Ken Cuccinelli, one of President Trump's top immigration officials, previewed on Friday an expansion of a series of controversial policies the administration has implemented to severely restrict access to America's asylum system at the southern border and deter U.S.-bound migrants.Cuccinelli, an immigration hard-liner and the second-highest ranking official at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), revealed that in the coming weeks, the Trump administration will expand programs designed to fast-track the deportation of asylum-seekers. It will also look to implement agreements with Central American countries that allow the U.S. to reroute migrants who express fear of persecution at the southern border to the region. In two weeks, Cuccinelli said, U.S. officials expect to expand two programs designed to expedite the deportation of asylum-seekers along the entire southern border. One of the policies, known as PACR, is for non-Mexican migrants who are generally rendered ineligible for asylum under the administration's sweeping third country transit asylum restriction, while the other, called HARP, is a similar policy for Mexican asylum-seekers. As early as next week, Cuccinelli added, the U.S. could start implementing its "Asylum Cooperative Agreement" with Honduras. A team of U.S. officials will be there to facilitate the implementation, he said. The agreement, one of three the U.S. forged last year with all countries in Central America's Northern Triangle, allows the U.S. to deny certain asylum-seekers access to America's asylum system at the southern border and require them to choose between seeking protection in the receiving country or returning home. During the call Friday, Cuccinelli also suggested there's a possibility that so-called extra-continental migrants — which could include asylum-seekers from Brazil, Venezuela and Africa who have journeyed to the U.S.-Mexico border in higher numbers in the past year — could be subject to the asylum agreements with the Central American governments. Such a move would mean that the U.S. could send non-Spanish speaking migrants who seek asylum at America's southern border to Central America. DHS officials have had a more difficult time deterring these asylum-seekers since they are generally exempt from the department's main border policy, the Migrant Protection Protocols, or MPP.

Opponents of Brexit are reportedly planning to try and remove the new commemorative Brexit 50p coins from circulation by buying them up in large amounts. Readers of pro-Remain newspaper The New European took to social media shortly after Chancellor Sajid Javid unveiled the coin over the weekend. Several Remainers posted on Facebook, vowing to take action and buy as many of the coins as possible after they enter circulation on January 31 - the day Britain leaves the EU. "If and when I get one of these 50 pence coins I shall remove it from circulation, keep it in a drawer, and return them all to a bank on the day the UK rejoins the EU which I predict will not be long," wrote John Perry. "Put them in a pot. Get them out of circulation. There is only a relatively small amount being made, 500,000 I think so it would be easy if everyone plays the game!" responded Ian Payne. "16 million people voted remain. I'm sure we can remove this coin very quickly," he added. About three million Brexit coins will enter circulation around the UK from Friday, with a further seven million to be added later in the year.

President Donald Trump has done it again. He just keeps winning. He just keeps proving the Trump Doctrine works magnificently. Don't look now, but Trump has even built his wall -- and Mexico is paying for it. Illegal immigrant crossings nationwide are down almost 80%. At the Arizona-Mexico border, illegal crossings are down by 94%. Once-overcrowded dorms, where we house illegal border crossers, are now empty. And Mexico is keeping illegals who demand asylum on their side of the border. It's another huge Trump victory. How did he do it? Trump won a masterful negotiation with Mexico. Trump understood Mexico needs us far more than we need it. We could make its economy crumble in a nanosecond. Mexico blinked, just like China and Iran. Faced with tariffs and economic ruin, Mexican officials agreed to place thousands of troops, at their expense, at both their northern and southern borders. Suddenly, no one can get through. A Mexican journalist just named this human wall of Mexican troops "Trump's Wall." So, in fact, Trump has built the wall, a human wall. And Mexico is paying for it. Bravo. The next time you fly on United Airlines, know that part of your fee goes to support of illegal aliens, their attorneys and the violation of Federal immigration laws. “In an effort to fill the gap, OneJustice and the California Rural Legal Assistance are partnering to host two free legal clinics next month in San Luis Obispo County—one focused on expunging criminal records, the other on immigration assistance. The expungement clinic will take place on Friday, Feb. 7, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., in the SLO Library Community Room. The immigration clinic is slated for Saturday, Feb. 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Paso Robles Community Church. Clinic participants will benefit from one-on-one consultations with private attorneys, who will be flown in from San Francisco and Los Angeles free of charge courtesy of United Airlines. Prince Andrew was so close to Jeffrey Epstein’s accused madam Ghislaine Maxwell he would secretly let her into Buckingham Palace up to four times a day, his former police protection officer claims. Former London cop Paul Page told the Sunday Mirror that even before the Epstein scandal blew up from his child-sex conviction, Maxwell’s visits to the palace were kept hush-hush. “We’ve got a guest coming for Andrew but the name is not to be entered in the book,” Page claims he was told by the Palace’s property managers the first time he saw Maxwell visit in 2001. “Half an hour after that, me and my colleague walked through the garden to go back to the police lodge and he was having a picnic with her by the summer house, opposite the Queen’s *bedroom window,” claimed the ex-cop. Page — who was Andrew’s royal protection officer from 1998 to 2004 — told the UK paper that the British media heiress soon became a regular visitor. The best fun my wife and I ever had was when the wind broke off her pole bird feeder. She went and stuck it back in the ground only about a foot off the ground. That is when we found out ground squirrels can box. We spent hours and hours laughing at these guys actually standing on their back legs like a human literally boxing each other for rights to that feeder.

I know, the prices are crazy! Tell you what... Amtrack scared me more than all the flying I have done in my life. Did you note how close those get to other cars going the other direction as they rock back and forth? They get within inches of each other.

I agree, the preliminary reports are a possible in flight cabin fire. This would be a pretty rough situation to try and save if true.

From what I heard it was a cabin fire. probably wiring. It could happen in a car too, but a car is already on the ground and can't fall from the sky.

If you ask his main right hand number one mod, he went crazy... :) What he did not know was that I had inside info from Mike himself about his home life situation. And he had some serious problems for sure, and probably could have benefited from a long vacation from it. But it did not justify completely destroying the site and half the Libertarian movement.

Thank you for this Ender. Despite our own past debates and discrepancies, what you say is very important. It is everything we oppose. It is rule by fear and threat. It is a poor example if one wants to further this movement.

Yes it was, true free speech was very important there. And even when this forum was at it's best the DP had at least twice the members. While this site would like to take credit for almost getting Ron Paul elected it was not, It was the Daily Paul that got it done. That was where the true effective Liberty movement was at... It was the absolute base for the Libertarian movement.

He didn't go crazy, (well, depending on who you ask) But his personal situation with marriage and personal home life was taxing him very very hard. He let this carry over to to the site, and it eventually caused him to destroy it rather than let it continue. He had many ,any offers to buy it but just refused period. He had decided to kill it. It takes more intestinal fortitude and integrity to admit a mistake and correct it, than to let a wrong stand at the cost of others and the forum as a whole. Not even a need to admit, just correct and let it go from there.
