Should have primaried Trump. DNC could still pick him up though. 60k comments on that tweet, including this gold. A candidate answering debate questions in verse up against two elderly dementia patients...

So... a single woman in a truly free market couldn't possibly raise a kid on her own? Definitely wouldn't find it preferable to being stuck with the same boring dude forever? Enforced monogamy was a product of the same societies as guilds and feudal lords. Welfare targeted certain racial groups, but everyone else eventually realized free markets meant free markets in family too. Marriages are historically economic units after all. Free markets and free enterprise most notably created cheap reliable birth control. This emancipated women more than anything else. Prior to the pill if a woman had any sex drive whatsoever she was condemned to shitting out kids til she died from it. Free markets and free enterprise have turned the 12 hours a day of household labour into 30 minutes, easily outsourced.

Want to watch people bitch about the creation of a national bank? Hamilton is a fun a lively musical. Iffy and all, but fun. What I thought it did really well was illuminate the revolution and founding a loose and contingent enterprise, filled with ambition and compromise, heavy duty thinking, and human failures. That the world was being reshaped then, and could be reshaped again today. We take so much of our social structure for granted not having recently been to war to seriously defend it from alternatives. Hamilton successfully shows us what it was like for those ideas to be fresh new and fragile. 100% everyone here has deep issues with all the founding fathers, but when was the last time you saw a hip hop musical about the federalist papers?

Capitalism makes individuals independent of the family. Women are able to survive on their own. Men and women are able to outsource reproduction. We now largely limit family because it would be a fucking huge tax haven if 30 business men could all marry each other. Without socialist, theocratic, or fascist controls people are free to form whatever social bonds they wish. Marx bitched about capitalism eroding the family and gender roles in Kapital.

I post on some of the competitiors. Scale will kill them if they ever get it. Bitchute uses some peer stuff but not enough. On the $10K thing, was in a video dealing with the problem of the rouge billionaire. He never actually did address the rouge billionaire just cases leading up to it. He's also totally cool with blackboxes in every car etc. Total surveillance shared between trans national corporations is fine as long as its not the "state" doing it. There is a huge disconnect in libertarian streams between people who want all sorts of people to live together with minimum fuss, and people like Hoppe/Molyneux, who want a huge social machine enforcing a rigid culture and just don't call it a state.

Molyneuxs Utopia included $10k rewards for reporting neighbours with unregistered firearms. When it dawned on him that liberty inevitably meant race mixing he went full fash. Still a very bad sign that he was banned tho.

Youtube loses like a billion dollars per year. How do you compete with a company that can afford to do that? Mind you people seem to think their are no barriers to entry for competitors to put in new roads that service your house.

This was the whole point of 80's Watchmen, deconstructing the idea of cops with capes. Anybody here should think Batman should have stayed Bruce Wayne and focused his intellect on building his family's company and employing people rather than beating the shit out of the alternately employed and mentally ill. The most useful part of American superheroes is that they go home after they win the fight rather than becoming king, which is what Beowulf and every other non-american hero myth supposes. That might be the foundation of American exceptionalism, the strong retire after the fight and leave civil society to civilians. It certainly was the basis of non-interventionism. "A community in a harmonious paradise is threatened by evil; normal institutions fail to contend with this threat; a selfless superhero emerges to renounce temptations and carry out the redemptive task; aided by fate, his decisive victory restores the community to its paradisaical condition; the superhero then recedes into obscurity."

God help the poor bastards running the DNC convention. Could easy go 1968 on their asses if Biden bows out. GOP easy could have the same if there was a floor challenge to Trump. Its not like there isn't precedent. Worlds way too charged up for manicured conventions, even if they are online ones somehow.

How are your political parties soooooo shit that nobody primaried Trump, and Biden is the best the DNC has? Rand should have run against Trump on principle, so that in 2024 people remember who was against this. The conventions not til August. Trump could not to run yet if he actually wanted out. More likely he has no proper grip on quite what he has unleashed. Also who the hell buys the idea that the President is unreachable by the White House for 3 hours? They wanted it up.

Don't let it get lost. Its a great example of the problem of an over powered state. Why are libertarians so ready to agree that the state is bad but so hesitant that some groups can have an even worse experience under the boot of the state than the average? The state is this big evil thing, but somehow the state is perfectly egalitarian in its evil?

Yup and militant warrior-king Jesus. And more. Does actual Jesus rate, or are we defending cultural projections of God in people own likeness, because that is what is being objected to. Black Jesus, Asian Jesus, White Jesus, Warrior Jesus, Capitalist Jesus, Marxist Jesus, these are all projections designed to control thought.

Without some form of massive social coercion you can't have the segregation envisioned by the likes of Hoppe or Molyneux. They call it not-a-state but its a fucking state, and a totalitarian non-democratic one to boot.

Marxists and Fascists are fundamentally religious. Their form of government is a unified consciousness. What we want to know though, is why replacing a tacky white version of Jesus with a more historically realistic version is so fucking upsetting? Y'all have to confront the fact that a free society isn't necessarily a white society. Some people round here definitely think liberty means liberty from non-white people or non-anglo culture. Its not gonna work out for you. You are going to have "bad neighbours". The state isn't whats getting between you and a white utopia, its free markets.

A good video to watch if you want to understand hardcore fascist philosophy. Easy intro one beneath. Also good to watch if you are finding that free market capitalism is leading to too much degeneracy and brown people generally and wondering if libertarianism is really the philosophy for you. Easy video for those who are curious:

Some people just don't like freedom and haven't fucking thought through what individual freedom and Austrian economics entails. Christ on a bicycle. Taxation is coercive but physically removing people I personally object to is ideal? Dude would be way better off in pure fascism. He doesn't want individual liberty and the chaos that generates but a city-wide HoA where everybody is an obedient little munchkin. His view of the world is totalitarian and like so many others he thinks libertarianism makes it ethically okay to express totalitarian views. Notably however the giant HoA is not democratic. Obviously it has a leader (not a dictator) who is the manifest collective will of the people. That person makes decisions, but is not ruling ofver others because they are just doing what everyone wants. (textbook fascism). The sooner these people realize that its okay to just accept you are a fascist the better. Eventually on has to choose between being in a white utopia, and being free.
