I see that too, so many violent physical threats over the years from those who do not believe in it.

And they are only given a pass for imperfection because they are useful tools to further one's own personal interests. Everyone else is held to a strict non-individualistic doctrine checklist when being judged by the "individuals". As soon as these representatives are no longer useful to further self interest they will be stoned, persecuted, and excommunicated just like everyone else impure. Sure... Because these Tigers are only concerned about threats to their own tails, they could care less about other Tigers or even the future survival of the species it's self.

Something I have observed over the years is that Libertarianism is pretty ironic in true practice. While preaching individualism and liberty, anyone who deviates from 100% rank and file lock step with the doctrine principles is stoned and persecuted as not worthy, even to the point of wanting excommunication from the public square. While the principles are sound, the true example in practice is hypocritical and anti-individualism. It's just like the Constitutional party claiming they "support Constitutional freedom of religion" just as long as it is a "recognized form of Christianity".

Members of the House Freedom Caucus voted Monday evening to condemn one of the group’s co-founders, Representative Justin Amash (R., Mich.) in response to his impeachment stand against President Trump. Representative Jim Jordan, the ranking Republican on the Oversight Committee and former chairman of the Freedom Caucus, told Politico that the group easily passed the 80 percent threshold for the adoption of a formal position. “It was every single person who totally disagrees with what he says,” Jordan said after the meeting, which Amash did not attend. Cyril Ramaphosa was elected unopposed as South Africa’s president by the National Assembly on Wednesday, while his deputy’s future was in doubt after claims from the ruling African National Congress of wrongdoing.Ramaphosa, who has vowed to clean up the government after his predecessor Jacob Zuma’s scandal-marred nine-year rule, is due to name a new cabinet after his May 25 inauguration following the ANC’s election victory this month. Under the constitution, his deputy must be selected from the ranks of the 400 lawmakers in the National Assembly, meaning David Mabuza could be disqualified from the position. A former schoolteacher, Mabuza, 58, was linked to a succession of scandals while he served as premier of the eastern Mpumalanga province, ranging from accusations that he helped to rig internal party votes and state tenders to having his opponents silenced and even assassinated. The allegations were described in a New York Times expose last year. Mabuza called the story “baseless” and has never been charged. “On the face of it, this is very positive,” said Daryl Glaser, a politics professor at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. “Mabuza is a deeply compromised individual. This certainly gives Ramaphosa an opportunity to clean up his administration.” Yet, the allegations that he has brought the party into disrepute are difficult to prove, and his decision to face the ruling party’s integrity commission could be part of a calculated move to strengthen him politically because he knows he will probably be cleared, said Mpumelelo Mkhabela, an independent political analyst. “He can still be sworn in as an MP and he can still be appointed deputy president,” Mkhabela said. “I think if he is cleared, he will be more emboldened and powerful than he is now.” Ramaphosa initially favored Higher Education Minister Naledi Pandor or International Relations Minister Lindiwe Sisulu to be his deputy, but gave the post to Mabuza who won the deputy leadership of the ruling party in December 2017 and helped him secure the top post. Mabuza’s ineligibility would clear the way for Ramaphosa to appoint whoever he pleases. More at: https://news.yahoo.com/south-african-deputy-president-reappointment-081120296.html

A rare show of bipartisan unity broke out in Washington Wednesday as Republicans and Democrats on the House Oversight Committee expressed concerns over the rapid spread of facial recognition software used by technology companies. “I don’t want to see an authoritarian surveillance state, whether it’s run by a government or whether it’s run by five corporations,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., said in reference to Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Google and Facebook. Made up of former law enforcement and legal officials as well as face recognition experts, a panel of five witnesses testified at the hearing, with most calling for Congress to take quick action to regulate the technology. They found a receptive audience. “You’ve hit the sweet spot that brings progressives and conservatives together,” Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., said. “When you have a diverse group on this committee, as diverse as you might see on the polar ends, I’m here to tell you we’re serious about this, and let’s get together and work on legislation.” On the other side of the country, however, Amazon shareholders rejected a proposal that would have urged the company to ensure its technology doesn’t violate civil rights. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-O.H., said the lack of standards for government agencies using recognition software reminded him of George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984.”

