    On Wednesday, Elon Musk gave an update on the advancement of his Neuralink brain implant/interface project. In the update, he noted he expects to begin clinical trials in six months, and he hopes one of the first targeted applications will be in restoring vision. Based in Austin, Texas and the San Francisco Bay Area, Neuralink is developing implantable chips which will be designed to interface directly with the human brain. It is hoped the technology will ultimately allow paralyzed patients to regain motor movement, and ultimately, help meld human brains with computers. Thus far the company has been conducting animal tests on monkeys, as it moves toward seeking US regulatory approval to conduct clinical trials in humans.     Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) senior fellow Johnny Ryan is suing the tech giant Oracle for tracking and monitoring people. The lawsuit was filed in California and is jointly led by two U.S. privacy advocates, Michael Katz-Lacabe and Maryland associate professor Dr Jennifer Golbeck. “Oracle claims to have amassed detailed dossiers on five billion people and generates $42.4bn (€42.4bn) in annual revenue. Oracle’s dossiers about people include names, home addresses, emails, purchases online and in the real world, physical movements in the real world, income, interests and political views, and a detailed account of online activity. Oracle also coordinates a global trade in dossiers about people through the Oracle Data Marketplace,” the ICCL said in a statement.

    He's not moving anything to the right, he's giving the dems the power to interfere with any attempts to move anything to the right. What Massie is doing will not remove one bit of government power, anything and everything that the RINOs and the left want will get a 2/3rds vote and be passed with no restrictions, but nothing that might reduce government power will get a 2/3rds vote and will be bogged down and never pass. Massie is not destroying the One Ring, he is destroying Gandalf's ring to "set a precedent" that Sauron will ignore.

    Thing about phones is you don't have access to the radio cpu (modem). And the damned sim cards also have processors with dangerous capabilities. Only thing you can do for privacy is get one with removeable battery, or crack it open and pull the battery tab off. Linux phones are fun if you're into that sort of thing.

The Overton Window is basically a catchphrase to explain a narrow spectrum of acceptable government policies at any given moment. As the nation evolves the window of what would be considered currently “acceptable’ moves. In the example of the government continue to grow, the Overton Window constantly shifts toward leftist totalitarian objectives, bigger government. The movement happens slowly – over time – but is never reversed. Regardless of who controls power, the big government Overton Window always goes one way, one nudge at a time in one direction, toward bigger government. People often ask, why does this continue to happen even after Republicans are elected? Today, Thomas Massie accidentally gives us a perfect example of how and why. When Democrats are in power, they do everything to maximize their power and minimize the influence of their Republican opposition. However, when Republicans are in power, they do everything to minimize their power and maximize the power of their Democrat opposition, now in the minority. Democrats in control, they maximize the Overton Window shift. When Republicans are in power, they do nothing to pull it back – they actually do everything possible to maintain the shift. LOOK:
