In the wake of the Virginia gun rights rally on Monday, Democrats in the Capitol are not slowing down their push for tyranny. They are moving a bill through the legislature that would effectively criminalize dissent against Governor Blackface Northam and other state government officials. House Bill 1627 was introduced by Delegate Jeffrey M. Bourne last week. The legislation “provides that certain crimes relating to threats and harassment may be prosecuted in the City of Richmond if the victim is the Governor, Governor-elect, Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant Governor-elect, Attorney General, or Attorney General-elect, a member or employee of the General Assembly, a justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia, or a judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia.” Language in the bill explicitly criminalizes free speech, in what would constitute a blatant attack on the 1st Amendment of the Constitution. As if there needs to be further evidence that the current occupant of St. Peter’s Chair in Rome is a Marxist, the announcement of an upcoming conference at Assisi entitled the “Economy of Francesco” should convince any skeptic otherwise. In his invitation letter to “young economists and entrepreneurs worldwide,” Bergoglio sets the agenda for the Leftist confab quite clearly which is virulently anti-market, a call for massive redistribution of wealth, and a reordering of the current economic systems of the world with a healthy dose of climate change nonesense: ...a different kind of economy: one that brings life not death, one that is inclusive and not exclusive, humane and not dehumanizing, one that cares for the environment and does not despoil it. While Bergoglio’s Marxist credentials have been firmly established, his blasphemous actions and words has a growing number outside of “sedevacantist circles” calling him a heretic. The mastermind behind Bergoglio’s summit is professor Luigino Bruni and from his comments he sounds more radical than the Argentine Apostate, if that is possible. Professor Bruni wants to use taxation as a weapon to “redistribute income and wealth from the rich to the poor.” Bruni, a professor of political economy at the Italian University, LUMSA, and the author of a number of books, basis his advocacy for redistribution of wealth on the Scriptures:

It’s safer to ‘migrate’ to the European Union than to fight the Libyan National Army near Tripoli. At least 17 members of Turkish-backed Syrian armed groups deployed in Libya reportedly threw down arms and fled to Italy via the illegal migration route heading the European Union through Tripoli, controlled by the pro-Turkish Government of National Accord (GNA). According to Al Hadath TV, another group of Turkish proxy fighters fled to Tunisia. Their final goal is also the European Union. Rudy Giuliani on Monday accused his former associate, Lev Parnas, of telling multiple lies during a media tour last week, including about whether Attorney General William Barr was aware of the Trump lawyer’s activities related to Ukraine. “I will tell you this definitively, I never spoke to Attorney General Barr about this investigation. Never once,” Giuliani told Fox News’s Laura Ingraham. Giuliani was responding to Parnas’s claims in interviews with CNN and MSNBC last week that it was “impossible” that Barr was unaware that Parnas worked closely with Giuliani in 2019 to collect and disseminate information related to Ukraine. Parnas helped Giuliani arrange interviews with former Ukrainian prosecutors regarding Joe and Hunter Biden. Giuliani and Parnas also coordinated with other Trump allies to push for Marie Yovanovitch’s removal as U.S. ambassador to Ukraine. “Mr. Barr had to have known everything,” Parnas told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in an interview on Jan. 15.

