I've wanted to be a submarine captain my most of my childhood/adolescence. I thought boats were cool and submarines were cooler. When I wasn't a submarine captain, I was an Adeptus Astartes :D Kids these days and their low aspirations smh Have they no love for the God-Emperor? Not gonna lie, even now I catch myself day dreaming I'm a bank robber or jewel thief. My imagination barely lives on.

Ideologically they're similar, that's fair, and one reason I'll have nothing to do with it. Jon Hus and other heretics are forerunners of progressives; socialism is just Christianity w/o a God. A great book on the development of progressivism, socialism, and Utopias for the inquiring is Igor Shafarevich's The Socialist Phenomenon.

This is not a good sign, at all. While not aspiring to be a pro athlete is a good choice for most, this many kids wanting to be cops is a terrible outcome, government education no doubt playing a huge role in this.

From truthdig : Secretary of State Rex Tillerson gave a talk … in which he committed to a Forever War in Syria. … a mishmash of incompatible talking points and full of inaccurate and tendentious assertions, … determination to keep US troops in Eastern Syria over the long haul. … Tillerson laid out five strategic goals in Syria …First, ISIS and al-Qaida in Syria suffer an enduring defeat … Second … post-Assad leadership … Third, Iranian influence in Syria is diminished ... Fourth , … refugees … voluntarily return to Syria. And fifth, Syria is free of weapons of mass destruction.

Good Michael Rozeff piece from lewrockwell.com : the U.S. intends to build a 30,000 man army manned by locals in Syria’s northern region … Tillerson’s plans for Syria are those of an empire whose principals believe they have the right to intervene in foreign countries on their own say-so and for their own ends … The U.S. plan means in effect a permanent U.S. presence inside Syria … Turkey has vowed to strangle it, threatening invasion. Sooner or later, Assad will actively find means, military, political and other, to regain control of northern Syria as he is doing now in Idlib. Tillerson has tried to dampen the reaction with a cover story. He doesn’t deny the creation of the force. … He claims it’s projected as an anti-ISIS force … His explanation or shift in description doesn’t hold water because anti-ISIS forces in those regions have already overcome major portions of ISIS forces without the formation of an army of the type being projected … permanent U.S. bases inside Syria. The defeat of ISIS as a state and territorial entity has largely been accomplished … Why is the U.S. even present in Syria uninvited? Why doesn’t it leave? The anti-ISIS justification proffered by Tillerson is not an answer that makes sense. … The U.S. is interjecting itself into a trouble spot and creating more trouble in its quest for its own foothold … of leverage and dominance …on plans and activities launched months ago. … the Kurdish-led SDF … had a very different understanding of plans: “They have a strategy policy for decades to come. There will be military, economic, and political agreements in the long-term between the leadership of the northern areas ” . The U.S. military expressed a third view: “Our mission…is to defeat in designated areas of Iraq and Syria and to set conditions for follow-on operations to increase regional stability.” …

I didn't. I am using the analogy of an actual battalion of foreign troops to make the point that sometimes one must consider the effects of a group and not just individuals. Handouts, supporting police state politicians are part of the problem. It's not about the construction crews or their nice families. I have no problem shaking the hand of an individual from any nation or having a conversation. I don't view illegal or mass immigration as the biggest problem in the world but it's affects are going to completely gut what is left of our Republic within a lifetime at this rate. I have a problem with that. Well, they tend towards contributing to the violation of our rights. Only thing that bothers me is their population seems intent on reversing all the good trends the liberty movement has started. To my knowledge virtually every one, at least 95% of the representatives from my state in districts with majority immigrant populations opposes gun rights, vaccine choice, and all other meaningful issues that we have made progress on except perhaps certain aspects of criminal justice reform. The last item won't mean much when they pass laws to make us all criminals though.

No, I misread your response because I thought I had asked if it resulted in more tyranny. Sorry about that. It is my belief that mass migration has resulted in more tyranny and less liberty.

So, when a battalion of foreign troops come into your neighborhood you will view them all as peaceful individuals except for the ones you actually see cause trouble. How nice. Here's the deal, I'd have a lot more respect for the open borders position if you all didn't seem so intent on saying that every single thing about having millions of foreigners coming here is great. I'm just sick of individuals contributing to the growth of the police state here, it's not about punishing anyone. It's that no one has offered a better solution than controlling immigration.

Would you say the mass movement of individuals from south of the border to California has resulted in more liberty or less? That's always my hangup. The theory that people can walk around over borders is all well and good until they start changing our government for the worse and implementing more tyranny.

