Observers have proffered several theories to explain the disconnect between the polls and the final election results. Some commentators have pointed to efforts by the mainstream parties to portray the Sweden Democrats as "far right," "racist," and "neo-Nazi" due to the party's supposedly "nationalist" and "populist" stance on immigration. The stigma of voting for the Sweden Democrats may have given some voters pause. During a televised debate in October 2016, for example, Prime Minister Löfven called the Sweden Democrats "a Nazi party, a racist party." He also claimed that "swastikas are still in use at their meetings." The Sweden Democrats accused Löfven of slander and threatened to report him to the Parliament's Constitutional Committee. Jonas Millard, the party's representative on that committee, said: "When Sweden's prime minister claims that the Sweden Democrats are a Nazi party, it is not just a lie, but also completely lacking in understanding of history and lacking in respect for all those millions of people who have been exposed to real Nazism." Löfven later relented and said that his words had been taken out of context. Since then, however, Löfven has repeatedly accused the Sweden Democrats of having links to Nazism, even though Åkesson, who became party leader in 2005, has applied a zero-tolerance policy toward racism and has expelled members suspected of extremism. A day before the September 9, 2018 election, Löfven again branded the Sweden Democrats as racist: "We are not going to retreat one millimeter in the face of hatred and extremism wherever it shows itself. "Again, and again, and again, they show their Nazi and racist roots, and they are trying to destroy the European Union at a time when we need that co-operation the most." Meanwhile, the Social Democrats invested eight million Swedish krona ($850,000; €770,000) of taxpayer money to encourage voter participation among migrants. That strategy appears to have paid off: in Stockholm's Rinkeby district, where nine out of ten residents are immigrants, the Social Democrats received 77% of the vote while the Sweden Democrats won only 3%. A similar pattern took place in Sweden's five dozen other no-go zones (Swedish police euphemistically refer to them as "vulnerable areas"), although a detailed analysis of the election results by the Swedish-Czech author Katerina Janouch and her colleague Peter Lindmark show that the Sweden Democrats are making gains among migrants, especially among women who are concerned about rampant crime and the imposition of Islamic sharia law. Others believe that election fraud may have benefited the mainstream parties at the expense of the Sweden Democrats. It remains unclear how widespread voter irregularities were, and what if any impact they may have had on the final election results. The Swedish police, however, received more than 2,300 reports of potential crimes linked to this year's election. The complaints include voter intimidation, including threats of violence against property or persons.

Hungary's prime minister claimed Monday that the European Union is seeking to take over the defense of the bloc's external borders from some countries in order to facilitate the entry of migrants.Viktor Orban, a staunch opponent of immigration, said during the inaugural meeting of parliament's fall session that EU bureaucrats "don't want to stop immigration, they want to manage it." With European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker proposing last week the addition of 10,000 border guards by 2020 to Frontex, the EU's border and coast guard agency, Orban said it was right for the EU to "finally turn its view toward border protection." "But it's not right if they want to take the right of border protection away from us and if Brussels wants to direct the defense of Hungary's borders," Orban said. "Our borders are protected not only by professionals but by patriots." Orban quoted a statement made by German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Sept. 12 in which she said that EU members would have to cede some of their national rights to Frontex. North Korea's Kim Jong Un agreed to make a historic visit to Seoul soon and close a missile testing site in front of international inspectors at a summit with the South's President Moon Jae-in in Pyongyang Wednesday.Progress on the key issue of the North's nuclear arsenal was limited, but the two signed a document to strengthen ties between the two halves of the divided peninsula. Building on a growing rapprochement, they agreed to create a facility to hold family reunions at any time, work towards joining up road and rail links, and mount a combined bid for the 2032 Olympics. The agreement "carries the people's fresh hope and the people's strong, flaming desire for reunification", Kim said. His trip to Seoul would be the first by a Northern leader since the end of the 1950-53 Korean War, when hostilities ceased with an armistice rather than a peace treaty, leaving them technically in a state of war. Moon added that the visit could happen this year and would be a "monumental milestone in inter-Korean relations". In their agreement, the North also agreed to "permanently close" a missile engine testing site and launch facility in Tongchang-ri "in the presence of experts from relevant nations". Trump welcomed Wednesday's declaration, tweeting that Kim had "agreed to allow Nuclear inspections, subject to final negotiations" and adding: "Very exciting!" Moon also said the North could close its Yongbyon nuclear plant if Washington takes "corresponding measures"