A bombshell new report is derailing the Democrats’ momentum against President Trump on Day One of the Senate impeachment trial. The article — in the left-leaning Politico of all places — on Tuesday night alleges that House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff appears to have “mischaracterized” evidence that was used in House Democrats’ impeachment investigation. But Republicans are ridiculing the report as an attempt to “soft-pedal” his actions, insisting that Schiff “fabricated evidence” in a naked attempt to “frame” Trump. Either way, the shocking late-night report has thrown the Democrats’ Senate plan into complete chaos. The stunning report focuses on a letter that Schiff sent to House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) last week that summarizes “a trove of evidence from Lev Parnas, an indicted former associate of Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani,” Politico reported. “In one section of the letter, Schiff claims that Parnas ‘continued to try to arrange a meeting with President Zelensky,’ citing a specific text message exchange where Parnas tells Giuliani: ‘trying to get us mr Z.’ The remainder of the exchange — which was attached to Schiff’s letter — was redacted.” Politico added, “But an unredacted version of the exchange shows that several days later, Parnas sent Giuliani a word document that appears to show notes from an interview with Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma, followed by a text message to Giuliani that states: ‘mr Z answers my brother.’ That suggests Parnas was referring to Zlochevsky not Zelensky.” Democrat officials did not dispute the suggestion that Schiff’s claim was false. A Republican aide told Politico that the false claim was at best the result of sloppy work, and at worst a deliberate attempt to falsify evidence to try and frame the President of the United States.

Tim Walker and his daughter Carolyn Walker were taking the trash out Sunday evening at their Bethel home when they saw a flash in the sky. “I didn’t notice it at first, but we started walking, she was like, ‘Dad! Look at the light in the sky! What is that?'" Tim said. “And if you actually see the video, I stop and actually set the trashcan down, and I’m like, ‘What is that?’” You can see on their Ring camera the colors in the sky are red and orange with a little pink and purple too. “In the video, you’ll see it slowly, slowly, and then it gets really bright like dusk or a firework or lightning in the background,” Tim explained. The father-daughter duo admits it scared them at first. They also say, despite the bright colors and length of the incident, they never heard a sound.

So much can change in just 24 hours. It was just yesterday that China's top twitter troll and Beijing propaganda voice to the west, Global Time Editor in Chief Hu Xijin was downplaying the risk from the coronavirus outbreak, comparing it to the SARS epidemic in 2003, and saying that "during SARS epidemic, even many medical staff contracted virus and died of it. It doesn't look the same this time." Chinese society is mobilizing to deal with the new coronavirus. But its risks of human-to-human transmission and fatality rate appear lower than SARS. During SARS epidemic, even many medical staff contracted virus and died of it. It doesn't look the same this time. https://t.co/k43u1R4d5c — Hu Xijin 胡锡进 (@HuXijin_GT) January 20, 2020 Oops, because just a few hours later, we got confirmation that at least 15 medical staff had in fact contracted the virus which now appears to be spreading human-to-human, as six people have died among 291 confirmed cases in China, eliminating any attempts to further downplay the significance of the coronavirus epidemic which has reportedly infected hundreds of people across China. So in a dramatic 180-degree reversal, the same twitter troll now had an entirely different message to the word: not only is "the epidemic expanding" and "concerns are mounting", but more importantly, "It is inevitable that people will cut their trips during Spring Festival and holiday consumption will be hit." Coronavirus cases have been found in other places out of Wuhan, Hubei Province, indicating the epidemic is expanding. Concerns are mounting. It is inevitable that people will cut their trips during Spring Festival and holiday consumption will be hit. — Hu Xijin 胡锡进 (@HuXijin_GT) January 21, 2020 So what happened? It appears Beijing decided to not let a perfectly good crisis go to waste, and just as "trade war" was used as a 2019 scapegoat on which to blame the slowdown in the economy, an economy which is rapidly slowing down for vastly different reasons, it will now blame the coronavirus epidemic on the ongoing slowdown of the Chinese economy. The reason reason for the slowdown? China's ghastly debt load of over 300% of GDP...

