With residents fed up by the homelessness crisis, city leaders and their allies coordinate a PR campaign to convince them that everything is fine... In Seattle, people are losing patience with city leadership over the homelessness crisis, but the frustration is running in both directions: the city’s political, cultural, and academic elites are conducting their own revolt—against the people. Since the release of Eric Johnson’s documentary Seattle Is Dying, which depicts an epidemic of street homelessness, addiction, crime, and disorder, city elites have launched a coordinated information campaign targeted at voters frustrated with the city’s response to homelessness. Earlier this month, leaked documentsrevealed that a group of prominent nonprofits—the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Campion Advocacy Fund, the Raikes Foundation, and the Ballmer Group—hired a PR firm, Pyramid Communications, to conduct polling, create messaging, and disseminate the resulting content through a network of silent partners in academia, the press, government, and the nonprofit sector. The campaign, #SeattleForAll, is a case study in what writer James Lindsay calls “idea laundering”—creating misinformation and legitimizing it as objective truth through repetition in sympathetic media. The key messages of the campaign include a number of misleading claims, including: “Seattle is making progress to end homelessness,” “1 in 4 people experiencing homelessness in our community struggle with drug or alcohol abuse,” and “ we are not spending enough to address homelessness.” All three contentions fail to meet basic scrutiny:

The leader of Turkey's main opposition party was attacked at a soldier's funeral in Ankara before security guards led him away, in the latest fallout from contested local elections three weeks ago.Kemal Kilicdaroglu, head of the secularist Republican People's Party (CHP) that pulled off victories in the March 31 vote, had attended a funeral for one of four Turkish soldiers killed on Friday in clashes with the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, whose AK Party wants the election results annulled in Istanbul, had repeatedly warned during last month's campaign that PKK members were among the CHP's list of candidates. The PKK clashes in the country's southeast on Friday prompted several pro-government newspapers to tie the soldiers' deaths to the CHP. "PKK out" was among the slogans shouted at Kilicdaroglu on Sunday, according to video footage of the incident. Several TV broadcasters showed video in which Kilicdaroglu was hit on the head at least twice as a clutch of security guards and a police officer attempted to keep dozens of fist-pumping men away, some of whom were shouting "shame on you" and "God damn you." Kilicdaroglu edged through the crowd to a nearby house, outside of which a crowd chanted "PKK out," according to broadcaster NTV. More than an hour later he was driven away in an armoured vehicle by police officers. "They don't want me to go to our martyrs' funerals," Kilicdaroglu, who had been attacked after a funeral in 2016, told supporters outside CHP headquarters. "They think I will step back if they attack me. I will not even take one step back." Ankara's chief prosecutor, Yuksel Kocaman, said six attackers were identified and investigators are looking into whether the incident is terrorism related, according to state-run news agency Anadolu. "The incident is under control... Investigations started," said Suleyman Soylu, Turkey's interior minister. Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gul, also of the ruling AK Party, said: "We will not allow any kind of violence to cast a shadow on democratic politics."

Sri Lanka‘s prime minister has demanded an investigation into apparent intelligence failures before the Easter bombings that killed more than 200 people. Ranil Wickremsinghe acknowledged that his government had received prior information of the attack, but that ministers were not told. There had not been an adequate response, he said, and an inquiry was necessary to find out how the information was used. He also said the government needed to look at the international ties of a local militant group. The Agence France Presse news agency reported that it had seen documents showing that police issued an intelligence alert to top officers 10 days ago, warning that suicide bombers planned to hit “prominent churches”. Chiefs cited a foreign intelligence service as reporting that a little-known Islamist group was planning attacks. A Sri Lanka police spokesman said he was not aware of the intelligence report. A group of militants crossed the border from neighboring Iran earlier this week and carried out a deadly attack against Pakistan armed forces in southwestern Baluchistan province, killing 14, the Foreign Ministry said Saturday. The ministry said in a letter to the Iranian government that the assailants were from a newly formed Baluch separatist group, Raji Aajoi Sangar, and that they were based in Iran's adjacent Baluchistan province. It urged Iran to act against the attackers who had fled back across the border. Groups operating within Pakistan's and Iran's Baluchistan provinces, which share a long border, seek independence from both countries. The ministry said the "killing of 14 innocent Pakistanis by terrorist groups based in Iran is a very serious incident that Pakistan protests strongly." The announcement came a day before Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to Iran. Despite lodging a protest with Tehran over the attack, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi told reporters that the planned two-day visit, beginning Sunday, was intact and that Khan will take up the matter of Thursday's killings with Iranian authorities. Qureshi said he spoke to his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Javad Zarif, on Saturday to share initial findings of a Pakistani probe into the killing of security personnel with him. He said he demanded action against those responsible. He said Pakistan had already shared actionable intelligence with Tehran about the hideouts and training facilities of those Baluch separatists who carried out the attack and that an Iranian response was still awaited. Qureshi said Pakistan will deploy more troops at the border and enhance air surveillance, which he said would benefit both sides. Though militants based along the border region often target Iranian guards, it is the first time in recent years that Pakistan publicly accused Iran of "inaction" against Baluch groups responsible for the killing of Pakistani security forces.