In addition to demonstrating an oblivious lack of understanding about the migrant crisis, the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize winner’s statements shocked many of his admirers, especially considering his own status as a refugee residing in India for more than 50 years. To his critics they served as further testimony to a hidden history largely unknown to his naive followers and a summation of his actual nationalist views —after all despite his refugee status, his entire political history has been based around returning to power in Tibet. In the West, he has been given the persona of a ‘simple Buddhist monk’ by the political establishment and Hollywood, cloaking his own past as a theocratic despot who speaks for a dominant class within Tibet that has collaborated with the interests of imperialism against China for more than fifty years. The political author and critic Michael Parenti has written at length about the oppressive social system that existed in Tibet prior to the Chinese liberation in his 2003 essay Friendly Feudalism: The Tibet Myth. The Dalai (“ocean” in Mongolian) Lamas are believed to be reincarnations of the Buddha of Compassion, or manifestations in a lineage of the Bodhisattva (“enlightenment being”). It was the Mongol invasion of Tibet in the 13th century during the Yuan dynasty where Tibetan Buddhism first spread throughout Asia and for the next six centuries was the state religion of both the Ming and Qing dynasties. Following the disintegration of China’s last imperial dynasty, from 1912-1933 Tibet was an absolute monarchy under his predecessor the 13th Dalai Lama. During his brief tenure as the head of state until he was a mere 24 years old, the 14th Dalai Lama was not a democratically-elected leader but selected by a committee of elite lamas (priests of Tibetan Buddhism) following an extensive search guided by their religious beliefs just like those which preceded him. Under his brief but ultra-wealthy reign, Tibet was a remotely isolated and poor country for the vast majority of its population which mostly consisted of illiterate slaves and serfs who were treated like rental cars by overlords, resembling a Buddhist version of the Gulf State kingdoms more than any peaceful paradise. While presiding over a brutal caste system, the Dalai Lama lived in a 1000-room estate with a personal army at his disposal to hunt down deserters. Parenti writes: “The theocracy’s religious teachings buttressed its class order. The poor and afflicted were taught that they had brought their troubles upon themselves because of their wicked ways in previous lives. Hence they had to accept the misery of their present existence as a karmic atonement and in anticipation that their lot would improve in their next lifetime. The rich and powerful treated their good fortune as a reward for, and tangible evidence of, virtue in past and present lives. The Tibetan serfs were something more than superstitious victims, blind to their own oppression. As we have seen, some ran away; others openly resisted, sometimes suffering dire consequences. In feudal Tibet, torture and mutilation — including eye gouging, the pulling out of tongues, hamstringing, and amputation — were favored punishments inflicted upon thieves, and runaway or resistant serfs.” During the Cold War, interest in Tibetan Buddhism worldwide grew dramatically and so did a mainstream version of it in the West. This was supplied by an idealized and exoticized utopian portrayal of the Himalayas and the country akin to the imaginary ‘Shangri-La’ from the novel Lost Horizon, while Western media agencies promoted the ‘Free Tibet’ cause promoted by movie stars and popular musicians. Buddhism’s appealing teachings have led to the perception by many that it is exempt from the ugly history attributed to other major religions, but as we can see with modern examples such as the persecution of the Rohingya in Myanmar this is...

Former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, writing in the September 11 issue of American Thinker, detailed some alarming voter registration statistics, most involving Texas. Blackwell’s article, entitled “Houston, We Have a Problem,” noted: According to Votistics, data provided by the Texas secretary of state indicate that 104,800 people appear to be registered more than once. That is, the list contains thousands of name/date birth pairs. Of course, some cases could reflect unusual coincidences. But most are the same person. Additionally, according to Blackwell, Votistics found that 2,159 of these "voting pairs" appeared to have cast ballots in the same election. While Texas may not be as bad as Chicago, the old admonition to “Vote early — and often” frequently attributed to former Chicago Mayor William Hale Thompson may be alive and well in Texas. Blackwell continued, “Moreover, 45,854 registrants appeared to have voted more than once in at least one general election according to the records provided by the Texas State Board of Elections.... Texas also has a problem of the dead, or presumed dead, voting. For instance, Votistics discovered that more than 3,000 of those who cast ballots apparently were older than the world's oldest known person.” If dead people can vote in Chicago, why not in Texas? Blackwell also noted, “The American Civil Rights Union (ACRU) has been reviewing the role of inaccurate registration lists across the country. In Texas, 39 counties have more people registered than the number eligible to vote.” More at: https://www.thenewamerican.com/culture/history/item/30074-texas-has-a-voter-registration-problems-will-the-federal-government-make-it-worse

