An oral supplement intended to stimulate a natural body process appears to promote muscle endurance and mitochondrial health in humans. New research suggests that the supplement, urolithin A, may help improve or prolong muscle activity in people who are aging or who have diseases that make exercise difficult. The paper was published in JAMA Network Open. "This is relevant both to people with chronic diseases and people who want to be more active later in life," said the lead author, David Marcinek, a professor of radiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. His research has focused on the role of mitochondria in aging and chronic disease. Urolithin A is a byproduct of a person's gut bacteria and a diet comprising polyphenols found in pomegranates, berries and nuts. Because diet, age, genetics and disease affect the makeup of the gut microbiome, people produce urolithin A at variable rates. The compound also is produced and sold by dietary supplement companies. He should never have promised to term limit himself. Now people have to wonder what other promises he will break. He should be running for Governor instead since he made that promise.

Garland issues chilling warning to perpetrators of Jan. 6 'at any level' The House select committee investigating the attack on the US Capitol on 6 January, 2021 has issued subpoenas for Nick Fuentes and Patrick Casey, nationalist organisers who amplified baseless election conspiracy theories at several rallies in Washington DC. Mr Fuentes, a self-described “white majoritarian” who supported the insurrection and was removed from several social media platforms for hate speech, is a prominent streamer and leader in the “groyper” movement of young reactionary far-right nationalists. Mr Casey is a leader with the white nationalist American Identity Movement. Both men – identified by the committee as “leaders of the ‘America First’ or ‘Groyper’ movement” – were on the Capitol grounds during the attack on Congress that sought to reject the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. They participated in rallies ahead of the attack, including the 2020 Million MAGA March and “Stop the Steal” rallies “where they called for the destruction of the Republican Party for failing to overturn the election,” according to the committee. The committee cites reports revealing how both men “received tens of thousands of dollars in Bitcoin from a French computer programmer, funds the FBI has scrutinised to assess whether funds from this donor were linked to the Capitol attack or otherwise used to fund illegal activity”. “The Select Committee is seeking facts about the planning, coordination, and funding of events that preceded the violent attack on our democracy,” committee chair Bennie Thompson said in a statement. “We believe the individuals we have subpoenaed today have information relevant to those questions, and we expect them to cooperate with the committee.”

https://www.takimag.com/article/the-week-that-perished-173/ The Week’s Most Flaying, Braying, and MLK-ing Headlines NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH JEW-CONTRITION New Mexico consistently scores worst-of-the-worst in terms of poverty and educational rankings by state. And many of the “Land of Enchantment’s” Jews want out. So where are they heading? L.A.? What, I’m made of money? Florida? Oy, the humidity. Okay, then Israel hows-about? Enough with the Arabs already! Nope, the destination of choice for New Mexico’s choosy Jewsies is…Spain. Didn’t see that coming, huh? It all started in 2015 when the Spanish Parliament apologized to Jews for the Inquisition and passed a “right of return” providing a pathway to citizenship for any Jew whose family had been kicked out in the 1400s.

Very good. I might set the threshold a little lower but the general idea is correct. 60-66% might be best for ordinary legislation, 75-80% for Constitutional Amendments. Simple budgetary measures with no other issues tacked on should probably be something like 55% The states could probably do with the current thresholds. (this all assumes a new start with a clean slate, as it is if we ever get in power we need to eliminate the filibuster to facilitate rapid repeals of many years worth of tyrannical laws) You have to remember that the enemy would be just as happy to collapse the system through an inability to get normal business done and then impose tyranny in the wake. That is what they tried to do with the Articles of Confederation followed by the Constitution without the BoR.

Nice strawmen. "Free trade" is not free market capitalism, it is globalist capitalism. It subjects the free market to the distortions of unfree markets, even if the whole world was composed of free market countries it wouldn't be worth the possible increase in wealth that it might create in theory to lose our independence to interdependence. And since the world is not and never has been economically uniform it is an absolute fact that the imbalances will be used to enrich the powerful and impoverish the weak, the whole pie may or may not be larger but the piece that the American middle class gets to eat is diminished both as a fraction of the pie and in simple weight/calorie count. Immigrants are ruining the country and they are not worth the inventions that they may or may not have created and that may or may not have been invented by others instead. (not to mention that we can allow some limited immigration of the best while excluding the barbarian hordes) And you do know that we can obtain inventions created in other countries, right? we do it all the time. Businesses have every right to speech codes for their employees on the clock, they do not have a right to them for their customers when they collude with government and monopolize the speech industry while advertising free speech. Kicking minorities out of the diner is a borderline issue, it can be argued either way, especially if the diner is the only source of food in town.

You will reach that equilibrium when the American people are as poor and enslaved as the Chinese. Only you won't even reach it then while China tariffs us and subsidizes their own industries.