Even if people are used to fertilize crops the crops should have to be fed to animals, you need to go through enough steps in the food chain so that it isn't harmful to people. It's like using human waste to fertilize crops.

Charlton Heston’s character in the iconic 1973 movie “Soylent Green” famously didn’t take well to the news that the ubiquitous green food reflected in the film’s title was composed of human beings. Now, Washington is poised to be the first American state to test public reaction to turning human beings into compost that could provide nutrients for various food products. With bipartisan majorities, the state Senate and House of Representatives on Friday approve bill 5001, titled “concerning human remains,” the Seattle Times reported. The law would take effect May 1 if it is signed by Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee, a candidate for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. Wes McMahan, a retired cardiovascular intensive-care nurse, testified in favor of the bill, saying he is “very much in favor of the composting of human bodies.” “When I’m done with this body that served me very well for the past 64 years, do I want to poison it with formaldehyde and other embalming chemicals? No,” McMahan said, according to the Times. “Burned? Not my first choice. But what about all the bacteria I’ve worked with so long in this body — do I want to give them a chance to do what they do naturally? I believe in doing things as naturally as possible.” The Times said Katrina Spade of Seattle, long has had a vision for an urban, soil-based, ecologically friendly death-care option. The founder and CEO of Recompose, she wants her company to be the first “natural organic reduction” funeral home in the U.S.

Al-Jazeera journalist Saif Khalid claims that reporting the name of one of the alleged suicide bombers in Sri Lanka is “Islamophobic”. Over 200 people have died after explosions rocked three luxury hotels in the nation’s largest city, Colombo, and three packed Catholic churches. Two additional attacks took place at other sites. One of the alleged suicide bombers behind the attack on the Shangri La hotel has been identified as Islamic extremist Zahran Hashim. However, Al-Jazeera journalist Saif Khalid suggested that even reporting Hashim’s name was “Islamophobic.” Qatar state media is already calling accurate reporting on the #Srilanka attack "Islamophobia". In case it was unclear, "Islamophobia" is now simply a term used to shut down and shame any criticism of Islamic Supremacy. pic.twitter.com/wWVJahaeSU — Far Left Watch (@FarLeftWatch) April 21, 2019 “Indian media’s blatant Islamophobia at display,” tweeted Khalid. Al-Jazeera is owned by the the government of Qatar and routinely promotes pro-Islamist perspectives, including the Muslim Brotherhood. Hashim’s extremist lectures were also freely available on YouTube, leading Imam Mohamad Tawhidi to criticize the Google-owned video platform, which recently severely restricted Tommy Robinson’s presence.

Once again: We are entering the season of occult sacrifice by fire: Here’s your annual reminder to be wary of false flag events and occult rituals from mid-April to May 1st. Via: Reuters: Over 200 people were killed and at least 450 injured in bomb blasts that ripped through churches and luxury hotels in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, the first major attack on the Indian Ocean island since the end of a civil war 10 years ago. Seven people were arrested and three police officers were killed during a security forces raid on a house in the Sri Lankan capital several hours after the rash of attacks, some of which officials said were suicide bombs. The government declared a curfew in Colombo and blocked access to social media and messaging sites, including Facebook and WhatsApp. It was unclear when the curfew would be lifted. “Altogether, we have information of 207 dead from all hospitals. According to the information as of now we have 450 injured people admitted to hospitals,” police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera told reporters. https://www.cryptogon.com/?p=54787

Nope, I had Hydroxy systems installed on a few trucks for testing in our fleet. and there really is not much gain over energy cost to produce it. And then it requires special attention and maintenance. They did run much cooler though. But there is a very real drawback too, the combustion creates acidic compounds that eat metal and foul the oil faster.