Pampers, one of the nation’s top-selling diaper brands, has quietly decided to drop Sesame Street characters from its design in order to make the diapers more “inclusive,” the New York Post reports. The move was not made public, but Pampers is reportedly embarking on a “gender equality” effort that apparently requires the company to refrain from using beloved children’s characters Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Cookie Monster, and Elmo on its diapers amid concerns that the characters are male. The new diapers have a far more generic look and feature innocuous designs like airplanes and cameras. When parents reached out to Proctor & Gamble (P&G), Pampers’ parent company, to inquire about the removal of Sesame Street characters from the diapers, service representatives admitted that the change was made because of gender concerns. “The Pampers rep said … parents who have daughters thought that the ‘Sesame Street’ characters are too masculine,” customer Susie Wong-Benjamin told the Post. Beatrice Chow, a Sesame Street spokesperson, appears to have not only substantiated the claim, but revealed that Sesame Street is a willing participant in the changes to the design. Chow sent the Post a year-old press release entitled “P&G and Sesame Street partner to promote gender equality,” which highlighted the female character Chamki, “a vibrant, 5-year-old Muppet” who is featured in the Indian version of “Sesame Street.” “We look forward to deepening our partnership with P&G on all fronts in the future,” Chow told the Post. According to the Post, there does not appear to be public record of complaints from parents about gender representation in the diapers’ design. When asked directly whether parents complained about a lack of female representation on the old design, a Pampers spokeswoman reportedly tried to dodge the question before responding “No” and providing a more generic response.

A federal judge will not force Georgia to use paper ballots for the November election, citing the potential for last-minute confusion, but expressed concern that the state’s electronic machines could be vulnerable to hacking. U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg said in a ruling late on Monday that while it is important for citizens to know their ballots are properly counted, voters also must rely on a smooth process, especially in a fast-approaching election race. “Ultimately, any chaos or problems that arise in connection with a sudden rollout of a paper ballot system with accompanying scanning equipment may swamp the polls with work and voters – and result in voter frustration and disaffection from the voting process,” Totenberg said in a 46-page decision. Georgia is one of five states that use touchscreen machines with no paper record. Voting rights groups and individual voters sued Georgia officials in 2017, alleging that the electronic machines are highly vulnerable to hacking and cannot be audited or verified. The judge’s decision to reject their request to require paper ballots in November does not affect the underlying lawsuit, which will continue. An attorney for the plaintiffs, David Cross, said that while they were disappointed the judge had not imposed paper ballots for November, her decision was nevertheless a victory because she agreed the current election system is “woefully inadequate and insecure.”

A US District Court dismissed a lawsuit challenging Texas’ Voter ID law. The dismissal stems from the Fifth Circuit’s decision in April that Senate Bill 5 was an “effective remedy” to the 2011 law which was challenged by the Obama administration. “I’m proud of the successful fight my office waged to defend Texas’ voter ID law,” said Paxton in a statement. “With this major legal victory, voter ID requirements remain in place going forward to prevent fraud and ensure that election results accurately reflect the will of Texas voters.” More at: https://www.infowars.com/texas-wins-voter-id-lawsuit/

Multiple Swedish officials contest whether a regional report detailing the country’s poor border controls was held before the recent elections, according to Sweden’s Kvällsposten. The release of the Schengen Report would have been politically “explosive,” given its content, allege police sources. “The outcome of the Schengen inspector's visit is politically explosive,” said one source. "I was in a meeting when Liselotte Ström said the report was politically sensitive and that it should therefore be held until the election was completed.” More at: https://europe.infowars.com/swedens-border-report-reportedly-held-before-election/

