The corporate media is reporting intrepid crusader Robert Mueller is preparing to do a Pontius Pilate on his special council investigation of Russia and the Trump campaign. According to WaPo, Mueller has beefed up his team with a number of prosecutors and the job of prosecuting Russian nationals for supposedly influencing the 2016 election will be fobbed off on them. “The Post reports that the new hires are the first indication of Mueller preparing for the end of his investigation,” WaPo reported. The Trump component is in the process of performing a disappearing act in slow motion. The investigation petered out months ago. Democrats continued to pound on it. Because it’s all they have. The establishment Resistance run by Pelosi and Schumer is treading water and looking toward the midterms. It’s like simple math. There is no evidence Trump or his associates colluded with Putin and the Russians to somehow - through the exaggerated influence of social media - throw the election in his favor. This nonsense was dispelled early on. It’s true. Enterprising Russians ran a lucrative clickbait scheme on social media - just like hundreds of other entrepreneurs. It took the the Democrats - fresh off a humiliating defeat to a casino and real estate windbag - to make up a fantasy deserving of a novel discount bin. Establishment Dems counted on the corporate media to whip up the required hysteria and frenzy among already hysterical and frenzied liberals. Many apparently sought trauma counseling after the election. Even with the media lavishing coverage on the Mueller investigation, it has failed to do much of anything except get Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, and others in trouble - not for working under Putin’s direction to get the MAGA candidate elected, but for alleged bank fraud and violation of campaign finance laws.

It directly relates to what you said but you are either too stupid to understand or are playing dumb. You make perfect the enemy of good and demand an equal level of vehement opposition to Trump, the Swampublicans and the Demoncrats in spite of the vast differences between the three. The public has shown it is not going to embrace the perfect any time soon but we can get them there if we move them step by step within the range that they will support. Trump is not the lesser of two evils, he is the least of all possible goods, I will support him until something better comes along, if he succeeds the public's comfort range will have moved in the right direction and they will accept something better the next time.

We can shift things in the right direction until we get where we should be or we can all vote Demoncrat and then launch an actual revolution against the communist police state they will erect without the support of a foreign power. People aren't going to all wake up one day and vote LP. (especially with the LP doing everything in its power to drive them away) The odds of success with the second option aren't worth discussing.

Follow the link for the charts, I couldn't get them to show up here. The Iranian rial just hit an all-time low (see chart below). The Islamic Republic of Iran remains in the ever-tightening grip of an economic death spiral. The economy is ever-vulnerable because of problems created by the last Shah, and added to massively by the incompetence and shenanigans of the theocratic regime. Indeed, the economy is more vulnerable to both internal and external shocks than ever. How fast the death spiral will spin is anyone’s guess. With the collapse of the rial, Iran's inflation has surged. The most important price in an economy is the exchange rate between the local currency and the world’s reserve currency — the U.S. dollar. In Iran, the IRR/USD exchange rate, represents the most important price. By using active and available black-market (read: free market) data for the Iranian rial, I have transformed the black-market exchange rate into accurate measurements of country wide inflation. The economic principle of Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) allows for this reliable transformation. The chart below shows how Iran’s implied annual inflation rate has surged to an annual rate of 147% with the collapse of the rial’s value against the U.S. dollar. That’s a whopping 137.3% points higher than the official rate of 9.7%. And for Iranians, these contrasting figures bring back a line from the Marx Bros. “Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?”

I don't care what he did in the past, I only care what is doing in office, I am well aware of his back history and that is why I didn't vote for him but he is not acting in office the way his record would have predicted. I will still support anyone better against him but right now we are benefiting from him.

The question should really be if the phone company has a right to keep a record of your location in the first place, if the data weren't recorded they couldn't volunteer to give it to the government and warrant would be required to start logging the data.

TDS has blinded you to all the things he has actually done besides the things he hasn't that Hitlery would have done, I opposed Trump at first but unlike you I can admit when I am wrong so when he actually began doing some good things my position changed, I still would like to replace him with someone better but I can see we are actually better off because of him.

While the U.S. shale production in the Permian has been grabbing most of the market and media attention over the past two years, the Gulf of Mexico has been quietly staging a comeback. Big Oil firms, the main operators in the Gulf of Mexico, have been cutting costs and simplifying designs to make offshore projects viable in the lower-for-longer oil price world. Chevron, Shell, and BP continue with their deepwater developments offshore Louisiana and Texas and have brought down breakeven costs to $40 a barrel or less—comparable with the breakevens at some shale formations onshore. Now operators are vying for new exploration acreage close to existing production platforms that would bring development and production costs down even further. While the market and media have focused on the record Permian production, the Gulf of Mexico’s production is also expected to hit a record high this year. But there’s one huge difference between onshore and offshore in terms of resource development—for shale wells, production peaks in several months, while vast deepwater resources can pump oil for decades. Chevron says that offshore crude oil extraction, including deepwater, is closing in on shale in terms of cost thanks to new production technologies. “In the past, a lot of the cost of development has been new technology,” Jeff Shellebarger, president of Chevron’s North American division, told Bloomberg. “With the types of reservoirs we’re drilling today, most of that learning curve is behind us. Now we can keep those costs pretty competitive.” According to Wood Mackenzie, oil and gas production in deepwater Gulf of Mexico is expected to reach an all-time record high this year at 1.935 million boepd, of which 80 percent is oil—beating the previous record from 2009 by nearly 10 percent and representing 13-percent growth year over year.

Trump is not perfect but he is doing more good than any other politician around, Rand or Ron might have done better if they had won but they didn't. You are the one who is fooling yourself because you refuse to admit you were even a little bit wrong.

And nations exist and hold territorial rights collectively, anarchists try to deny it but it is how the world works and how it must work, we have a right to keep out people who will alter our politics for the worse and take away our rights.

LOL, I have other things to do, you must be really desperate to resort to the response time fallacy. Government wasted money on those things and then stopped short, only private enterprise could ever do them right and truly take mankind into space. And trying to tame the rest of the world either by bringing them to the west or by wasting blood and treasure conquering and reforming them is the detour that has not only brought progress to a halt but is threatening to destroy everything. Again you think like a statist.

The rest of the world has a worse political culture and bad immigration policy has dramatically contributed to the sorry state of ours. Some rights are based on ownership and only the owners have them, Americans own America and have a right to be here while others own other places and have a right to be there. LOL, when have I ever claimed "brown people" don't have a right to arms? Great idea there, foreign interventionism...................I wonder why I never thought of it.

Wrong again, the meme I responded to did not refer to NASA and neither did I, YOU are the one who brought up NASA as if they are the ones who would take us to other planets and the stars and that Demoncrats are to be given credit for that. Private industry will mine the asteroids and the moon and take us to other worlds if leftist government gets out of the way and doesn't destroy western civilization by flooding it with barbarians who will drag us down to tribal anarchy. The meme says space and I think private while you think government, nothing more needs to be said. LOL, opposition will arise to the right of the Swampublicans after the Demoncrats are destroyed, having the left around keeps the Swampublicans the lesser of two evils so most of the sane public won't ever consider better options.

What I responded to was one of the most ignorant thins I've read. Money payed for a legitimate service is not theft just because in some cases the organization it is owed to has to extract it from someone who attempts to avoid paying what they owe. Anarchists believe the government doesn't have a legitimate purpose so they can claim that all taxation is theft.
