Immigrants selling fruit on the side of a street, without a permit. Immigrants seeking to open up businesses and attempting to pay less extortion. Immigrants who are more aware of what’s going on in the world than most Americans (Common Core) and in Section 8. Immigrants who are armed but do not buy “permits” and thus considered criminals/illegal. It is the old ladies with dyed red hair, and the old guys with trump stitched onto their ball cap, who sit on (R) committees who fight tooth and nail, when they believe “common sense” legislation should be passed and to “save the children”. The same ones who think I am nuts/bat-sh|t-crazy/insane because I announce that the 2A is the only permit needed and free of charge. You color, immigrant haters and freedom to travel freely restrictionists have no clue to what you are talking about. Or maybe you do. For all I know, you are the very ones with dyed red hair and trump stitched onto your ball cap who attend the (R) committee meetings. You know, the same leftists who chose romney over Paul that I dealt with and still do all of the time.

Wednesday December 11, 2019 As usual, when it comes to the warfare/welfare state there is no rancor in Washington. All the pretend acrimony between Republicans and Democrats is thrown out and consensus is magically reached. This week another massive military spending bill was approved by both parties - even as we learn about a trillion dollars being wasted in Afghanistan. The empire chugs along. Everybody in Latin America knows what happens to leftist heads of state who challenge the power of the local elites and of the US government. By Alan MacLeod December 12, 2019 President Donald Trump announced that he will designate Mexican drug cartels as “terrorists”, paving the way for a potentially massive increase in American military involvement directly south of its border. “They will be designated,” Trump told ex-Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly during an interview, revealing that he asked the Mexican government for permission to put soldiers on the ground: “let us go in and clean it out,” Trump said, revealing that they have “so far has rejected the offer. But at some point, something has to be done.” Mexico’s left-wing president, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, commonly referred to by his initials, AMLO, hit back Friday, insisting that his country had not been invaded for more than a century and that he would not permit an invasion under his watch, revealing exactly how he understood Trump’s offer.

By Andrew P. Napolitano December 12, 2019 Congress enacted the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act in 1978 in response to the unlawful surveillance of Americans by the FBI and the CIA during the Watergate era. President Richard Nixon — who famously quipped after leaving office that “when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal” — used the FBI and the CIA to spy on his political opponents. The stated reason was national security. Nixon claimed that foreign agents physically present in the U.S. agitated and aggravated his political opponents to produce the great public unrest in America in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and thus diminished Americans’ appetite for fighting the Vietnam War. There was, of course, no evidence to support that view, but the neocons in Congress and the military-industrial complex supported it even after Nixon left office. This view — there are foreigners among us who wish us harm — came to fruition during the presidency of Jimmy Carter, who pushed for the enactment of FISA. FISA’s stated purpose was to limit — not expand — the government’s surveillance powers by requiring the intervention and permission of a judge.

Ron Paul Institute Written by Robert Wenzel The Trump administration intends to propose a regulation next year that would require all travelers - including U.S. citizens - to be photographed when entering or leaving the United States, according to the administration's regulatory agenda, reports Reuters. I wonder what Libertarians for Trump think about this.

Whether it ever happens or not, it is good to have a voice and speak about such things, especially around the time during election season when most folks seem to be more "patriotic".

Congress is Trump’s Co-Conspirator Against Liberty written by ron paul - monday december 9, 2019 Imagine that President Trump spent his phone call with the Ukrainian president threatening to withhold military aid unless the Ukrainian government agreed to use the money to purchase weapons from a US manufacturer. Does anyone seriously think that foreign service professionals and deep state operatives would be so shocked and offended by Trump’s request that they would launch efforts to impeach him? Would Congress view this as “high crimes and misdemeanors” or applaud Trump for carrying out one of modern presidents’ supposedly most important jobs — acting as salesmen for the American military-industrial complex? This hypothetical shows that impeachment is not about President Trump’s abuse of power. Instead, it is an attempt to make sure President Trump, and all future presidents, confine their abuses of power to items that advance the agenda of the political establishment. President Trump’s most consequential abuses of power have been met with the full approval of the majority in Congress, the mainstream media, and the deep state. For example, when President Trump launched military action in Syria without obtaining a congressional declaration of war there were no calls for his impeachment. Instead, most members of Congress were perfectly happy to let stand unchallenged President Trump’s claim that the 2001 authorization for use of military force —a limited grant of authority to act against those responsible for the September 11, 2001 attacks — gave him the authority to launch military action against a government that had nothing to do with the September 11th attacks. The only times Congress rebukes President Trump’s foreign policy is when he speaks favorably about pursuing peaceful relations with Russia or ending US involvement in no-win military conflicts. This hypocrisy extends beyond foreign policy. Many Democrats who claim that President Trump is both a fascist and mentally unhinged are eager to ensure President Trump can continue to conduct warrantless surveillance on every American by reauthorizing Section 215 of the PATRIOT Act.

From some research I've done it looks like FDR knew exactly what he was doing- the sanctions & stopping Japan from getting any oil was the thing that would drive Japan to attack. This would get the American people to totally back the war- which was the whole purpose behind the sanctions etc.

No- Ron made his theory on us taking over Afghanistan & Iraq. After the initial shock of 911 wore off, I am sure he knew exactly what was up. Even me as a kid knew something was suspicious with the 911 BS when troops didn't surround the US borders to stop further attacks. That told me immediately that TPTB were not afraid of more "terrorists" & that it was a ruse. Ron telling the world that the PA was immediately signed in, with nobody reading it, confirmed my suspicions.

Correction: a very small, 2,000 mile strip of land. Which in many cases separates hundreds of acres, businesses, and entire communities. But you would not know that, because you have not taken the time to actually visit those areas for yourself. I have, and have first hand knowledge.

Yep. When Obama tried it, every republican fought tooth and nail. When trump proposes the same exact thing, every “republican” jumps on board. Except those who actually live near the border and want to keep their land/business/farm intact who are now required to hire attorneys and file law suits. And then there is you who believes we must sacrifice private property and liberty in order to protect and preserve it. Strange, huh?