The day after a massive gathering of gun-rights activists at the Virginia Capitol, the state Senate on Tuesday advanced legislation that would allow authorities to take guns away from people deemed dangerous to themselves or others. The Democratic-led Senate gave preliminary approval to approved the so-called “red flag” law. The measure is set for a final vote in the Senate, likely Wednesday, before going to the House. Republicans blasted the bill as an assault on gun rights and civil liberties. Democrats said the bill was a thoughtful measure that would preserve due process while also protecting people against potential gun violence. Also on Tuesday, the Democratic-led House killed several pro-gun measures in a subcommittee meeting. Those GOP-backed measures included a bill to allow people to carry concealed handguns without a permit and to repeal a limit on carrying weapons in churches and other places of worship. The Trump administration is planning to add seven countries - Belarus, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sudan and Tanzania - to its travel ban list, U.S. media reports said on Tuesday. Some countries will face bans only on some visa categories, the Wall Street Journal reported. The list of countries was not final and could yet change, website Politico said. U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview with the Journal that he was considering adding countries to the travel ban, but declined to state which ones. Politico said an announcement was expected as early as Monday. A senior Trump administration official said that countries that failed to comply with security requirements, including biometrics, information-sharing and counter-terrorism measures, faced the risk of limitations on U.S. immigration. Oil production in the seven most prolific shale plays in the United States is set to increase by 22,000 bpd in February to 9.2 million bpd, the Energy Information Administration said in the latest edition of its monthly Drilling Productivity Report. Production in set to decrease in the Anadarko, Eagle Ford, and Niobrara regions by a combined 28,000 bpd next month, but are more than offset by increases in the Permian and Bakken plays, which together should add 50,000 bpd in February, according to the EIA. With the Illinois primary less than two months away, a spokesman for the Illinois State Board of Elections has admitted that some non-citizens of the United States may have illegally voted in the 2018 election because of the new automatic voter registration process implemented in the state.Spokesman Matt Dietrich told WCIA on Monday that 574 non-U.S. citizens were inadvertently registered to vote in Illinois, adding, “We do know that some of them voted in 2018.” He surmised that some may have been legal citizens who incorrectly filled out the state form to vote, although it appears much if not all of the problem was that Illinois permits non-citizens to obtain driver’s licenses. Democrat Secretary of State Jesse White’s office acknowledged the mistake in a letter to the State Board of Elections on December 18. Spokesman Henry Haupt of White’s office stated, “For whatever reason that technological programming error did not properly remove the individuals. The individuals who are applying for driver’s license were inadvertently pooled into the automatic voter registration.” More at: https://www.dailywire.com/news/illinois-dems-admit-mistake-allowed-non-citizens-to-vote-in-2018 But Zippy keeps telling me this is impossible.

Gun Owners of America (GOA) announced the passing of its founder, Hubert Leon “Bill” Richardson, on January 13, calling him a “feisty” Republican from Southern California who challenged the powers that be. Called “Wild Bill” by his friends, Richardson served as a California state senator for 23 years, from 1966 to 1989. He failed in efforts to gain a seat in the U.S. Congress, but left a legacy in how successful political campaigns are run. Blessed with an effervescent personality and a sense of humor, he galvanized efforts to replace three liberal state Supreme Court justices, including Rose Bird, the only Supreme Court justice in California history to be removed from office by voters. When threats to the Second Amendment appeared in the mid-1970s, Richardson formed Gun Owners of California, using a strategy that remains in place today. Says its current executive director Bill Paredes (Richardson’s son-in-law), “Any time a legislator talked against the Second Amendment, Richardson would recruit candidates and help fund them, train them, and run them against some of these incumbents. They didn’t like that but they had no means to fight back except not to sponsor legislation like that anymore.” Richardson teamed up with Richard Viguerie, the master developer of direct-mail campaigns in political races, and brought in millions from small donors to fund those efforts. Richardson worked with then-Governor Ronald Reagan in overhauling California’s welfare program and capping state spending (Proposition One failed but passed five years later as Proposition 13). He served on the board of the National Rifle Association, but his experience with that group led him to found Gun Owners of America, which now boasts more than two million members. Its purpose is “to preserve, protect, and defend the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, including promoting and developing a greater understanding and awareness regarding the importance of firearms ownership, and conducting education and policy related to such rights.” The GOA uses its vast network of Second Amendment lawyers to challenge anti-gun legislation in the courts so effectively that former Congressman Ron Paul calls GOA “the only no-compromise gun lobby in Washington.”
