Been saying it since the seventies. Nobody listens.
What now? Rehire a politician who promised to make America great again, and didn't? Or hire someone who might make the government stand down and stand back, and let Americans make America great again? Because no politicians ever did that thing.
I just can't figure out why Trump keeps selling the band aid and rarely mentions the cure.
Do you really think that's what Sauron's Ring is?
Do us all a favor. Tell us which Tolkien forum you're going to, and when, and start talking about Sauron's Ring of Free Trade. That would be an amusing troll.
So, in your book free trade is an exercise of centralized power. Maybe you'd like to explain to the class how that works...
You really can't figure out why OSHA is relevant to the conversation? Really?
I thought you could.
Why do you think sticking on a few tariffs like band aids will solve the problems OSHA and EPA and all the rest create better than getting rid of the problems would?
This is why Republicans have been failing for 95 years. You're all having too much fun whining about the havoc the Democrats (and Republicans like Nixon) caused and using it as an excuse for even more random exercises of power to simply undo the damage.
What a repetitive bore.
You want us to not only pay enough tax to keep OSHA (to name one of a thousand) in operation, pay extra for domestic products because OSHA is overhead, and pay the government extra to buy things not built where OSHA can affect the operation.
I want to get rid of OSHA.
Why do you hate America?
Germany picked a fight with the whole world -- twice -- despite not having oil.
And there was nothing particularly free about their market either time. Nothing. The first time it was a monarchy, the second time it was socialist.
Got a point to make?
What's wrong with boycotts? Do we really need or want the government choosing who the good guys and bad guys are? We can't decide for ourselves?
Sure, some people won't go along with your boycott. And? Starting a war over what they do is better? Because any other attitude gives the Democracy Spreaders an opening.
Don't hold your breath. If you'll recall, he has such a strong phobia of touching third rails that he walked out in the middle of the Rally for the Republic because Ventura mentioned 9/11.