An Afghan migrant who raped an 18-year-old mentally disabled girl in the Netherlands was deliberately given a lighter sentence by a judge in order to save him from being deported. 38-year-old Zaman S. raped the girl in 2016 after she entered a store at which he was an employee. De Telegraaf reports that the Amsterdam District Court gave the perpetrator “a milder sentence to prevent him from losing his residence permit,” treating the asylum seeker “more leniently to prevent expulsion.” The girl’s father angrily denounced the verdict, suggesting that barbaric views on rape were being imported along with migrants. “Maybe this is normal in his country, but not here,” he said. “Whether or not to lose a residence permit in such a serious crime as rape should not be a consideration,” said the victim’s lawyer. EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier has clearly signalled his intention to back Spain in any future sovereignty dispute with the UK over the island of Gibraltar following his meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez in Madrid. And media reports in Spain have suggested Britain's withdrawal agreement with the EU will contain a specific protocol relating to Rock which could end its status as offshore tax haven. Mr Barnier, who is gearing up for tomorrow’s EU summit in Salzburg which will be attended by leaders from across the bloc, met with Mr Sanchez at his official residence, the Moncloa Palace in Madrid yesterday. After the meeting Mr Barnier tweeted about his “cordial” meeting with Mr Sanchez. The DOJ settlement with Palmetto Beach Hospitality LLC is the fourth settlement by Sessions’ Protecting U.S. Workers Initiative where companies across the United States have been fined and penalized for importing foreign workers when there were qualified, ready to work Americans for the job. In the latest case of anti-American discrimination investigated by the Justice Department, Palmetto illegally ignored the applications of American workers who had applied for housekeeping positions. Instead, Palmetto imported foreign workers to take the housekeeping jobs through the H-2B visa program, which allows businesses to import foreigners to take blue-collar jobs. Palmetto, according to the investigation, claimed that it could not find Americans to do the jobs, even though Americans had applied for the available positions. Subsequently, the Department of Labor allowed Palmetto to import H-2B foreign workers. Now, the DOJ is requiring Palmetto to pay $42,000 in civil penalties, as well as setting aside $35,000 in lost wages for the American workers who were passed over in favor of imported foreign workers. A commissioner in Wayne County, Michigan, is pushing a bill that would outlaw ammunition purchases from anyone other than police. The commissioner, Reggie Davis (D), also wants to tax the bullets that police would sell. Fox 2 quoted Davis saying, “I’m tired of turning on the news every day and watching you report stories over and over again, killing each other. It’s got to stop somewhere.” His solution is to require gun owners to buy their bullets from police and to pass a “mental health check” before being allowed to complete the purchase. Moreover, he wants to tax the bullets for funds to fight gun violence via education. More at: https://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/09/18/michigan-ban-bullet-sales-anyone-police/

