This is a couple of years old, but I did a forum search and didn't see it posted anywhere. A Canadian father who has not been vaccinated against Covid has temporarily lost the right to see his 12-year-old child. A judge ruled his visits would not be in the child’s “best interest”. It followed a request by the father to extend his visiting time during the holidays. The judgement is the first depriving a parent of access rights on immunisation grounds, a family law expert told Le Devoir newspaper.

Believe me, they know. See, that doesn't worry liberal hypocrites terribly, really. What's worse by far is, Indians are overwhelmingly voting Trump. That's what really makes decolonialization stick in their throats.

So....I went further down the rabbit hole and I updated the original thread but I should have reposted it here. Apparently Tennessee has a law that violating quarantine is a misdemeanor. So....why did they charge this guy with violating quarantine instead of escaping a penal institution? I'm really scratching my head here. See: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?546198-Nashville-COVID-19-FEMA-camp-confirmed&p=7258967&viewfull=1#post7258967 And this state law gives all kinds of power to unelected health officials. In this book "The Myth Of Mental Illness", Dr. Thomas Szasz posited that there was no such thing as "mental illness", citing the fact that all things so labeled are actually diseases of the brain, which result in cognitive symptoms. While his arguments are compelling, I believe that he missed what may be a single exception to his thesis, constituting a special case. The case to which I refer may be broadly labeled as a brand of psychosis. Certainly there are those sorts of psychoses that are caused by problems with the brain, schizophrenia being a prime example. But there is another brand that roots not in brain malfunction, but in that which an individual comes to believe in cases where no brain infirmity can be identified. One can cite religious indoctrination, as well as that which children are taught in schools, by family, by the various media, the culture at large, and so forth. Psychosis is defined as a disconnection from reality. Psychoses are made manifest in any of a number of ways, including those that have nothing to do with brain dysfunction, but the other ways in which people come to perceive and believe things that do not prove out as being sound and true. An example of this might include the Heaven's Gate cult where people who were presumably intact in organic terms, were convinced to take their own lives for the sake of joining a "mother ship" awaiting them in orbit around the earth. If that does not qualify as psychosis, then I cannot imagine what might. The point I am attempting to convey here is that it appears to me that the adoption as true those things which may be demonstrated as false may qualify as actual mental illness. What else might we call such a condition or circumstance?

Timing is everything. Philando Castille died in 2016 which was the final year of the Obama presidency. The BLM movement, which kicked off in 2014 with the death of Michael Brown, got the memo to not rock the boat further while a democrat was in the Whitehouse. The same thing is happening again with the murder of Sonya Massey. Why wasn't her family invited to speak at the DNC? There were calls for Kamala to address Sonya Massey at the DNC but I can't find any evidence that happened.

I looked up the case but doing a google search on Randle Kirkley. It looks like his case was closed in 2022 because they were unable to indict hin they decided not to prosecute the case. The "no true bill" was for a separate tresspassing charge. https://sci.ccc.nashville.gov/Search/NameSearchDetails/RANDLE%5EKIRKLEY%5E08251980%5E596477 The fact that this was even a thing is what is most concerning. We came close to losing whatever freedoms we have left in 2020. Edit: I looked up the actual statute. It's baffling to me still how they justified arresting him for this so called "crime." Is it outside the realm of possibility that the police might frame an innocent, gun loving, Trump supporting American? And I haven't yet heard what was "illegal" about his guns or seen any pictures of these "multiple fake passports." Just saying.

Timing is everything. Perception is reality. And the court of public opinion is different from the court of law. Do I expect Kamala to face any legal consequences over this? No. Of course not. Not even any from a legal ethics point of view. But is it possible that there are people on the fence looking for a reason not to vote for her that might be swayed by this? Absolutely. There was a reason the Hunter Biden laptop story was suppressed even though there's no chance that he and / or his dad will ever face the full reprecussions of its contents.

