passed so he won't have to deal with or get the blame for the hard stuff of actually trying to do it. Just a publicity hound.

Republicans tend to vote Republican and Democrats tend to vote Democratic. The question is which way are the independents voting? Plus that is only one (Conservative) state. Independents (slightly) outnumber each party in Arizona. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2016/11/02/early_voting_a_poor_predictor_of_final_results.html More at link.

Perhaps they are looking towards the future and not just this year- giving their rookie time to learn. I remember John Elway did pretty poorly for a few seasons before he finally got things going and became a Hall of Famer. In his first season he had seven TDs and 14 interceptions over eleven games with 1,600 yards and a QB rating of 54.

The Khashoggi Atrocity Won’t Stop Trump’s Drive for War With Iran Symbolic punishment will be designed to protect the policy of provocation. .. But one thing is unlikely to change as a result of a brazen killing of a regime critic: the Trump administration’s warmongering policy toward Iran. The emerging damage control story—that Khashoggi died during “an interrogation that went wrong”—is designed to protect the strategic alliance that seeks to confront the Islamic Republic, say Iran experts. “That’s why you’re seeing the administration working with Saudi Arabia come up with some kind of plausible explanation that limits the damage to the bilateral relationship,” … “The Saudis are the driving force behind the policy of confronting Iran, not the United States,” … “The United States does not need to have this policy of confrontation with Iran, because the nuclear deal was working. So while the United States needs Saudi Arabia to confront Iran, it actually doesn’t need to confront Iran at all.” … But that’s not going to happen given the Trump administration’s belligerence toward Iran. … This is exactly the aggressive policy that Saudi Arabia has encouraged ever since Jared Kushner took over his father-in-law’s Middle East policy and bonded with MBS …

Trump vows U.S. will not ‘walk away from Saudi Arabia’ amid pressure to respond to Jamal Khashoggi’s alleged murder President Donald Trump said Wednesday he would not rupture America’s long-standing alliance with Saudi Arabia over the disappearance and possible murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi despite mounting international and domestic pressure. “We’re not going to walk away from Saudi Arabia,” Trump told Fox Business Network. “I don’t want to do that.” Trump implied that only if the top echelon of Saudi Arabia's royal family were implicated would he find it necessary to punish the country. ... ---- In his recent interview with CBS 60 Minutes, Trump specifically cites the needs of US weapons manufacturers as reasons to keep US arms flowing to the Saudi regime, even if it ends up being responsible for the murder of Khashoggi: "They are ordering military equipment. Everybody in the world wanted that order. Russia wanted it, China wanted it, we wanted it…I tell you what I don’t wanna do. Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon, all these …I don’t wanna hurt jobs. I don’t wanna lose an order like that." ----

Two of those TDs were interception returns. One was also one play- a 64 yard TD pass. Arizona has had the ball twice as long as Denver has at this point.

  1. You know these random, shooting ******s are murdering for the State. They never target State buildings. They never hit banks, news stations, or broadcasters. They never shoot youtube, twitter, or facebook, unless people aren't watching their vegan, virtue signalling videos. They never walk into military posts and start firing, despite their sometime suicidal disposition. Its all fucked.

AF's (Ass Face) getting all pissy again in the vent and blaming me for some shit. Doesn't he have a life to live? I really honestly cannot sympathize with people that consistently complain about the state of the world and grumble over the fact that everyone else isn't doing the same. If he hates the universe so much for not conforming to his standards that's not my problem.
