My thoughts exactly. But I do think this topic leads to some interesting discussions. And there is one thing about monarchy that hasn't really been talked about here, so I might start a new thread on it.

I dislike Bill Nye, and I don't buy into the global warming hysteria, but I do want to reply to one thing right now, because whoever wrote this article is showing some ignorance. We are artificially breeding them into existence, for the sole purpose of using/eating them. When the demand for animal products decreases, the number of animals brought into existence will decrease too. This won't happen overnight, but it will happen (gradually), it's just basic supply and demand.

^ I think there has been a lot of subtle indoctrination in kids movies and TV shows, for a number of years now. A couple years ago, I was doing some nanny work after school for a friend… and I absolutely could not believe the stuff that was aimed at kids. I think that many parents are simply too busy to even notice that, so kids often end up watching movies or TV shows that are designed to indoctrinate, and some of it is really bad. I also believe that there's a spiritual aspect to this. The enemy targets children, I guess the strategy is getting people when they're young. Maybe it's just getting more blatant and obvious now? When I had that part-time nanny job, I always tried to change the channel or get them to watch something else. That ended up causing problems with the older kid (a girl) who probably thought I was crazy for thinking that the shows she wanted to watch were bad news. It even caused problems with my friend (her mom) who said she trusts my judgment, but since she has different spiritual and political views, she didn't fully agree with my take on it, and probably thought I was overreacting. Maybe if she hears about this movie, I'll be vindicated about what I was telling her a few years ago. I should tell my sister about this too, because evidently it is getting more blatant, and busy parents often are oblivious to this sort of thing.

The other alternative is meta-data analysis, which I remember hearing about in the late '80's. Retailers would analyze the shopping habits of all their customers, and then "guess" what items they would be looking for next and would make suggestions to their catalog customers. I remember being surprised at how random the suggestions seemed. So if you're browsing with cookies and all turned on, and we assume that all our credit/debit purchases are recorded as well, it's possible that the suggestions you see are targeted to you based on what they think you're going to be looking for, even if you don't even know you want it yet.

All true. Ultimately however what you and some others here are supporting is the statist society of rather than family handle their son it is now left to the state and the rest of us to pay for. Some of which as I pointed out is a result of state laws regarding child support and anti-discrimination laws. The state directly contributing as a primary factor of why he will not leave the property. If you really want to promote the statist society we currently live in then I would expect people here to echo the states propaganda of anti-discrimination laws in the workplace for which he was denied. Bottomline Libertarians can't have it both ways. You need to make up your minds which side of the fence you are going to be on, but perhaps you and a few others are not libertarian.

As long as the mission is what benefits the people within the borders of the United States and I believe this to be true, then more power to him and he will finish the mission. Americans will support him every step of the way like they did Trump. But if it believed he is running in the best interests of some of the entities that fund him then we will see through it that he is a sell out that deserves to lose. We all will be watching and if he betrays us he will be crucified before he has a chance.

Unless you can piece it together this seems like a whole lot of nothing. Stern is a piece of shit for making this an issue and I say this as someone who listened to him as a fan from the beginning and found him entertaining. The question is what was Trump thinking going on Stern if he ever thought of running for public office. Trump appeared as one the guys and down to earth. A guy you would never expect to run for office. Stern prompt's guests to respond outrageously. How else was Trump expected to respond considering the venue? Read the article, sounds like a whole lot of nothing.

"he never had a job", this is simply not true,. If you read the article he did work at Bestbuy but was discriminated against as a single Dad. Mothers were given time with their children on weekends but he was denied the option. If we truly live in a gender equal society then this should not have happened. The parents offered to pay his health insurance but he wanted to stay on Medicaid to meet the poor person requirement for Medicaid and legal bills for which looks to be a child is involved. Do you have any idea how much lawyers cost and the draconian laws related to child support? People will do anything to stay out of jail due to their poverty and I do not blame them. We should not be prosecuting people and throwing them in jail for being poor. Not sure if that is the case here but in the majority of cases where children are involved it is. The real story here is not this individual but rather the scumbag media that rather than report real news are taking advantage of a poor man with problems for a story. They do not care who they hurt or who they take advantage of for a story. Again demonstrating the news media is the enemy of the people. Do you have young boys? If you do, how do you think they will react when they have a gun pointed to their head to produce rather than left to produce on their own? Which one do you want them to live in? A society that believes in the non-aggression principle or what we have now?

Well, I think that on paper, it disregards humanity. It assumes that everybody will choose to work for a common good, that the bureaucrats will always make exactly the right decisions for that common good, and that the common good is indeed the greater good. Reality, which capitalism addresses, is that people are greedy. And that what's good for you might be bad for me.

Apparently it is beyond you to distinguish between the government and the people running it. The fact (and it is indeed a fact) that the sanctions were not against the country and/or the populace doesn't mean a damned thing to you. You are now literally hallucinating a fictional reality in order to avoid the truth of the matter, which is that your beloved socialism always ends up with the socialists in charge looting the populace. FFS, Chavez's daughter is now far and away the wealthiest person in the country. Obama put the sanctions into place to try to prevent specific individuals from taking their loot and fleeing to America while avoiding broader sanctions against the country which would harm the populace. This just yet another entirely predictable failure of socialism, and face it: you were wrong again. There were no sanctions against Venezuela. Long paragraphs of speculations won't change that.

So all you have to do in order to defeat this is vary your grip while doing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iV2ViNJFZC8 Or you could just borrow someone else's phone. Or use a one-time "burner." In other words: this won't do a damn thing to catch "terrorsts" or crooks. But it certainly might be useful in compiling even more extensive dossiers on "normal" people who don't have anything to worry about because they haven't done anything wrong ...

This is over a week late, but I wanted to reply to your neg rep comment. I actually was here in 2007, under a different screenname/account, (wildflower) but that's besides the point. I simply have a different opinion on your actions regarding the whole Gunny thing. But I don't feel like arguing about it any further, so that's all.