Hmmmm....what happened after World War 2 that destablized the entire region including Lebanon? I wonder.... Meanwhile from a more balanced account of how the Lebanese civil war started... https://www.britannica.com/event/Lebanese-Civil-War Background The causes of the war were multifaceted and deeply rooted but can be generalized as a growing crisis of insecurity. After he played a key role as commander of the army in resolving the crisis of a 1958 rebellion, the newly elected president Fuad Chehab made a valiant attempt to address the disproportionate development of the country and to centralize the state’s security apparatus. By the late 1960s, however, the development program he initiated proved politically unsatisfactory and had become a destabilizing force. The strengthened security apparatus, meanwhile, gained a reputation for suppression and corruption. The situation grew more precarious as the government negotiated the presence and operation of PLO guerrillas inside Lebanon’s Palestinian refugee camps, which had attracted Israeli raids on Lebanon, most notably on the airport in Beirut in 1968. As the state proved increasingly unable to maintain a monopoly of force, patronage networks, both existing and new, began arming and organizing their own security.

So far there haven't even been any accusations of Haitians eating humans in America. Zero dividing by anything is still zero. But that's the funny thing about racism. It requires people to look at other people in terms of a group identity while allowing their own group the benefit of being individuals. Looking "per capita" the Haitians you're concerned about are less likely to be on drugs and more likely to show up to work on time than the white people around them "per capita." The white MAGA hat wearing Trump supporters in Springfiled Ohio were complaining that the Haitians had more welfare on their EBT cards than they did. I don't think refugees should be given welfare. But considering that they got it, this is what most likely happened. One person or more people in the household were getting EBT while others were working factory jobs. Since they didn't need the EBT and it rolls over each month that's how they were able to stack up $3,000. Trump was correct that people who were upset about him not paying taxes should change the law rather than bitching about him for taking advantage of it. Same with the migrants who stack up EBT. Maybe EBT payments shouldn't roll over for anybody. Certainly it shouldn't be given to migrants. But these white MAGA hat wearing Trump supporters could get off drugs and go get a job and get to work on time. That's what you would say if they were black and complaining about not getting enough welfare. And even people arguing against the Haitians haven't brought forward evidence that they aren't being paid above minimum wage. Example: https://www.newsweek.com/springfield-emblematic-americas-immigration-death-spiral-opinion-1953366 But today, a new threat is endangering the livelihood of Springfield's citizens: Employers are actively displacing the domestic workforce by hiring newly-arrived immigrants from Haiti. All this at a time when 7 million American men between the ages of 25 and 55 are unemployed, and almost three quarters of the U.S.'s employment growth has come from immigrants since 2019. And not everyone is embarrassed to admit it. "I wish I had 30 more

I said Trump didn't do a thing for him. You then said Trump had nothing to do with it, and added the usual accusation of derangement as if you hadn't agreed with me. Wise people don't cast aspersions on the sanity of people they're agreeing with.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy8x8vw4gwpo Georgia court dismisses two more charges against Trump A court in Georgia has dismissed two of the 10 criminal charges against Donald Trump and one other charge against his allies for alleged attempts to interfere in the 2020 presidential election. Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee ruled on Thursday that the southern state did not have the authority to bring the specific charges related to the alleged filing of false documents in federal court. Judge McAfee allowed the rest of the case to move forward, including eight charges against Trump, out of the original 13.

Remember this? Not too long after that debate, Kamala dropped out because her support, especially among black people, had cratered. Obama putting his support behind Biden helped Biden make it through the primary and that carried on into the general election. But people have not forgotten. There are a lot of left wing black people who can't stand Kamala. They don't like her stance on the Ukraine and Gaza wars. They don't like her wishy washy stance on the things they want like medicare for all. (I know that's not popular here. I'm explaining what others are saying). They see her as a war hawk and as an overzealous prosecutor. Some are upset about Biden / Harris prosecuting black people over going to the U.N. to talk about police brutality. (Very odd considering that the BLM hype train is part of what took Biden into the Whitehouse). And nobody thinks she's doing a good job on the border. The smartest thing that Governors Abbott and Desantis did was bus migrants to Democratic cities like Chicago and New York. Black people are seeing recent migrants taking resources that they feel should have gone to the community. For example a high school that had been closed was renovated at a cost of 1.5 million dollars to be used to house migrants. Some of these problems were surfacing back when Biden was the de facto nominee, but swapping horses with Kamala hasn't worked when her hooves are just as lame. See:
