I won’t let my very aged mother take any chances. Not just this “pandemic”, but any time something is going around.

Trust fund baby? LOL What ever gave you that impression? Well RJB, I guess this forum is like a family... some differences here, some there... if you can’t take out frustrations on them, what’s the sense of having them ;-)

I have been frequenting the local coin shops. Lots of customers who don’t don the mask/gloves/stay your distance. We exchanged coinage back and forth, I was lucky enough to find what I went in for. I stopped at the Sheetz for a coffee, all machines shut off until further notice due to the scare. So I went into Duncan Donuts directly next door and had a better coffee, nobody there donned mask/gloves/stay your distance. Yesterday I needed stuff for the animals. I nor the workers donned said mask/gloves/stay your distance. In fact I brought my animal in with me and made small talk with others who did the same. Today I drove through the McD’s for a coffee, the person donning mask/gloves/stay your distance gave me my coffee in a cardboard box so as not to touch me or the cup and asked that I put the money in a cardboard box. Once the money was received the person took it out of the box to put into the drawer, as if me putting it directly into hand would have made a difference. Not all businesses fall for the rhetoric.

The government did not shut businesses down, they have zero-zip authority. It is the brainwashed - brain dead people who shut their own businesses down, due to state-run propaganda. The government has no authority to shut businesses down. Government run offices and facilities perhaps, but not businesses.

I asked for forgiveness of a $50 fine for a mistake made on my state corporate taxes. I explained my financial situation as a result of the pandemic and told the female rep that the $50 would be used for food. No chance and if I did not pay I was threatened with more fines.

While everyone sits back and laughs as if we are living in pre-virus times there are millions of people that live pay check to pay check that are unable to work. The state unemployment systems are not prepared to handle the load and the federal checks are far off. No job or no state or federal handout, means no money. What do you think is going to happen when these people run low on food?

Well, he has an “R” after his name, after all. The largest spending president in the history of this nation, democrats could only have wet dreams about. Convincing republicans that it is good to take private property and hand it to the Feds for other people’s ”safety”, eliminating private contract rights by making undocumented people “legal” to Fund the Fed, mandate minimum wage, and USMCA which is the North American Union and $15 minimum wage, International Labour Organization, etc. Todays republicans are yesterdays commies. But a bone here and there makes everything bliss. Because “R”.

The economy has been fake for a long time. If they can get through this continuing to print more money and more hand outs, without much effect and inflation it will mean the game works. Opposition would be pointless since they will have proven smoke and mirrors federal reserve works. I would then simply focus on keeping more of your tax dollars, keeping their hands off cryptocurrencies, allowing opt-out of their system and/or receiving any of their services. Let them keep producing money out of thin air and render onto Caesar what is Caesar's. Two worlds, they have theirs which you can opt-in or out and you have yours.

I have been called a conspiracy theorist, now that the cat is out of the bag I am told that though I have predicted such things I need to go along to get along. Dry run, absolutely. From here it is going to get way way worse. Problem is with the younger generation, they can’t miss what they don’t know, so for them it’s life as usual and they totally embrace it, but for folks like you and me it gets way way worse. It’s not just the young folks fault, it’s our generations fault (don’t include me) who raised them to be stupid spoiled pu&&ies.

By Patrick J. Buchanan March 28, 2020 To fight the coronavirus at home, France is removing all military forces from Iraq. When NATO scaled back its war games in Europe because of the pandemic, Russia reciprocated. Moscow announced it would cancel its war games along NATO’s border. Nations seem to be recognizing and responding to the grim new geostrategic reality of March 2020: The pandemic is the real enemy of us all, and while we fight it, each in his own national corner, we are in this together. Never allow a serious crisis to go to waste, said Barack Obama’s chief of staff Rahm Emanuel during the financial crisis.

The globe does not embrace individualism and freedom, the U.S. is not an exception. When this is rolled out, the choice will be made to either comply in order to work, travel, buy groceries and eat, or starve to death in isolation in your rented box. It is your, our tax dollars, which helps fund the majority of these global socialist-fascist initiatives. At what point do we stop. Perhaps the better question is, when do we begin.

The People should have been more concerned about Private Property Rights, Contract Rights, than rallying about giving other people’s property away to the to control for their safety. Eminent domain, elimination of contract rights, “social distancing”, putting companies and people out of work and onto the government dole, papers please, etc. etc. “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety” No matter one’s rationale, it all catches up in the end. That’s just the way life goes.

Other than some here and there, streets and highways are for the most part empty here, but damned be if cops are everywhere. Parking, cruising, walking the streets with dogs. I went to the post office yesterday for a couple of stamps, not a single government employee had gloves or a mask. Same with LEO. Same with docs and nurses at the local hospital. Like I said before, are they somehow exempt immune?

I am down for ALL of that. Now, .gov, leave me the f&ck alone. I do not need or want your help, your “safety”, or anything else you have to “offer”. But if you insist, how about quitting, resigning, and give me back me my own dime! Bunch of thieves.

Yes, but weren't you one of the ones who wanted eVerify/Biometrics, "documentation" of others into a federal database in order to distinguish "them from us", thereby converting undocumented who cannot claim anything into "legal/illegal" so that they may become eligible for stuff? Please correct me if I am wrong ;-)