A taxpayer-funded study launched by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is on course to conclude that “affirming” young children with gender dysphoria by providing dangerous puberty blockers and ultimately sterilizing them is both safe and necessary for them to be happy. The study is “very much under wraps and it’s coming into its fifth and final year affirming and using hormones in children starting at age five up through age eleven, and following them for five years,” said Dr. Quentin Van Meter, an Atlanta pediatric endocrinologist who trained at Johns Hopkins University when “transsexualism” was first studied. The study is titled “The Impact of Early Medical Treatment in Transgender Youth.” Van Meter explained the study “is designed specifically to show how well they’re doing”: There’s no control group – which is a must if you’re going to be following ethical research guidelines – and the researchers excuse themselves from having one by saying, “What are we supposed to do, let these kids kill themselves with no therapy?” And the answer is the control group should be kids in intensive counseling, because the majority of them have undercurrent problems. Van Meter maintained those claiming to be transgender have significant underlying mental health issues that activists are desperately trying to bury. The woman accusing Democratic National Committee deputy chair and Minnesota attorney general candidate Keith Ellison said she has been "smeared" by the Democratic party. Karen Monahan, Ellison’s ex-girlfriend, was asked on Twitter how Democrats have treated her versus Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford. She said she has faced threats and isolation from members of her own party, despite her evidence against Ellison. "I've been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party. I provided medical records from 2017, stating on two different Dr. Visits, I told them about the abuse and who did it," she wrote on Twitter. "My therapist released records stating I have been dealing and healing from the abuse." "Four people, including my supervisor at the time, stated that I came to them after and shared the exact story I shared publicly, I shared multiple text between me and Keith, where I discuss the abuse with him and much more," she added. "I knew I wouldn't be believed." "I didn't break my silence for validation or any outcome," she concluded. "I did it for my own internal freedom and to stand w/ other survivors. I have nothing to prove to anyone, I simply shared my story." Despite the accusations, Ellison won the Democratic primary for Minnesota attorney general. The National Science Foundation is spending over $1 million to train two-dozen "social justice" math teachers in Philadelphia. The Drexel University project will promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) high school curriculums that are "steeped in the context of social justice." The project, which began this summer, is recruiting 24 Drexel students earning a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, which they will train to teach in school districts in Philadelphia. "The project will use recent scientific, mathematical, and educational knowledge to prepare and support the twenty-four pre-service teacher candidates with an emphasis on understanding the culture and life experiences of students in high-need schools," according to the grant for the study. The stated goal of the study is to "promote social justice teaching." "The project intends to promote social justice teaching, which emphasizes connecting science, mathematics, and engineering instruction to students' personal experiences and culture," the grant explains. "This connection can leverage the funds of knowledge that each student brings to learning." The project has received $1,009,762 from taxpayers so far. Research will continue through May 2023. The study also involves a mentorship program for the teaching candidates and learning mindfulness meditation so the teachers can develop "emotional intelligence." New information is surfacing about a Japanese submarine military exercise in the South China Sea. The Maritime Self-Defense Force (MSDF) said in a rare statement on Monday that one submarine and three other vessels performed aggressive maneuvers to deter China's militarization of the region. "Japan has been performing submarine exercises in the South China Sea since 15 years ago. We did so last year and the year before that," Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on a TV program on Monday. "The purpose of the Self-Defense Force drills is to improve their skill. It is not intended for specific countries." According to the Nikkei Asian Review, this is the first public announcement that the MSDF revealed military exercises by a submarine in the region. Last Thursday, the Hiroshima-based submarine Kuroshio joined helicopter carrier Kaga and two other missile destroyers for maneuvers. During the exercise, destroyers worked with helicopters to hunt for the submarine using sonars, while the Kuroshio pursued the carrier as it lurked beneath the waters. What is notable, however, is that the exercises took place within China's self-declared maritime claim known as the Nine-Dash Line, which includes most of the South China Sea. “It’s part of a strategic message that Japan would like to send to China and the countries in the region,” said Narushige Michishita, a professor specializing in international security at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo. “It’s a demonstration of Japan’s will to maintain a balance of power.” Michishita called it “very significant” that Tokyo would even send anti-submarine warfare capability because China regularly operates nuclear-powered submarines in the area. After the exercise, the Japanese sub made a port call to Cam Ranh Bay Monday to visit their Vietnamese friends. The move was seen as a key indication as Vietnam also opposes China's militarization in the nearby waters. UPDATE: 9/18/18 In another mind boggling twist, it was revealed after the publication of the following article that the recused Judge is in fact the Hon. Robin S. Rosenbaum, who has served on the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals since 2014, and is apparently a member of the “Quill and Dagger” collegiate secret society. The DNC Fraud Lawsuit has been no stranger to unusual and atypical occurrences. The latest unprecedented development continues this trend, potentially raising troubling questions as to the integrity of the Federal appellate process. Disobedient Media has consistently covered the DNC Fraud lawsuit and its ongoing appeal as it has been dogged by outlandish events including voice-modulated phone calls, threats, and inexplicable deaths. Many such events have gone unnoticed and unreported by the legacy media. Though the suit was initially dismissed on jurisdictional grounds, the dismissal is in the process of an appeal in the Federal 11th Circuit appellate court. A hearing in the matter had been set for September 25th. However, attorneys for the plaintiffs in the case recently announced that the hearing had been canceled, with no date for a new hearing at the time of writing. The cancellation of the September hearing became more alarming in the wake of news that it stemmed from the recusal of one of three Judges. A periscope statement made by Elizabeth Lee Beck, one of the attorneys for the plaintiffs in the case, discussed the bizarre events earlier today, stating in part: "Oral argument was set for September 25 in the DNC Fraud Lawsuit appeal, and it was assigned to that date for months. Less than two weeks before that hearing was supposed to happen, one of our three Judges recused herself. What that means is, for reasons that are unknown to us, decided that she is not fit to hear this appeal, it could be for any reason. Generally, it is for conflict of interest, but we don't know what the reason is. In every recusal that has happened in my Federal cases, the identity of the Judges recusing him or herself was disclosed to the public. In the DNC Fraud Lawsuit appeal, when the recusal came down, the identity of this third Judge was hidden. Now the other two Judges are Judges Hall and Carnes. All the circuit Judges in the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals are listed on their website. ... So I called the clerk's office to just find out the identity of the third judge... the clerk told me that she is not allowed to tell me this information... she concluded the call by saying she is actually waiting on the third Judge to give her permission to call me back, and let me know what her identity is. So it is up to this Judge who recused herself, to decide whether or not she is going to disclose her identity."