Consumer Reports (CR) is now warning the public about a serious issue, where 11 brands of bottled water, out of 130 had detectable levels of highly toxic, arsenic, and six of those brands had levels above 3 parts per billion (ppb) — the maximum level allowed by CR. "Of those, six had levels of 3 ppb or higher," according to CR officials. "These brands are Starkey owned by Whole Foods, Peñafiel owned by Keurig Dr. Pepper, Crystal Geyser Alpine Spring Water, Volvic owned by Danone, and two regional brands, Crystal Creamery, and EartH₂O." Research from the World Health Organization (WHO) has shown long-term exposure to arsenic in drinking water can cause cancer and skin lesions. It has also been linked to cardiovascular disease and diabetes. In children, arsenic can cause negative impacts on cognitive development and increased deaths. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) limits arsenic in bottled water to 10 ppb. But CR is now demanding the federal government revise the level to 3ppb. "It makes no sense that consumers can purchase bottled water that is less safe than tap water," says James Dickerson, Ph.D., chief scientific officer at CR. "If anything, bottled water—a product for which people pay a premium, often because they assume it’s safer—should be regulated at least as strictly as tap water." Keurig Dr Pepper spoke with CR last week and said its Peñafiel production facility in Mexico had been taken offline for several weeks while it would improve its filtration system to lower arsenic level. The company said it conducted new testing after questions from CR found levels above the federal limit, at an average of 17 ppb.

Last week Mike Pompeo spoke at Texas A&M University, itself long known for being a favored recruiting ground of the CIA, considering too that one of the university's last presidents, Robert Gates, was CIA chief and later served as Bush and Obama's Secretary of Defense. During the Q&A session, Pompeo boasted that in the CIA both the training and culture are geared toward the following: "We lied, we cheated, we stole." Interestingly, a Christian religious news broadcaster was the only media that seemed to pick up on Pompeo's words last week, and described it as follows: "that's not the resume of the Secretary of State... that's the resume of Satan." "I was the CIA Director; we lied, we cheated we stole. We had entire training courses." -@SecPompeo pic.twitter.com/tehirq1cyX — Jonathan Lalonde (@JonathanLalon12) April 19, 2019 The former CIA chief and now Secretary of State said the following: “What’s the cadet motto at West Point? You will not lie, cheat, or steal, or tolerate those who do. I was the CIA director. We lied, we cheated, we stole. It’s — it was like — we had entire training courses. It reminds you of the glory of the American experiment.” — Texas A&M University (April 15, 2019)

George Monbiot and the climate change heart of darkness George Monbiot appeared recently on Frankie Boyle's far-left political chat show, "New World Order." A columnist and environmental activist, Monbiot explained how we have to save the planet. And boy, does Monbiot have some ideas. The easy things we need to change, Monbiot said, are to end air travel flying and cease consumption of meat. If that doesn't sound easy to you, then you're not alone. Indeed, those ideas are so destructive of modern life, economics, and the pursuit of happiness, that they could justifiably be regarded as insane. But Monbiot was just getting started. Next up, he took us down the intellectual river, into the heart of activist darkness. "We have to overthrow this system which is eating the planet: perpetual growth," Monbiot declared. And the writer pulled no punches. Annual economic growth targets of 3% represent "madness," he said. The columnist reached his crescendo. "We can't do it by just pitting around at the margins of the problem; we've got to go straight to the heart of capitalism and overthrow it." The morons in Boyle's audience lapped this up. In a way, I'm glad Monbiot said what he did. With this interview, Boyle, a terrorist sympathizer and champagne socialist, unwittingly gave us a rare window into the malicious faux-humanitarianism that motivates many climate change ideologues. I don't exaggerate when I say it's malicious. The free market system has, since the 1980s, lifted billions of people out of poverty worldwide, exceeding all of the achievements of all the nonprofits in history. Monbiot and his comrades, in seeking to overthrow the modern way of life, are proud servants of moral darkness. They seek to impose socialism, communism, or some other defective ideology precisely because these will limit economic growth and human flourishing.
