Donald Trump responded to some Democrats warning they might “pack” the Supreme Court if they win the White House and Senate by saying Republicans should do just that if they hold onto power in November’s elections. "I guess we could do that too, right? We could do that too,” the president said during a campaign rally in Jacksonville as he courted voters in the key swing state of Florida. He does not stoop to such worldly offices, he has all power in heaven and on earth. Whether or not someone would nominate him if that was a reasonable concept would depend on the person doing the nominating, the wise and well informed would seek to be ruled by him, the foolish would not.

I can't support any term limits, I could support an age limit to deal with the possibility of senility but what is really needed is to let a President remove them with the advice and consent of the Senate.

Not really very good. There are many legitimate reasons for the law to deal with who is married and who is not and you don't need licenses to do it, just definitions, those who want to officially record the marriage can do so without requiring everyone to do so. And the founders would not accept a qweer church having qweer marriages in the law, marriage is between a man and a woman by definition and always has been. Trying to compare qweer marriage to things the founders were wrong about is ridiculous as is the implication that we can change the definition of such things.

BUNK. Trump is also withdrawing from Iraq and even from places like Saudi Arabia. And ending a war and leaving the war zone is a good thing even if the troops did go to a non-war zone instead of coming home.

Sexual perversion and granting it the status of marriage are two different things. "Boston Marriage" was meant to mock the perverts and the city of Boston for having so many not to grant the status of marriage. The founders would not have favored qweer marriage, even those who were less moral would have known that it would destroy society and that the public would not accept it. (even in modern times it was imposed from above rather than accepted by the public after so many generations of brainwashing)

The UK’s chief scientific adviser Sir Patrick Vallance owns 43,111 shares in GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) worth £600,000 from his time as president of the pharmaceutical giant from 2012 to 2018. Vallance held 404,201 GSK shares when he resigned as president and has already sold for more than £5 million in shares. That’s the same GSK that made a deal to supply the UK with up to 60 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine. GSK has a similar deal with the US Government to supply 100 million doses as part of Donald’s Operation Warp Speed: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8766531/Chief-Scientific-Officer-Sir-Patrick-Vallance-600-000-shares-vaccine-maker-GSK.html

As William Barr has asked Congress to approve censoring online platforms; President Donald warned he is: "watching them very closely during this election cycle. At the urging of the radical left, these platforms have become intolerant of diverse political views and abusive toward their own users": https://www.npr.org/2020/09/23/916096008/justice-department-proposes-weakening-social-medias-legal-shield As I understand the following section, the DoJ under the new “protecting free speech” proposal can simply send “notice” to some internet platform, citing some legal BS, and then expect the platform to immediately remove contents (small outlets don’t have a legal team to understand the legal implications)... https://www.justice.gov/ag/department-justice-s-review-section-230-communications-decency-act-1996 Let’s call that “protecting free speech” that sounds soo much better than censoring dissident voices in the last 6 weeks before the election!

I don't now whether it will happen soon but it could happen and as the cultural backlash grows I am sure it will happen sooner or later. Also the left is trying to cancel everyone for everything, eventually people will figure they are doomed to cancellation anyway and start doing things without caring about the left's cancellations.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced an executive order that would require medical care be given to infants who are born alive after failed abortion attempts. “Today I am announcing that I will be signing the Born-Alive Executive Order to ensure that all precious babies born alive, no matter their circumstances, receive the medical care that they deserve. This is our sacrosanct moral duty,” said Trump Sept. 23, speaking in a pre-recorded video address during the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast virtual even. The Born-Alive Infant Protection Act has been introduced several times in Congress, but has failed to become law. The bill stalled in the House of Representatives in 2019-2020 because an insufficient number of members signed a discharge petition which would have triggered a vote on the bill. The proposed law would not have created any new limit or restriction on access to abortion, but would require that infants born alive after an attempted abortion be given appropriate medical care consistent with that given to a child of the same gestational age born under a different circumstance. Several states have passed their own version of the bill. The full text of the executive order has yet to be released, but is expected to mirror the attempted federal legislation on the issue.

When Georgia wasn’t doing too well economically, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev came to the rescue. In 2005, Georgia’s president Mikhail Saakashvili and Nazarbayev announced that BTA Bank was providing 300 hundred million dollars in loans to develop Georgia. In a strange twist, all the loans went to subsidiaries of the Silk Road Group. BTA’s deputy chairman, Yerkin Tatishev, selected one of his employees at the Kusto Group, Talgat Turumbayev, to represent both BTA and him on the boards of 2 of those subsidiaries. Some legal experts conclude that if Tatishev was financially involved in businesses funded by the BTA Bank loans, then he and the Silk Road Group have committed bank fraud (self-dealing). Not surprisingly one of Silk Road’s subsidiaries receiving loans, Batumi Riviera Holding, B.V., was registered in the Netherlands. In 2009, when Nazarbayev was planning to take control of BTA Bank, its chairman, Mukhtar Ablyazov, fled to London (where else?). Ablyazov took billions of dollars in bank funds out of BTA, by giving dozens of offshore companies under his control loans from B.T.A., which weren’t paid back. Starting in 2009, Ablyazov was sued in the UK by the Kazakh government to reclaim ten billion dollars that he had siphoned out of the country. The UK courts ordered him to repay more than four billion dollars to BTA (so that he could keep almost six billion dollars). According to Judge Nigel John Martin Teare, Ablyazov had committed “fraud on an epic scale”. In 2010, Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen began negotiating with the Silk Road Group about a Trump Tower in Batumi, Georgia. When Donald came to Georgia for a speech, he pointed to Tatishev and Ramishvili and said: “We have two great partners. And they’re going to do a fantastic job”: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/08/21/trumps-business-of-corruption (http://web.archive.org/web/20200904050950/https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/08/21/trumps-business-of-corruption)

And certainly don't blame the politicians, who love some of that "dirty cash"!!! On 16 September I posted. Then suddenly on 20 September, the ICIJ found it convenient to report on some (already known) money laundering cases. For some reason Mukthar Ablyazov is mentioned, but they “forgot” to detail the case... It is a report on Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) reported by banks to the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCen), between 1999 and 2017. The suspicious transactions total more than $2.7 trillion. They show banks transferring cash for clients that have already been publicly exposed as financial frauds and for shell companies controlled by people they can’t identify. Some banks take hundreds of days (on average) to report “suspicious” transactions to the authorities.

A state just needs to enforce one of the state laws/constitutional amendments prohibiting it, if the qweers don't sue then they lose and if they do it goes to SCOTUS where the precedent can be overturned.