A Bronx teacher convicted for performing oral sex on a 14-year-old student will not receive any jail time, according to a Thursday report. “Dori Myers, 30, last month pleaded guilty to criminal sex act for the Nov. 2016 incident at her former workplace, New School for Leadership and the Arts in Kingsbridge, where she taught social studies,” the report said. She received ten years of probation and was deemed to be a “Level One” sex offender. According to the report, prosecutors asked Judge Michael Obus to hand down a minimum sentence of two years in prison. But as part of plea agreement, Myers was allowed to keep her teaching certificate, meaning that she could end up back in the classroom. “March For Our Lives” is the national demonstration tour organized by David Hogg and his brigade of gun-grabbing teenagers with support of ultra-leftist non-profit Everytown. Apparently, the violent leftist who tried to kill GOP congressional candidate Rudy Peters was a supporter of Hogg’s movement. Fazeli marked himself as “attending” the March For Our Lives rally in Oakland on March 24. His Facebook message made an appeal to the youth to guide America, hoping they “know a better way.” Big League Politics reached out to Hogg Thursday morning to ask him if he disavowed Fazeli’s actions and violence against GOP politicians. We also asked him if he thought that America should ban or regulate knives in the wake of the attempted stabbing. Hogg declined to comment. “This group offers a safe space for White students to explore their experiences, questions, reactions, and feelings,” according to the report. “Members will support and share feedback with each other as they learn more about themselves and how they can fit into a diverse world.” Social justice morons are naturally perplexed by UMD’s decision to create such a group. “I am ashamed over the execution of white awake nor do I fully understand its clause. ‘How they can fit into a diverse world’? Why do they need to attend therapy sessions on how to be a decent human being in society? Why do they need to have these sessions to learn how to coexist?” wrote UMD student Alysa Conway on Twitter. You pushed them away. And that’s exactly how you got a segregated, white’s only club.

A new law was signed on Friday by Gov. Jerry Brown that ensures access to hormone treatment, counseling, and surgery for children who identify as transgender. Assembly Bill 2119 was signed into law Friday, which clarifies that foster youth can have these forms of treatment paid for by the state’s health insurance program for lower income individuals as well as children in the foster care system, Medi-Cal. Access to hormone and surgical treatments if deemed medically necessary is already available to anyone who has Medi-Cal coverage, but this law defines “gender affirming” health and mental health care as a right for foster youth as well as allowing them involvement in developing their case plans. “The right of minors and nonminors in foster care to health care and mental health care … includes covered gender affirming health care and gender affirming mental health care,” reads AB 2119. Socially conservative California Family Foundation members say that such treatment is dangerous for foster youth. Endocrinologist for Sutter Health, Michael Laidlaw, testified against the bill in June. “A licensed professional or other individual should not subject the foster child to any treatment, intervention or conduct that seeks to change the foster child’s identity,” Laidlaw stated earlier this year.

The PAC #MeTooOhio is hammering incumbent Democratic senator Sherrod Brown for the assault accusations leveled against him by his ex-wife in court documents. Ohio lieutenant governor Mary Taylor has called for Sherrod Brown to resign from the Senate. “Now, Senator Sherrod Brown is facing his own #MeToo moment from his past. These court records show sworn evidence that Brown’s ex-wife accused him of abusing her. She said Brown assaulted her. A judge had to issue a restraining order,” the PAC’s ad states. Brown is running to keep his seat in November against insurgent Republican Jim Renacci. More at: https://bigleaguepolitics.com/sherrod-brown-faces-heat-for-assault-allegations-from-ex-wife/

A New Jersey Senator who has been sharply critical of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh wrote a 1992 column in which he bragged about groping a high school friend. “As we fumbled upon the bed, I remember debating my next ‘move’ as if it were a chess game,” said Sen. Cory “Spartacus” Booker in the column. “With the ‘Top Gun’ slogan ringing in my head, I slowly reached for her breast. After having my hand pushed away once, I reached my ‘mark.’” Booker admittedly ignored his female friend’s rejection before moving forward in his column called “So Much for Stealing Second.” Apparently “no” means “yes” in Booker’s mind.
