#3 Tifany and her boyfriend Tad belong to some group they call God's Misfits. Allegedly "anti government", though I don't know the details of whatever their beliefs are. One her facebook page was a yard sign opposing some local tax increase (nothing burger) and a Trump sign or flag. This par of Oklahoma is nowheresville, flat country, with rodeo going farmers and ranchers. Way more cattle than humans. Tifany is on the hospital board and is chair of the county GOP (which isn't saying much because there's few people involved in it). Two of the Misfits, a couple named Cook, had the little kids for the night before the women went missing. Tifany picked them up by noon (after the visitation exchange was to have taken place). Tifany told the Cooks that Veronica had cancelled the visit. Two other people in the Misfits are Cole and Cora Twombly, also ranchers. Another guy named Paul Grice, who's property is across the road from Tad, Tifany's SO, is also in the group. He's in his early thirties, with a wife and three little kids, and does ranch work. It's Paul Grice who looks like he might be an informant.

#2. The father of the children and Veronica had never been married (they're young). Veronica had custody of the kids but he went to court to get custody and won, claiming Veronica's younger brother had sexually molested the kids. He was granted custody and Veronica given supervised visitation. The father's name is Wrangler (really). He's had drug and booze problems, with arrests, and he left the kids with his mother (divorced), Tifany Adams, a wealthy rancher and powerful local player who owns thousands of acres. Tifany has a BF named Tad and they have separate residences. Though her son, Wrangler, had legal custody, Tifany denied him the right to take his kids, saying he was a drugged out, boozed up loser. Sheriff called and said the kids were probably better off at grandma's (Tifany). Sometime after, Wrangler, who is now married with another kid and a pregnant wife, gets some drug and/or alcohol charge along with something to do with a gun. He goes to jail and then court sends to him six months of in-patient rehab. He was in rehab when Veronica and Jilian went missing. Tifany's facebook page is full of pictures of Wrangler's and Veronica's kids. When I saw it I knew the grandmother was never planning on returning to their mother, who was on a legal path to getting them back. The custody fight has been going on for at least three years and one of the last motions or whatever accused Tifany of "child stealing" (a codified crime). Veronica was doing well and following all of the court's requirements and was about to get unsupervised visitation which would then lead to regaining full custody (over Tifany's dead body, as far Tifany was concerned). On several occasions, Tifany cancelled vistitaions, in violation of court orders. Tifany conducts herself as though no rules apply to her.

#1 March 30, two Kansas women, Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley, reported missing in Oklahoma. They were traveling together. Veronica was going to pick up her small children for a court ordered, supervised visit (every Saturday from 10AM to 5PM). Jilian, the wife of a pastor, was a court approved supervisor. Upon pick up, the plan was to take the kids for a birthday party (presumably back in Kansas, where Veronica resided). This took place right on the border of the two states. When Veronica, Jilian and kids did not arrive by noon, some of Veronica's family went looking for them. They found Veronica's car with a smashed out window, blood all over the road, Veronica's glasses in the road 100' away, next to a broken hammer, and a magazine/clip/whatever those are called, for a gun, in Jilian's purse, but no gun. Both women gone. the exchange was to take place between Veronica and the children's paternal grandmother, who the kids were residing with.

You can't explain a significant difference. So, you are in favor of tariffs instead of other taxes now? Because I have been all along, I told you they had less drawbacks and a few beneficial aspects. Can't you even keep track of what side you are on?

So, When Ron proposes changing from one form of tax to another you agree, but when I do the same thing you oppose it, even though I give a better specific plan for implementing it. I propose to make it happen the same way Ron proposes to make it happen, through advocacy and campaigning for it. You oppose it, you don't want anyone to try to actually do it, you want to just leave it as a disembodied theory you can virtue signal by agreeing with. It's irrelevant. A mere detail that would not exist in any real world implementation and would not affect the principle if it did.

LOL Ron wants tariffs and tariffs give an advantage to domestic producers. Cry more. The details, like how high the tariffs are, and if they reflect the friend/enemy status of the foreign state or its trade policies towards us are mere details by comparison to the basic principle that tariffs are the best form of taxation, and if you think any government policy or tax can or ever will be implemented without political influence you are naive in the extreme. Ron worked in Congress, he knows how the sausage is made even in the best of times and that it will always be made that way to one degree or another, that's just human nature, but he still wants tariffs instead of other taxes and so do I. You are the one who loves socialism and slave labor as long as it takes place in other countries and benefits your wallet in the short term.

Maybe if you'd quit lying about RFK I wouldn't have to drop the receipts over and over.

Those are lies and hypocrisy as I said. They make Trump responsible for things he had limited or no power over, ignore the things he did to oppose them, and pretend that RFK himself doesn't openly plan to do worse in addition to having a much worse record.

Neither thing is what I claimed. You just keep making things up. And you are terrible at it, the post you quoted makes it quite clear that applying the same proinciple to the states is MY idea not Ron's. And the fact that Ron didn't go into the details of how to replace one tax with another while I have (by doing both parts in the same bill) only makes his position weaker than mine.

No, I want more tariffs and higher than Trump. There is another thread or maybe more for his tariffs, this thread is and always has been about tariffs as a concept, not about any plan of Trump's. You just keep looking for ways to lie and muddy the waters because you keep losing the argument.

No, they are not. Once you have tariffs instead of income taxes it is just a question of how high they will be. Tariffs are protectionist just by existing, it's only a matter of how protectionist.

There you go again, making up more things. Nobody said anything about Trump. This is about what we should try to do, like what Ron Paul said we should do. And as you have been told repeatedly, you do it at the same time, you pass a bill ending one thing and replacing it with another. Go argue with Ron.

No, in the end of state income taxes. Federal tariffs will end the federal income tax. You just make things up and try to pretend people can't read. This conversation has been about how to change our tax system, since you don't want the tariffs you clearly don't want to change it away from the taxes we have, it's that simple. And then you muddy the waters by lying about whether it is possible (we used to have big tariffs and no income tax, we now have few tariffs and an income tax, so it is absolutely possible) and lying about what I said the state tariffs would end (I never said they would end anything federal). You do realize that Ron Paul has repeatedly said we should switch from the Income tax etc. to tariffs for the federal government and you are opposing him, right?

Probably not. And Trump put Bolton in a position with no power, didn't listen to him on anything, and humiliated him by sending him to Mongolia while he visited N. Korea. Bolton was used as symbol to frighten our enemies and pacify the warhawks and nothing more, he didn't get his war with Iran or anything else.

No, it was a definite endorsement, just like his endorsement of all the other Demoncrats far more responsible than Trump for everything he is trying to fully blame Trump for. You can lie about it all you want but it won't change the truth.

All it takes is an Amendment to change what is constitutional, it's been amended before. Things have been added and removed at the same time before. We can push for all of it to be done. And there is nothing more anti-liberty than supporting the other kinds of taxes.

He resisted much of that, Congress forced much of it, and RFK supports things that will do all of them much worse. RFK specifically praised the lockdowns and wanted them for the climate.
