You're a political neophyte if you don't understand why these fights that make no real world difference whatsoever are the most crucial. And why government can never, ever work right, yet we can't live without it.
Amazing how often over the course of my life, misinformation has been presented to me in that exact way.
Play along or I'm not one of the cool kids? Fine. I'm not one of the cool kids. I'm an old fart who is sick of paying people to make noise and inconvenience their neighbors through taxation.
Of course.
Are you really such a babe in the woods that you think nobody pays people to protest? Dude. Right now there are protesters all over Columbia U all staying in brand new, identical tents.
Are you trying to tell me that's organic? Going to give me a coincidence theory to cover it?
Of course there are protests. They're probably synchronized with the international MSM's visits, too, so the powers that be don't have to pay overtime.
You may scoff at football analogies all you want, but there really is no better analogy for Republican politicians. The way you win is, you reach the other team's goal as often as possible while trying to prevent anyone from achieving your goal. As long as we let money drive elections, that will always describe the lot of "limited government candidates".
That’s pretty much been the pattern for at least the last almost half-century that I’ve been involved if you just replace “Trump” with “Republican.” The game is rigged and the only way to win a rigged game is not to play.
Not to mention the fact that it isn’t weird that Biden is doing it at all. The left, progressives etc. have a very long history of being 100% in support of protectionist trade policies. He just wants us to forget that because it doesn’t support his agenda.
Exactly.

It's easier and faster to complete a two thousand long mile construction project across the desert than to get Congress to stop giving money to enemies of the country.
OK. If it's that quick and easy, go do it.
But those with a deranged view of Trump, whether they think he's worse than he is or think he's a damned sight better than he is, won't stop trying to gaslight us.
They wish.
No, oyarde is right. The Fed isn't even like Band Aid, which fixes nothing but covers things up well. The Fed is more like methamphetamines. You forget about your problems for a little while, but when you wake up they're worse.

And Miss Lindsay Graham says Johnson couldn't have done it without Trump.