Ukrainian lawmakers on Wednesday turned down the new president's proposal to amend the election law in a blow to his hopes to get more of his supporters into parliament.Volodymyr Zelenskiy, a 41-year-old comedian who won 73% of the presidential vote last month, dissolved parliament on Tuesday, saying that current lawmakers were too focused on self-enrichment and lacked public trust. Zelenskiy, who became famous for playing the role of a Ukrainian president in a popular TV sitcom, was gambling that his popularity will allow his party to make a successful showing in the parliamentary vote set for July 21. His landslide victory reflected Ukrainians' exasperation with the country's economic woes and rampant corruption. Zelenskiy proposed changes to the electoral law to have the next parliament elected entirely on party lists, arguing that the current system in which part of the legislature is elected in single-ballot races foments graft. But lawmakers refused to consider Zelenskiy's proposal. Former President Petro Poroshenko's allies favor the current election system, hoping that it will help them keep their seats. Zelenskiy criticized his foes and urged voters to elect a new generation of politicians. "The old politicians chose the old system because it gives them a chance to extend their political existence," he said on Facebook. "They hope to sneak back into the Verkhovna Rada, but I'm sure they are mistaken and you will elect the new politicians capable of changing the country in deeds, not words." Zelenskiy's envoy to parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, accused lawmakers of breaking a deal on changing the electoral law he said had been agreed the day before. "I hope that there is still some time left to force Verkhovna Rada to do its work," he said. Rada speaker Andriy Parubiy denounced Zelenskiy's decree disbanding parliament as unconstitutional, saying that lawmakers will challenge it in courts.

The Mexican Senate will hold special sessions June 19-21 to discuss and potentially approve a constitutional reform to hold popular referendums and recall elected officials, El Heraldo de Mexico reported May 21. Mexico's lower house of Congress has already approved the reform. The constitutional reform would allow Mexican voters to hold legally binding referendums on policies and even individual private investments. If approved, it would increase risks for industries that often clash with local interest, particularly energy, mining, agriculture and retail sectors. CARE Ratings, India's second-largest credit ratings agency, has downgraded financial instruments of one of the country's biggest housing lenders, Dewan Housing Finance, over ongoing concerns over financial mismanagement, Reuters reported May 21. The development highlights the crisis among India's nonbanking financial institutions, as one so-called "shadow bank" defaulted on its payments in September 2018, prompting mutual funds and regular banks to become more hesitant in lending additional funds to shadow banks. The Netherlands’ asylum minister Mark Harbers was forced to resign after he hid the number of ‘refugees’ suspected of serious crimes from a crime report. Harbers failed to include a category called ‘other’ in the report on crimes committed by asylum seekers, which included 79 sexual offenses, 51 aggravated assaults, and 31 suspicions of murder and manslaughter. Harbers’ excuse for not reporting the figures was that it would lead to “confusion”. “Last week’s report showed ‘fake’ asylum seekers who come from so-called safe countries, namely Morocco and Algeria, were responsible for almost half the 4,600 incidents requiring police intervention,” according to DutchNews.nl. Other European countries have massaged stats on migrant crime or refused to release details altogether. In 2016, Swedish police were ordered to stop reporting the ethnicity of suspects over fears of being branded “racist”. The following year, Sweden’s “most experienced police investigator,” Peter Springare went public with claims that migrants were responsible for most of the crime in Sweden.

American retail chain Target recently donated $100,000 to a non-profit whose founder praised a NAMBLA advocate and teaches students and teachers in schools grades K-12 about “sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.” The group, GLSEN, was founded by Kevin Jennings in 1990 with a plan to be “the leading national education organization focused on ensuring safe and affirming schools for LGBTQ students.” Jennings was President Obama’s Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools at the U.S. Department of Education from 2009 to 2011 where he continued pushing a pro-homosexual agenda in American schools. As a part of the government’s Common Core initiative, GLSEN teaches elementary school children in grades 3-5 about “gender identity and expression,” and “gender-neutral” pronouns according to a lesson plan on their website. In 2009, Jennings was under fire for failing to report a 15-year-old sophomore student in his school who told him about his sexual relationship with an older man. The GLSEN founder was also criticized for praising Harry Hay who frequently defended the North American Association for Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA). Target’s Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing and Digital Officer, Rick Gomez happens to be on the board of GLSEN, as promoted on the department store’s website. In addition to the generous donation, Target has started selling its own line of LGBTQ products, including kids and baby clothes.

Former Defense Secretary General James Mattis and some White House employees were directly aware of and monitoring a team working to launch a Mattis Republican primary campaign against President Donald Trump in the 2020 election, according to documents obtained by Big League Politics and statements from the organizers who put the team together. “My job was to see what his pathway to the White House would look like,” Travis Snyder told Big League Politics in a series of interviews, referring to General Mattis. “There was a very small team.” Snyder, a twenty-five year-old Indiana-based political consultant whom insiders say is close to Vice President Mike Pence, ran point on the operation, which Mattis and others were keeping track of. Snyder also confirmed that the group polled Mike Pence’s chances to run against Trump, and found that Pence had no chance. “I oversaw early states polling, putting together possible running mates,” Snyder said. “I did not work with the fundraising team. I solely looked at what his path to the nomination would look like, and then his pathway to the White House,” Snyder said, declining to name the donors to the effort or the main person organizing it. Running mate prospects included Nikki Haley and Dan Crenshaw. “Nikki Haley was polled. Jackie Walorski, Mitch Daniels. There were regional smaller named people like Staff Sergeant Johnny Joe Jones” but Jones did not have the name ID, Snyder said.

