There are some things it takes government to do, that's why governments were created. Abolishing the TSA and letting the airlines take care of flight security is a good idea, but we can't allow transportation companies to determine our immigration policies, companies are motivated by short term profits and our liberty is more important than profit.

There is plenty of evidence that they are manipulating the numbers to make Trump look bad. As Trump fixes various globalist schemes that have been hurting Americans the economy has seen some negative effects but it has overall improved and as time goes on and Trump fixes more problems there will be less negativity and more improvement.

Britain moved a step closer to its Jan. 31 exit from the European Union when the legislation required to ratify its deal with Brussels passed its final stage in parliament on Wednesday. The bill will officially become law when it receives Royal Assent from Queen Elizabeth, something that could happen as soon as Thursday. “At times it felt like we would never cross the Brexit finish line, but we’ve done it,” Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a statement. “Parliament has passed the Withdrawal Agreement Bill, meaning we will leave the EU on 31 January and move forwards as one United Kingdom.” Earlier on Wednesday, the lower house of parliament, the House of Commons overturned changes the upper house, the House of Lords, had made to the legislation, including a clause to ensure protections for child refugees after Brexit. Johnson had refused to accept any changes to the bill, which will enact Britain’s departure from the EU, facing down opposition lawmakers who say he has hardened its terms. The Lords could have sought to reinstate the changes, but opted not to, allowing the legislation to clear its final hurdle in Britain. Americans DO own the US and the only way to secure our lives, liberty and property is to control who and how many are allowed to come here.

Ron voted for the Secure Fence act so he must have thought it was better than nothing even if it wasn't perfect, he may have changed his position but he did vote for it. I'd like to see a quote with a source about travel bans, we have every right to control who comes here based on their culture, their hostility towards us or their likelihood to cheat and stay past any limits we place on their stay. Ron is for tariffs as a replacement for other taxes and he is wrong about defensive tariffs to protect us from enemy trade warfare. If we don't control who comes here we will end up a carbon copy of the rest of the world and that will mean tyranny.

High-ranking FBI officials are spilling the beans on a massive cover up involving Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, the State Department and a scheme that steered untold billions of tax dollars to the Clinton Foundation and Clinton associates. Thomas Paine broke the story on his Patreon show on Tuesday night as well as his new Podcast. And the Justice Department is implicated too. Not to mention the disturbing implications surrounding the mysterious death of the FBI’s top financial crimes investigator who was privy to the details of the scheme while leading the Bureau’s investigation of the Clinton Foundation. Even by Washington D.C. standards, criminal conspiracies do not get any deeper than this newly-minted Clinton-linked scandal. And the stakes here are as large as the corruption. Billions of dollars in tax monies swiped from the U.S. Treasury while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state and funneled to shell companies and associates who kicked back untold hordes of cash to the Clinton Foundation and in essence: to the Clinton’s themselves. “We are talking about billions of dollars that were stolen, siphoned, funneled,” one top-level federal source said. “Not millions. Billions. It’s absolutely massive and other members of the Obama administration are involved.”

I would say that Danke is joking. PAF is not, PAF is an open borders anarchist who routinely claims that any measures to limit who can come here are akin to communism because they rest on a collective ownership of territorial rights by Americans for the purpose of protecting their lives and liberty from foreign enemies.

With phase-one talks signed last week, China's GDP growth in 2019 plunged to a 29-year low amid massive credit stimulus that has widely been ineffective to boost growth but has somewhat stabilized the economy. China's largest utility company State Grid has warned that the rate of economic growth in the country is expected to slide to 4% in the next four years. There was even a report on Tuesday showing China has already blamed the 2020 economic slowdown on the coronavirus epidemic that has already killed nine with at least 440 people infected in the country and spreading across the region, along with a new case in the U.S. The Communist Party of China has been quick to blame the slowdown on external factors, such as the trade war and other protectionist policies of President Trump, rather than their failures of amassing more than $40 trillion of debt, nearly 304% of GDP. Coronavirus cases have been found in other places out of Wuhan, Hubei Province, indicating the epidemic is expanding. Concerns are mounting. It is inevitable that people will cut their trips during Spring Festival and holiday consumption will be hit. — Hu Xijin 胡锡进 (@HuXijin_GT) January 21, 2020 Now we're starting to get more local data, on a provincial level, that shows many regions and municipalities have cut their 2020 growth targets over the prior year, reported Reuters.

Greenwald has denied the charges, citing a Brazilian Federal Police investigation that concluded he committed no crimes - and in fact highlighted his "careful and distant posture regarding the execution" of the alleged hacks. "Less than two months ago, the Federal Police, examining all the same evidence cited by the Public Ministry, stated explicitly that not only have I never committed any crime but that I exercised extreme caution as a journalist never even to get close to any participation," said Greenwald, adding "Even the Federal Police under Minister Moro’s command said what is clear to any rational person: I did nothing more than do my job as a journalist — ethically and within the law." Regarding the criminal charges brought by the Bolsonaro government: it’s a grave and obvious attack on a free press, brought by a far-right judge. We’re going to defend a free press, not be intimidated by authorities abusing their power. The reporting will continue. pic.twitter.com/kd9b8Kggx3 — Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) January 21, 2020

With his once-vanquished partner-turned-rival Matteo Salvini breathing down his neck, Luigi Di Maio, the longtime leader of Italy's anti-establishment, left-of-center Five Star Movement, has stepped down from his position at the head of the party, though he will continue to serve as Italy's foreign minister in a coalition government with the centrist Democrats. News of Di Maio's departure is a harbinger of more political turbulence in a country where the ruling coalition is held together by an extremely fragile alliance, and as a result Italian assets - including stocks and government bonds - sold off initially but have since managed to recover losses. The American Petroleum Institute (API) estimated on Wednesday a surprise crude oil inventory build of 1.57 million barrels for the week ending January 17, compared to analyst expectations of a 1.009-million-barrel draw in inventory. Last week saw a build in crude oil inventories of 1.1 million barrels, according to API data. The EIA’s estimates, however, were of a draw of 2.5 million barrels for that week. The API this week also reported another large build of 4.5 million barrels of gasoline for week ending January 17, after last week’s large 3.2-million-barrel build. This week’s large gasoline build compares to analyst expectations of a 3.090-million barrel-build for the week. Distillate, too, saw inventories increase, by 3.5 million barrels for the week, adding onto last week’s large 6.8-million-barrel build, while Cushing inventories fell by 429,000 barrels. US crude oil production as estimated by the Energy Information Administration showed that production for the week ending January 10 increased to 13.0 million bpd, a record high for the United States.
