Come, come. Surely you already understand what I'm getting at. You deride a bulletproof T-shirt for being insufficiently bulky and heavy and its users, or perhaps even anyone interested in it, for being too "girly" to handle "real man" bulletproof gear with heavy plates and such. And yes, I understand you were saying it jokingly -- don't take me too seriously! But still. If they are girly for wearing a lighter-weight but still bulletproof shirt, what does that say about your girliness if you're wearing something lighter-still and not even bullet proof at all? Mmm? :D The point of making a thin, wearable garment that is bullet-resistant is to enable it to be worn a greater percentage of the time, and perhaps in certain situations, especially social ones, where a full-blown vest would be either impractical or seen as improper, thus providing greater coverage and greater protection. It's sort of like a handgun, eh? Not much good compared to a .308 battle rifle. Can't do much at a distance. It would be ideal if we all carried .308 battle rifles on our backs at all times, at work, at school, and whenever out in public. Yes? However, for when you don't want to tote your rifle, can come pretty handy, yes? So we can talk about what a crummy weapon -- class of weapons -- all handguns are, or... we could not. Count me in the "not" category. But I do understand your point of view. The Boy Scouts know: Thou Shalt Prepare. The best vest is the one you wear.

The fact of the matter is that I was banned from the internet for a joke, that while being obviously offensive, was nothing more or less than a joke. Although explaining a joke kills the fun of it, I think at this point, this having become one of the most infamous jokes in history – and a joke which has in fact altered history – I can go ahead and explain it. We have a culture of outrage. The direction of our society is determined by who can become the most offended, and make the most noise about how offended they are. I have a belief, which is supported by logic and data which I may present on this personal blog at a later date, that this outrage culture is not only ridiculous, but sociologically unsustainable. The Daily Stormer is a Performance Art Project and the Andrew Anglin Who Writes for It is a Character I Have Invented I am not a “Neo-Nazi White Supremacist.” In fact, I do not even know what that is. It has not ever been defined by the people who use it, despite repeated requests for a definition. I am also not a “hater,” nor do I know what that term means when it is used to refer to me. It would seem to be self-explanatory – “a person who is driven by the emotion of hate” – and yet I am not driven by hate, but rather by a genuine desire to see Western civilization continue into the future. One could even say that I am driven by love, if one wanted to get sappy about it.

Here's another idea: change your thinking about being in a box. Leave the box. The ideas I presented are not about staying in your own little box. That's not how I meant them at all. They are all about escaping any box and reaching out into the real world. Numbers 4 and 5 especially are, but all are needed. You seem to agree about #5 and want to focus on that. How can we impose our will on the world, to wit: preventing AI and saving humanity? OK, great, we can flesh out #5. Make a movie, OK. Perhaps such movies already exist? Terminator? 2012 Space Odyssey? I haven't seen either, but I'm pretty sure movies portraying doom from intelligent machines are out there. Matrix? So rather than making a new movie (a task to which you say you aren't suited, and nor am I) you could spend money promoting the best movie that best conveys the idea you want to get across. Or promote an existing book on the problem. Use DuckDuckGo to deprive Google of the money it needs to fund its AI research. http://www.duckduckgo.com I'm full of ideas. Do you want more? What kind of ideas?

https://dailystormer.is/here-come-dat-website/ The Daily Stormer is a satirical site (name is of course a satire of the site Stormfront), focusing on political correctness. I find it to be pretty hilarious. They have become bizarrely, incredibly, the nexus of the Free Speech Battle of our times. Whee! They're back up for now; we'll see how long that lasts.

Get serious. Rav. Mark Elliot Zuckerberg is quite obviously actually running. He has access to a mind control device called Facebook. And thus none of these other people matter. The only man with a tool that would exceed his would be someone who controls the even bigger mind control device called Google. But the googs' agenda is the same as Zuck's, so they won't run, they'll just support him. Trump will win anyway. But it should be fun! Human persuasive genius vs. sophisicated, scientific, digital cognitive manipulation. The 1950s Man vs. The Panopticon. Not as fun as the last one, but nothing could be that fun.

Consider what you are asking. Do you think it is possible that you are perhaps asking: How can I make my reach extend beyond my abilities? Or put another way: How can I exert more power over the world than I actually have? And is not the answer to that question very clear? Can't. One can't exert power one does not have. So the solution is to get power. Become powerful. I'm not criticizing you. Your sentiments are good. Your goal is good. Perhaps in this thread we could come up with even more great ideas to achieve that goal. Just remember they should be rooted in realism.