Libertarian National Committee Chair Nicholas Sarwark opposes Alabama’s latest pro-life bill. In a statement on Facebook, Sarwark said, “The Libertarian Party calls for an end to government persecution and prosecution of the women who choose abortions and of the medical personnel who assist them.” Renowned libertarians like former Congressman Ron Paul maintain pro-life stances, given their belief that governments exist to protect life from external aggression. Since the 2016 presidential elections, when the Libertarian Party nominated Gary Johnson and Bill Weld as their presidential ticket, the party has taken a leftward, politically correct turn. This has concerned long-time libertarians and has even caused more traditionalist libertarians like Tom Woods to join the party in their efforts to reform it. Sarwark’s latest statement only confirms this trend. More at: https://bigleaguepolitics.com/libertarian-party-chair-rejects-liberty-for-unborn-babies-supports-legalized-murder/

The DeVos family, the rich conservatives who are a mainstay of west Michigan GOP politics, have announced that they no longer support Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) following his public endorsement for impeachment of President Donald Trump this weekend. DeVos family spokesman Nick Wasmiller told the Detroit News that they have not contributed to Amash during this political cycle and “they have no plans to do so.” He says they came to this decision before Amash announced his belief that Trump was guilty of “impeachable conduct,” as they had noticed a decided shift from the Congressman. “Family members have expressed increasing concerns about a lack of representation for their district, the 3rd Congressional, and I would say an inability to advance efforts connected to important policy matters,” Wasmiller said. Despite losing the support of the DeVos family, Amash still arrogantly dismisses primary challengers who have announced their opposition to him. “It’s not serious,” Amash said today of his announced opponents, Michigan House Rep. Jim Lower and veterans rights advocate Tom Norton. The DeVos family is currently undecided on whether they plan to support one of Amash’s announced opponents, or perhaps a future one as the Grand Rapids Congressman has become a lightning rod within Michigan conservative politics. “I don’t think they’ve considered that up until this point,” Wasmiller said. “I think those folks have announced fairly recently, and (the family will) go through their standard review process to determine if they will support someone, and if so, who that is.”

The Turkish Lira tumbled as much as 1% against the dollar, leading a decline across emerging markets... ... while Turkish stock market losses accelerated as the Borsa Istanbul 100 Index falls 1.5%, declining for a 6th day and 13 of the past 14, to touch the lowest level since January 2017, effectively entering a bear market, having tumbled 20% from the March highs. While there wasn't a specific event behind today's mauling of Turkey, which to many investors has become the canary in the emerging markets coalmine, the selling picked up after Turkey said soldiers had been dispatched for training in Russia ahead of the delivery of the S-400 missile-defense system. The United States Navy wants to archive 350 billion social media posts in order to conduct “research.” What exactly does the military want to study? “Modes of collective expression.” The Department of the Navy has posted a solicitation asking contractors to bid on a project that would amass a staggering 350 billion social media posts dating from 2014 through 2016. The data will be taken from a single social media platform – but the solicitation does not specify which one. -RT “We seek to acquire a large-scale global historical archive of social media data, providing the full text of all public social media posts, across all countries and languages covered by the social media platform,” the contract synopsis reads. The Navy said that the archive would be used in “ongoing research efforts” into “the evolution of linguistic communities” and “emerging modes of collective expression, over time and across countries.” This is simply spying and the research will be used for propaganda purposes, and that is blatantly obvious at this point. The intentions are far from benign. The archive will draw from publicly available social media posts and “no private communications or private user data” will be included in the database. However, all records must include the time and date at which each message was sent and the public user handle associated with the message. Additionally, each record in the archive must include all publicly available meta-data, including country, language, hashtags, location, handle, timestamp, and URLs, that were associated with the original posting. -RT So basically, most of your information is going to be stored by the U.S. military. The data must be collected from at least 200 million unique users in at least 100 countries, with no single country accounting for more than 30 percent of users, according to the contract. Iraq will raise the oil production from its giant West Qurna 1 field by as much as 50,000 bpd in the next few days, a senior industry official told Reuters on Wednesday, days after the oil field developer ExxonMobil evacuated all its foreign staff from the field amid security concerns. Currently, the West Qurna 1 oil field pumps around 440,000 bpd, while Iraq’s intention is to increase that production to 490,000 bpd within days, Basra Oil Company chief Ihsan Abdul Jabbar told Reuters. Earlier this month, Iraq was close to signing a mega US$53-billion deal with Exxon and PetroChina to develop oil fields in the south. The deal was “very close” but has been slowed by Exxon’s departure from Iraq, Ghadhban said this weekend.