I must deduce that if one examines semantic objectivism of postmodernism generator, one is faced with a choice: either reject neocapitalist narrative of the generation or conclude that consciousness is responsible for hierarchy of generation of postmodernism, but only if the prefuture postmodernsim narrativity is distinct from art; otherwise, we can assume that the raison d’etre of the pastprepostmodernism of the reader is social comment abstractly distinct from the generator.

Of course, but some would say the same about cannabis although I believe it is a God given thing. But Nullification is. the principle of nullification is a question of whether the feds can tell the states what to do, the feds don't have a blank check to do whatever they want, see 9th and 10th amendments. Constitutionalists debate how immigration should work according to original intent. I already said I am not for open borders, but that doesn't mean I would support arresting Pierz if he was a sheriff who refused to enforce immigration laws. I guess I would be. But that's not what I think. The point is if we bounce back and forth between decrying federal overreach as tyranny to demanding it to arrest our political opponents we lose the moral high ground and are creating another point of view opposed to the will of the founders.

http://www.wnd.com/2018/01/1-state-aims-to-be-sanctuary-state-for-gun-rights/ A West Virginia lawmaker has introduced a bill to the state House that would outlaw enforcement of current and future gun-control laws that violate the U.S. or state constitutions. House Bill 2138, introduced by Republican Del. Pat McGeehan, would effectively nullify all federal gun control within the state’s boundaries, according to a report from the Tenth Amendment Center. The bill would make any attempt to enforce such laws a felony. HB2138 reads: “All current and future federal, state, and local statutes, ordinances, laws, orders, rules, and any other actions which attempt to restrict, tax, or regulate the possession, use, discharge in lawful self-defense, transportation, purchase, acquisition, sale, transfer, ownership, carrying, manufacture, or repair of firearms, firearm accessories, ammunition and their accouterments contradict the true meaning and original intent of the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States and Section twenty-two, Article III of the Constitution of the State of West Virginia. Those statutes, ordinances, laws, orders and rules which violate the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of West Virginia are invalid, and therefore, are null and void.”

This is not an article. Louis Anslow is just an idiot nobody posting a blog mainly to himself. His juvenile 7th grade level writing is nothing but a bunch off tinfoil hat delusional accusations strung together without a single piece of actual evidence in support. For instance the loony Louis Anslow writes 162 million unsolicited emails were sent by botnets in Ukraine; that Paul's success in online polls were nothing but a bunch of Russian "bots" (Sounds like Sean Hannity), and popularity of his articles on Digg and others were nothing but Russian bots- A series of self delusional innuendo and imaginary explanations without any factual bases. Tinfoil hat nutcases like Louis Anslow fails to explain the popularity of the message of freedom and the US Constitution. Paranoid zealots like Louis Anslow fail to account for the tens of thousands of people that showed up at Dr. Paul's rallies, or the inspired passion and activism of many thousands of grassroots events of individuals spontaneously having rallies, sign wavings, marches and other activist events, sometimes numbering in the hundreds to thousands ( a movement not seen with any other candidate for at least the past century) , the hundreds of thousands of individually homemade signs and banners hand posted and hung across the nation; or the nearly $7 million in donations generated from individual American citizens in a single day money bomb. Louis Anslow the fool wants to write off all the online American activism as automated "bots", yet all the friending and associations by individuals on Facebook and Myspace are verifiable individuals; The online activism with thousands of individual comments and postings and blogs and editorials each individual unique and thoughtful sign by real names of individuals dedicated to activism, entire websites such as ronpaulforums and dailypaul and hundreds of others created and operated by individuals, the petitions, the pledges all with real actual names of verifiable people the creations of many tens of thousands of individual videos on YouTube and other sites showing activism across the nation, creative songs and artistic music and video and art and more; - all these things that are impossible by bots. This same wave of people (millions that voted for Dr. Paul in the primaries) of highly impassioned, dedicated individual activists can easily and legitimately vote up online polls or articles (except in the demented wacko tinfoil mind of Louis Anslow).

I don't know what is wrong with the rep system that you get three neg reps and I'm only allowed to give you one. But Hillary didn't lie about her client nor did she say he was guilty of first degree rape. She said that was the charge. I did watch it and you lied. Further he didn't "get off." He plead guilty to a lesser charge. What Hillary said was "I got him off WITH TIME SERVED." He's still on the sex abuse registry the rest of his life. You have not identified a single legitimate ethical lapse in anything Hillary did or said in that video.
