I remember this. The only blacks who gave a damn were on tv. It was a nonissue, probably concocted to boost Hank Jr's concert and album sales.

Sir, WMD are not bogus! Khan gave WMD to Saddam, who gave them to Assad, who gave them to Kim. Please follow the leader.

I doubt it, because the South have been consistently skeptical of the world's claims, citing they haven't discovered any fallout during recent tests, but I guess Generalissimo Trump really wants to "find out" what the North are hiding. Perhaps China's hiding our jobs in North Korea, and we're just watching our economy implode.

Interestingly, the Japanese are curious how far down the rabbit hole goes: https://www.japantimes.co.jp/life/2001/07/24/travel/religious-sites-relics-indicate-christ-beat-buddha-to-japan-2/ Its hard to find anything in English, but its proven the Syrian Christians reached as Far East as Tang China's capitol. The first, top Jesuit in Japan covered up any suggestions they'd been beaten to the East. Its difficult to refute the claims by some Asian scholars the Nestorians and Buddhists were locked in a war of necromancy for the Emperor's favor; the Buddhists obviously won the war. Legend has it, you could favor a blonde, blue eyed courtesan in ancient Sheung Wan. No, the "West" didn't discover the world; before Rome, Spain, and Portugal invented the hemispheres, mankind had been freely trading and exploring Earth.

Everyone has bias; do Christian historiographers lie? I think you're equivocating, because you know what's coming. I've been there too.

I liked his shows for his stories, accent, and the shit he gives other conservatives. None of the Neocons like him, yet he likes Neocons? I think its because he's the purest Trotskyist in radio, which means they must break a sweat performing mental gymnastics to avoid him. Being a Neocon is soooo awkward.

Miami Beach wants to fire employees for not going to work two days after Hurricane Irma Two days after Hurricane Irma swept over South Florida, triggering the largest evacuation effort in Florida’s history and leaving behind a morass of debris in the streets and widespread power outages, Miami Beach City Hall expected some of its employees to come to work. When some of those government workers couldn’t make it back to the island on time, the city’s response was simple: Threaten to fire them. About 100 employees have received letters outlining the city’s intent to fire them after they didn’t report to work Sept. 12, less than 48 hours after Irma’s outer bands hit the Beach. The letters are rattling the city’s rank and file employees and even supervisors who were under the impression employees simply needed to stay in touch with their bosses as city operations returned to normal. The victors do write the history books but sometimes we get to hear the losers side as well, and sometimes the victors were right, and even biased history can give us some truth to be gleaned. In any case it is clear that sometimes things go better and sometimes things go worse, that is the way of everything in the universe.

Are we talking about the same things when we say up and down, as when saying right and wrong? Nobody's disputing the victors write history, then?

It does have ups and downs, right and wrong exist as objective standards, but those who recorded history did not necessarily view or record it accurately.

Pakistan refuses to be a "scapegoat" for Afghanistan's bloodshed or to fight wars for others, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi told the United Nations on Thursday. Addressing the UN General Assembly, Abbasi did not explicitly criticize US President Donald Trump's new strategy on Afghanistan but made clear his displeasure with the renewed onus on Pakistan. "Having suffered and sacrificed so much due to our role in the global counter terrorism campaign, it is especially galling for Pakistan to be blamed for the military or political stalemate in Afghanistan," Abbasi said. "We are not prepared to be anyone's scapegoat," he said. "What Pakistan is not prepared to do is to fight the Afghan war on Pakistan's soil. Nor can we endorse any failed strategy that will prolong and intensify the suffering of the people of Afghanistan and Pakistan and other regional countries," he said. Abbasi said that 27,000 Pakistanis have been killed by extremists since the launch of the US war on terror after the September 11, 2001 attacks. He called for a priority on eliminating extremists, including from the Islamic State group and Al-Qaeda, in Afghanistan but ultimately a political solution with the Taliban. https://www.yahoo.com/news/pakistan-tells-un-wont-scapegoat-afghan-war-014406807.html

As Trump campaigns for Strange in Alabama, he expresses some doubtsPresident Trump campaigned on Friday night for Alabama Senate candidate Luther Strange, in a race that has pitted him against his most loyal supporters and that holds the potential to upend the political dynamics for Republicans facing election in 2018. The endorsement of ‘Big Luther’ could prove to be a big boost for the interim Alabama senator, who is trailing his opponent, former state judge Roy Moore, in some public polls. But even Trump seemed unsure that the endorsement was the right move. “I’ll be honest, I might have made a mistake,” Trump told the crowd at one point during his more than 30 minutes of remarks. “If Luther doesn’t win they’re not going to say, we picked up 25 points in a short period of time,” he added, referring to the media. “If his opponent wins, I’m going to be here campaigning like hell for him.” After some musing, he seemed to catch himself. “Luther will definitely win,” Trump said. It may not have been exactly the ringing endorsement Strange’s campaign had hoped for, but it would have to do. “We have to be loyal in life,” Trump said. “He never went quid pro quo, he just treated me great. “And I’m calling him. He was down like quite a bit and I said I’m going to endorse you,” Trump continued. “I shouldn’t be doing it … The last thing I want to do is be involved in a primary.”

That reminds me of something, due to the Crimean issue Russia would be very likely to recognize and support Catalonia (overtly or covertly), everyone on the pro-Ukie bandwagon will undoubtedly side with Spain (at least in public)

I do not believe that history has always taken an upward path, it has many ups and downs, I believe we have been in a decline for a long time now.