    1. Free yourself from the technological traps you are currently in. Stop using Facebook, for instance. Stop using GPS, use paper maps. Stop "googling" little facts and questions that come up and instead try to remember them, and if you cannot, be content with not knowing. Things like that. We don't need brain implants that explicitly release dopamine: checking Facebook does that already, harnessing the dispensers that biology has already built in (much simpler and cheaper). We don't need super-smart computers to make us seem stupider in comparison -- using technological crutches is already making us literally stupider, on an absolute scale, not just relative. You don't have to worry about theoretical possible future oppressions if you're already caught in real traps in your real life, right here, right now. First things first. 2. Now that you are living free and independent from technological traps, continue reducing technology that you don't even think of as traps. Take technology out of your life to an extent. You say that the Amish have gotten a lot right, and that's true. But don't just say it; don't just gripe. Do something about it. It's not that hard to start going that direction. "Almost Amish." With your newfound independence and confidence, you're up to it. Be moderate, don't go nuts. It should be fun, not painful. Austerity is nice, calming, and empowering. 3. Get married to a traditional-minded woman. Have children. Have lots of children. These are long term problems you are thinking about and wanting to fight against. In order to have a chance, you need to hone your long term thinking and cultivate a long term attitude. "Gorilla Mindset." Nothing will do that more than having children. And, of course, having children in and of itself is an essential part of any sensible long-term victory strategy. 4. Improve yourself. Increase your competence. Increase your wealth. Increase your power. Become a Master.

Nothing is inevitable. We've had globalist periods before, and they were stopped, by various actions. Human actions matter. Globalism ebbs and flows. Crime ebbs and flows. Actions, and especially massive actions (such as building a continental wall), do have an effect on history.

Always interesting to see the different lenses through which people see history. Now, the OP is certainly not exactly a, ahem, "deep thinker." However, as Krugminator says, he gets some of it right. The government was relatively small in the 1920s, that's true, and that is pretty libertarian. Of course, that was what we could call: a Return to Normalcy. The whole history of the US up to that point was "pretty libertarian" for the most part! The '20s were not exceptional in that regard. But that low-ish (by our batty, crazy, insane, current-year standard) taxation and low-ish (by our batty, crazy, insane, current-year standard) tyranization worked very well, things went swimmingly. Did they not? What didn't work was the central banking shenanigans. The '20s and '30s (and '40s, and for that matter 10's after about, oh, let's say, to just pick a date out of the air at random.... 1913?) were exceptional in the level of banking tomfoolery they experienced -- it was massive, even larger than the tomfoolery we'd been having in the previous centuries. And that can pretty much explain the exceptional economics of the period: exceptionally good or-so-it-seemed in the '20s and then exceptionally bad throughout the '30s and '40s. So.... yeah. There you have it.

The amount of money Group X makes in relation to Group Y in the market says quite a bit about how much the market values Group X vs. Group Y. Yes, quite a fair bit. As in,.... everything! To be precise: everything! (Yes, too much Tin Tin) Literally 100% of what the market has to say about it is encapsulated in these two data points.

That is because tall people are better leaders. Tall people are more intelligent, and tall people have more of the other qualities one wants in a business leader. Unless anyone wants to take up a banner to argue on behalf of "market failure." Hmm? Anyone?

https://www.theburningplatform.com/2017/09/07/2001-a-space-odyssey-of-transcendent-or-transcendental-evolution Even so, and perhaps more importantly, can we know with 100% certainty that mankind has evolved at all, or continues to do so, without any “hard-science” proof of macro-evolution? Although many evolutionists still embrace the “soft-science” of body-part studies (homology) and common embryology while at the same time, erroneously applying (same species) “micro-evolution” to justify their belief in Darwin’s 158 year-old theory; it is a fact today, that Darwin’s Disciples are finding themselves overwhelmed by the hard-science of Physics, Molecular Biology, Astrophysics, and Probability Analysis. When considering the modern understanding of concepts like “Irreducible Complexity” it raises the question if, perhaps, Creationism or Intelligent Design may send The Theory of Evolution the way of the dinosaur.

JM, again, I'm with you. I had an anti-REAL ID badge on my web site back in the 90s or whenever it was that it actually mattered. Whenever it Was. Note. That time is not now. That boat has long sailed. And even then, it clearly didn't matter (us all putting up the badges, I mean), because what exactly did that accomplish? Hmm? I care about results. I care about reality. So again, to think about this very practically: I hate REAL ID as much or more as you, JM. But it's just not relevant to this issue. There exist no actual human beings who currently do not have a REAL ID-compliant ID and who would go out and get one due to requiring people to show ID to vote, and who thus would become more tracked and oppressed. No real, actual people are getting more really, actually oppressed due to the requirement that people wanting to vote show an ID. There is no real, actual oppression increasing. So.... it's hard to make a case about how awful and oppressive it would be. Eh? That's my only point. That's reality's only point.

Say it with me again: 100 new federal circuits. There's no reason the left should control the courts. There's no reason, in fact, that even One Single Leftist should be allowed to remain on the judiciary, given GOP control of the House, Senate, and Presidency. The Constitution is with them. Push the issue. Purge the courts. Nothing but Hard Right Amish judges from now on.
